“Yeah.”An was astonished but Su Yu only replied with a “Yeah”.But An knew him well. The calmer he looked, the more turbulent he felt inside.
Instead of boiling water to make tea, An walked over and asked, “President Su, who told you this? Was it President Huo?”
“No. Mian would never provoke me with this… I overhead it from Tang Chuan’s wife.”
“Miss Qin Ning? Then… it’s probably true.”
Su Yu smiled but didn’t speak.
“Has the wedding date been determined? I don’t think they’ll have it in the near future. President Huo is big with babies now and wouldn’t want to wear a wedding gown in her current condition,” An mumbled.
“It’s said they’ll have the wedding one month after the boy is born.”
“Oh. It will be very soon. She looks like she’ll be in labor soon…”
An didn’t know the stuff about baby birth but he thought Huo Mian had been pregnant long enough to have the baby soon.
“Boss, don’t be sad. You’ve known President Huo will have the wedding sooner or later… Besides, she’ll have another baby soon.”
“I’m not sad. I’m happy. I’m… happy for her.”
As Su Yu said the words, bitterness rose in his heart.
He didn’t know why he was so sentimental.
On the other day when he ate out with Tang Chuan and his wife, he overheard Qin Ning mention that Mian was choosing a wedding gown.
Su Yu had felt bad instantly. It wasn’t unhappiness, but he wasn’t happy either.

With a lump in his throat, An pulled a blanket over Su Yu.
