Potion Maker Chapter 49: Closer To Revenge.

Still standing by the foot of the mountain, the aged appearance of Arnold stood still as his black clothes fluttered in the wind. His face twisted in a sinister expression as he muttered under his breath.

"I will not allow you to prevent me from getting revenge!"

-I am not preventing you, I just said that if you don't hurry up I would have completely taken over your body and you would lose your chance. You better hurry up Arnold, the possession is almost complete!

"d.a.m.n it! Whatever trick you pulled, if you hadn't, you would never be able to possess me!"

Arnold clenched his fists as he spat blood in his rage. His aura rose, continuously flickering between level four melee fighter to sacred level melee fighter.

It was only a matter of time until he breaks into the sacred level.

The young boy he once was has long vanished, over these few months the techniques the demon made him practice caused him to gradually exhaust his life force. In order for the demon to possess the boy's body with the specific method he uses, the boy will have to exhaust all of his life force, then once his life force is exhausted, the demon will scatter the kid's soul and take his soul's place.

The reason behind this is that his technique will fail if there is a foreign life force, so he needs the kid to exhaust his life force so he can replace it with his own. The type of demon he is doesn't naturally possess a physical body, so the form he has of a black mist is his body, therefore possessing life force.

His life force conflicts with the boy's so he has to get rid of the boy's life force in order to successfully possess him.

Arnold's rapidly aged appearance is because of the lightness and foot technique that the demon taught him. The techniques will drain the life force of any human that uses it, allowing them to travel many times the speed of sound, at the cost of their life force.

The techniques cause no harm to demons, since they are made for the use of demons.

Time pa.s.sed as the sun moved several degrees through the sky, firing beam after beam of it's autumn light.

The wind blew gently, ruffling the fabric of Arnold's clothes as he stared at the late autumn sky. Deep in his mind he constantly replayed the scene of his village being wiped out, every second his heart would bubble with intense rage and hunger for revenge.

He would always feel an encouraging feeling, a feeling that was telling him to let it all go and be consumed with rage.

Several minutes pa.s.sed as ripples could be seen forming around Arnold's body. His aura gaining enough power to manifest physically.

Arnold's aura started to get closer to that of the sacred level as he looked through his memories, any hair on his head that still had color quickly turned silver as more wrinkles appeared on his face.

He grew even closer to breaking through as the plants in the surroundings started to wither into dust.

I will kill you! Just wait and see!

His eyes started to develop a slight milky color as his cheeks sunk slightly inwards. Arnold glared in the direction of the sect and started walking to an area at the foot of the mountain.

A dark mist spread into the surroundings as several boulders started to crumble, Arnold stepped into the gap created and walked further and further into the mountain before settling.

The newly created cave sealed itself as Arnold got into a meditative position and slowly blended into the stone, disappearing from the inside of the cave.

The surroundings, stone included slowly started to decay as streams of energy flowed into a portion of the cave wall.

The aura of the sacred level melee fighter grew more and more stable.

The sect is too large and powerful for him to take on by himself so Arnold made a decision to finish his revenge when he gains a new level of power.

He wanted to not only kill Will for revenge, but also try to drain his life force to prevent his death. Considering his present condition, he estimated that he only has at most a couple years left to live.

Either he dies or Will dies!
