Chapter 43 : Sorrel Waterfall

T/N: I've added pictures for Ren's cooking! I think I will also add the pictures on the previous chapter as well. I really enjoyed looking at all these food while thinking "Maybe this is what they're having right now~" kind of thing. I posted this chapter in advance because I want to know what you guys think! Please tell me on the comment section~

"Ren..Ren..! Wake up! If you're still sleepy, you can sleep later while riding with Chris. Wake up, Ren!"

"Ng..Mmh..Ye…Yeah… Good morning Sig-san."

I woke up to the sound of Sig-san calling out to me. I was still sleepy but when I blinked my eyes, the three of them were already dressed up in their travel outfit, prepared to go.

"Ah! I'm so sorry! I will start preparing myself immediately!"

I hastily woke up and began to change my clothes but then, suddenly the realization of the things that we had done before came back to me.

A particular spot in my body felt really weird.

I felt my face blushed deep red as I remembered all the embarra.s.sing things I had done!

Ah..What have I done?!

I was thinking of returning the favor since Chris-san gave me a felattio two days ago but I totally had no idea that things would escalated that way.

I gave a b.l.o.w.j.o.b to Fer-san and Sig-san and also my b.u.t.t was being played at too!

Ah.. There's no turning back anymore for me huh..

"Fufu~ Why your face turn so red like this, Ren-chan? So cute~" Chris-san chuckled, seemed like he knew exactly what was going on inside my mind.

"N-Nothing!"

"We are going to feed Viktor and the others so take your time to change, Ren-kun. After you finish changing, we can start moving out again." Fer-san said as he and the others went out of the tent.

"Okay."

Good, I could use 'heal' to heal that place peacefully.

I positioned my body so I could point a certain area near my b.u.t.tock.

"Ha…[Heal]. To think I need to use heal first thing in the morning like this…"

But,if something even bigger went inside me.. Would my b.u.t.t become torn apart?

Ah.. I don't want that..

Well, the three of them never forced me against my will and they kept telling me they would go along with my pace but no matter what, they are still a man you know?  

Chris-san was the oldest but he was still in his early 30's. A healthy, young man, still bursting with life and spirit.

It'd be cruel of me to abstain them from s.e.x.

And.. When they played with my b.u.t.t before.. It actually felt good as well..  So I actually wanted to try the real thing as well..

"Well! When the right time comes, we will get through it so let's just go with the flow for now." I shrugged.

After taking out my mantle and clothes from the magic bag, I changed into them and put on my boots before I went outside.

"Thank you for waiting. I will start preparing for breakfast, okay?" I greeted the three of them.

They were brus.h.i.+ng their respective horses while the said horses were busy eating.

Ah as always, the horses looks lovely today as well.

"I will be waiting for it." Fer-san replied.

"What are we going to have this morning?" Chris-san c.o.c.ked his head to the side.

"Whatever it is, I'm sure it will be delicious like usual." Sig-san replied with confidence.

Hearing their replies, I also began to take the portable table and cutlery from my magic bag while thinking what should we had for breakfast.

Hmm.. Western food sounds nice.. Okay, western food it is!

I took sauteed mushroom with miso mayonnaise and cheese as the dressing and poured it on top of the pimping hot toast.

For protein, I had minced meat wrapped with egg and I also took a bowl of fresh salad to keep our meal balanced.

The last, a jiggly apple jelly for dessert.

I looked into my magic bag, there was still a lot of food left even though we ate a large quant.i.ty of them every single time.

Maybe..I might've went overboard when I prepared all these food beforehand..

For me, eating the saute mushroom with the toast was more than enough but for the three of them, a large quant.i.ty of food was needed to satisfy their bottomless appet.i.te.

"The food is ready~" After one last finis.h.i.+ng touch, I called out to my fiances.

"As usual, the food prepared by my bride looks so good!" Sig-san said merrily, he was the first one that sat on the table.

"Eh..Bride you say.." I muttered.

"Hm? But that's the truth, right?"

"Well it is but.."

A bride huh..

We only had 3 months of engagement period and then we would officially become family but still..

When he called me his 'bride' like that, I would feel embarra.s.sed!

Especially with these three handsome man!

"Fufufu~ Ren-chan are you embarra.s.sed?~"

"He looks so adorable when he blushes."

Both Chris-san and Fer-san sat down next to each other.

"Geez! Stop teasing me! Let's eat already." I urged them to eat, my blush went a shade darker thanks to their teasing.

"But really, Ren's cooking is so delicious. You must've practiced a lot back in your old world, huh?" Sig-san asked as he started to eat.

