Sure enough, hearing Su Yu’s question about Huo Mian, Mrs. Su’s eyes turned uneasy.
“Yu, listen to me. You must…”
“Mom, don’t be so evasive with me. I want the truth. Where’s Mian? Tell me, tell me…”

“Where’s she? Why didn’t she come and see me?”
“She… was wounded in the explosion. She’s in a ward upstairs. I planned for you to see her when you’re better, but you are so impatient.”
