The 99th Divorce Chapter 1437 - The Wedge Between Them

As he thought about it, Li Jinnan scrounged his brows. His eyes revealed a man in deep thought. Judging from Shen Luo’an’s att.i.tude, he didn’t seem willing to divorce Ye Youyou.

The scandal between him and his sister was proof that Shen Luo’an wasn’t a h.o.m.os.e.xual. Without waiting for a reply, he turned and left.

Li Sicheng didn’t mind at all. With his wife in his arms, he lowered his head and looked at Su Qianci’s belly. “Your uncle is in love. Let’s not bother about him.”

Su Qianci harrumphed and pushed his head away. “Go away. The baby’s heartbeat just appeared. Whom are you talking to?”

Li Sicheng didn’t seem to mind. A smile broke out on his face.

Li Jinnan left the house and drove his car onto the main road. He wound down all four windows to let the breeze in, reveling in the breeze.

Picking his cellphone up, he called Mila. She wasn’t just Ye Youyou’s manager; she had also been her good friend for many years. Regardless of what it was, Mila would at least have some clue to what was going on.

Li Jinnan was lost in deep thought for a moment. He soon asked, “When did she and Shen Luo’an get married?”

“No. The one who was injured was of the family name of Guan,” Mila said. “She is the daughter of Youyou’s stepfather. The one who was taking care of her in the hospital is of the family name of Ye. She shares the same parents as Youyou.”

“Did the stepsister ever pay Youyou a visit during that period?” Li Jinnan asked.

Mila laughed. “Guan Queye went crazy quite a few years back, so how could she have gone to see her? It was also around that period that Youyou’s relations.h.i.+ps with the people around her began breaking down. Everyone insisted that Youyou had pushed her over. But, I believe that Youyou isn’t that sort of a person.”

The creases between Li Jinnan’s brows deepened. He nodded meaningfully. He replied, “Understood.” In other words, everything had changed because of Ye Youyou’s sister.

Everyone insisted that Ye Youyou had pushed her sister over, and Ye Youyou had been unconscious for over a week during that period. So, the turning point must have happened during that week. And, Shen Luo’an must have had an important role to play in that.