"Yes, I don't really remember when but ever since my mother was busy working, I've been helping around with the housework and cooking. Since my mom is the only family I have left, I want to help her in any way I can."

Since my mother already worked really hard to provide for me, I also had to lessen her burden by doing the housework.

Although my mother already retired from her work and became a housewife instead after she remarried so I guess everything was fine?  

"Your mother.. Does that mean when you got transported to Alsar, your mother would be left alone then..?"

"Ah, that's alright. My mother already remarried before I went to Alsar. Also, I didn't have a close relations.h.i.+p with my family anyway so I doubt she even realized I had went missing in the first place."

It wasn't like we had a bad relations.h.i.+p but we were not overly affectionate as well.

She wasn't the type that would gently praise me or stroked my head if I did something good but it was not like she was neglecting me too.

She got married around the time I was about to enroll to university so I took my chance and decided to live by myself as well.

I had scholars.h.i.+ps so I didn't have to worry about tuition fees and for my day to day expenditure, I had my part-time work to cover it.

Basically I didn't have any real reason to contact her hence why our relations.h.i.+p grew even more apart after I went to college.

But she did go through all sort of hards.h.i.+p while raising me so from the deep down of my heart.. I truly wish she would be able to grab her own happiness now.

"I see.. Ren-chan, you've been through a lot huh. It's okay, from now on we will pamper Ren-chan a lot!~"

"Fufufu, I'm going to make you guys spoil me rotten if you say something like that you know?" I replied.

I guess it would be alright to rely on them a little at least?

Though, no matter what I'm still a man so I don't want to just stand idle and let them protect me.

I also want them to be able to rely on me as well.

"If that's what you want, we will be more than happy to oblige! If possible, it'd be good if you become so dependant on us that you won't be able to leave us, Ren." Sig-san exclaimed while he put a fist on his splendid pectoral muscle and puffed his chest up, like he was saying 'Leave it to me!'.

"Ah, I would be troubled if I become like that. Hahaha." I chuckled lightly at their exaggerated expression.

I would turn into a useless human being if I become like that.

I couldn't become too dependant, I need to be independent while still relying on them at times.

"Anyway, this toast is really delicious." Fer-san praised my toast.

"Yes, I'm using miso and mushroom as the topping."

"Miso?! So you can cook miso in this way…"

Thanks to the other other-worlder in Alsar, miso existed and people used it to make miso soup.

But that was it, seemed like they never cook it in any other way like using it as dressing for toast.

Hmm..Maybe I could write all the recipe I could remember and have my own restaurant one day.

I could serve the customer my cooking that I learned back in earth like [Ken].

"Fuu…I'm stuffed! Thank you for the food, today's food is delicious as always."

"I'm glad you enjoyed it."

The three of them finally finished eating. The plate was clean without any leftover as usual.

Time to clean up the plates and put everything into my magic bag so we could continue our journey.

"Today Ren-chan will be riding with me first!~" Chris-san merrily said.

"Yes, William I will be in your care today." I greeted the beautiful William, his silky hair was beautiful too today.

Chris-san helped me up and we started to walk through the forest again.

After two more breaks, I was riding on Viktor now.

Because I already fell asleep on the way before, I felt very energized as I was talking with Fer-san.

"We're going to reach Sorrel Waterfall soon, the tree around here is pretty short so we need to walk on foot so we won't get hit by the branches."

As soon Fer-san said that, he jumped down from Viktor gracefully and helped me down.

The magical horse was really smart, they were following us obediently as we walk through the foliage without us pulling their reins.

We didn't even need to tie them with a rope, they just obediently followed us.

True to Fer-san's word, the tree around here was short, so the four of us needed to be careful as we walk so we won't get hit by the branches.

"Uwah!"

"Oops, are you alright?"

There were also a lot of rocks around here, I almost fell down because I didn't pay enough attention to where I walk but thankfully Sig-san swiftly catched me.

"Thank you, Sig-san. I'm alright since you catch me before I fall."

I continued walking while paying close attention to the ground and branches so I won't trip again.

After a few more minutes walking, we've finally arrived.

"Uwah…Amazing! So amazing!"

Before my eyes, there stood two big waterfalls.

The waterfall right was about 15 meters tall while the waterfall on the left side was about 20 meters tall. The distance between two waterfall was 3 meters at most like the waterfalls were reluctant to be apart.

The area below the waterfalls was thick with fog from the clas.h.i.+ng waters, making an illusion as if the waterfall was conjoined together in the end.

Maybe that was the reason behind Sorrel's legend?

