Potion Maker Chapter 25: Info Dump(Not Really) Of The Sacred Level

After taking the potion, Will decided that before he sleeps he would test his body's strength.

Shaking the dizziness away, Will walked over to a few trees.

While testing his strength, he realized that after taking the potion, his body is now able to handle more power.

With the increase in his defenses, he body can resist high levels of muscle power better than before.

After turning the few trees into piles of wood chips, Will realized his fist didn't hurt even in the slightest.

Watching the moon getting further up into the sky, Will decided to go to sleep; so, he entered another ravine, and entered his mental s.p.a.ce.

In his mental s.p.a.ce, Will sat for a moment to enjoy the sparkling stars in the vast void of his s.p.a.ce, sighing at the beauty, Will started to practice his potion making abilities.

As time pa.s.sed, he decided to check his points because he remembered the shop.

"System, display my points"

looking at the points, Will nodded as he thought about how stingy the system is.

"I made a potion for intelligence, poison potion, strength potion, and now a defense potion"

'Seriously, this one point a potion no matter what potion is made, is pretty unfair'

Thinking back, with this amount, he could only buy two potions from the shop.

If he could access the market he could trade, buy or sell with the G.o.ds.

Sadly he was unable to access the market as of now.

"When will I be able to use the market?"

Thinking about this, Will asked the system as he thought about the things he could acquire in the future.

-Once you enter the equivalent of this world's sacred level, you will barely qualify to communicate with the G.o.ds, the weakest G.o.d can squish the sacred level like an ant.

After listening to the system's explanation, Will resumed practicing his Potion Maker ability.

About the sacred level, it was mentioned before that the sacred level doubles the power of a peak level four pract.i.tioner, specifically it doubles the power of a level four melee fighter, leaving a beginner melee fighter of the sacred level at thirty six times stronger than someone who hasn't cultivated in this world.

This is relying purely on physical strength though, the natives of this world use mana to further strengthen their bodies for a power that surpa.s.ses the power of their physical bodies alone.

If you add mana capacity and the efficiency in manipulating mana, each level can have drastic differences in power.

The average pract.i.tioner can double their strength even further without breaking through, using mana.

Though, the mana capacity is also limited by their body's natural capabilities.

So even in mana manipulation, if you start behind, you will always be behind.

Unless you have a fortuitous encounter..

Going back to the sacred level, those at the sacred level shed their mortal flesh, by shedding their mortal flesh, they surpa.s.s the limits of a mortal.

Their flesh will be fused with pure mana, causing their flesh to be half mana, half flesh.

Which is the shedding of the mortal flesh, they are still flesh and blood, it's just that half of their body becomes pure mana.

Half of their blood is a liquid of pure mana.

Their bones also become half mana, a solid type of mana, allowing the bones to still function how they should.

Those in the sacred level can do anything a mortal can do.

The only difference is that with their flesh being modified by breaking through, they have a lifespan of thousands of years, and their strength can grow limitlessly and no longer be bound by the restrictions of a mortal body.

For Will, he is unable to use mana, so he cannot do this like the natives of the world.

Their ability to use mana to amplify their physical strength that Will cannot accomplish is fixed by him being able to build up his muscle power through impact or time to release a power beyond what he can normally release.

His sacred level will be attained through pure physical capabilites, and of course, with the a.s.sistance of his Potion Maker ability.

Especially with the fact that he can acquire an ability from ingredients he uses to make his potions.

Over time he will gradually cease to be a human, although, Will isn't aware of this at the moment.

Just let him make a few more potions.