"The waterfalls come from a different river but they merged together in this place. That's why the people called this waterfalls as Lover's Waterfall. On the other side of the river, there lies Pedrell City. It only takes a day to reach this waterfall from Pedrell so usually there's a lot of people but luckily for us, we are the only one here today." Fer-san explained.

"Heee.. What a magnificent waterfall.." I gazed at the waterfalls in front of me.

I didn't have a good vocabulary to express the beauty of this place.

The sound of the falling waters were really loud but as they streamed down to the river, the water were flowing quietly as if they were happy to finally be together.

Near the riverside, there was enough s.p.a.ce for people to leisure around while enjoying the nature.

Combined with the sound of the forest, this place was simply soothing for the heart.

"There's an open s.p.a.ce there! Let's have our lunch here, okay? And then we can continue to Pedrell by crossing the river. The river is shallow enough so we won't have to worry about being dragged by the current~"

"Yes, if we eat while being surrounded by beautiful scenery like this, the food will taste delicious for sure." I nodded excitedly.

"Ren's food is always delicious no matter where we are though." Sig-san said as matter of factly.

"Fufu, thank you for the compliment, Sig-san."

The others also complimented my cooking wholeheartedly, making my chest felt warm with happiness.

I set the table while smiling joyfully, I wonder what should we have for lunch?

Ah that's right! I know the perfect dish to eat together at a time like this!

I hurriedly rummaged through my magic bag, looking for the bowl of hot pot that I stored inside.

"This is the food that I used to eat while having a get together. I really like to eat this back in my previous world."

I opened the lid and presented curry nabe hot pot to them.

Not only the curry nabe, I also prepared a bowl of rice to eat with and tofu salad with wafu dressing to cleanse our palate.

"Eh..This mud looking thing..?" Fer-san said with a scowl on his face.

"Somehow, there's an incredible smell coming from the bowl." Chris-san visibly backed away from the bowl.

"It has an unique smell for sure.. The smell of the spice is so thick. You must've used a lot of spices here."

Judging from their reaction, I guess they never had curry nabe before?

Now that I think about it, Malik-san also looked very surprised when I showed him curry nabe.

Well, I also faced a lots of trial and error before I finally found the perfect combination of spices for this dish.

It might seem pretty conceited of me but I think my curry nabe tasted delicious.

"If the smell is too much for you guys, I can prepare another dish as well.."

If the curry smell was too overwhelming, I won't force them to eat it.

I wonder what I should take next?

Something that goes well with tofu salad hmm…

"No, I will eat it. Ren's cooking is always delicious so I believe this one should be delicious as well. Furthermore, Ren said that you like this food, right?"

"Yes, I think I eat this at least once a week."

"In that case, I won't hesitate to eat this then." Sig-san nodded to himself.

I offered him a bowl of rice,"Here you go. If the taste is not to your liking please don't hesitate to tell me, okay? Don't force yourself."

Sig-san accepted the bowl into his hand and with determined expression he picked a spoonful of the curry nabe and said,"Itadakimasu!"

He pushed the rice and curry into his mouth, closed his eyes tightly as he chewed in uncertainty before his face slowly filled with smile.

"Ren! This is super delicious! So, so delicious! I think, out of all Ren's cooking, this food is my most favourite one so far!" Sig greedily gulped down the curry along with the rice, his face was decorated with wide smile.

"Really?! I'm glad~ Here, try to eat it with this pickled veggies~" I offered the veggies to Sig-san which he chomped happily.

"Don't hesitate to ask for second serving, I still have plenty of food left!"

Since Sig-san already finished his plate clean, I gave him another serving of rice.

"Sig.. He's gulping the food so vigorously like that.. Ren-chan, I'm sorry I doubted you. I also want to try to eat it as well!~"

"Ren-kun, I'm sorry for the rude things I said before. I also want to try this curry nabe too."

The other two decided to try the curry nabe after seeing Sig-san eating the food happily like that.

"Okay, here you go."

They hesitated for a moment before they took the first bite.

"Ah, it's true.. So delicious!~"

"Yeah, the spice is really thick that it stings my tongue a little but it tastes delicious."

"Fufufu~ I'm glad that you two enjoyed it too, there's still plenty of it so don't hesitate to ask me for seconds, okay? Ah and don't forget to eat the salad too!"

Fer-san and Chris-san took another large bite of curry, they seemed to really like it.

The sight of them eating my food happily like that while being surrounded by beautiful nature like this made my heart felt warm all around.

Now I knew why this waterfall was notorious for couples all over the country.
