Linlin began to take Youqun's social anxiety seriously. On one hand, Linlin started seeing the Heavenly King as a friend after being around him for a while, but on the other hand, if she cured his anxiety, she would complete her mission and elevate her level of cultivation, too.

Linlin went to find s.h.i.+s.h.i.+, and then to look for the legendary doctors, Bian Que and Hua Tuo. Hua Tuo liked to drink since he had arrived in the heavenly realm and was busy with the Wine G.o.d; not having located him, Linlin went to Bian Que for help.

Before coming to the palace, Linlin asked Bian Que to be very careful around the Heavenly King, else risk angering him. Bian Que was actually nervous; this was his first time meeting the Heavenly King. If the fairy hadn't told him, he'd have never known the majesty was plagued with social anxiety and never left the house.

Youqun slept until noon today; when he realized Linlin hadn't woken him up, he was happy about her defeat. But then he noticed her coming in with an elderly man with a white beard. He thought carefully, Isn't this old guy some amazing doctor in the human world called Bian Que or something? He began to have a bad feeling.

"Heavenly King, yours truly went to look for help this morning, so I didn't wake you up. Hope you don't mind," Linlin apologized before dragging Bian Que from behind her. "This is the legendary doctor Bian Que. He's quite famous among humans. Didn't you say you had social anxiety yesterday? I found him for you. Hopefully he can heal you."

Youqun squinted at her, gasping at her words. "You're saying I have social anxiety?"

Linlin didn't realize the mood had changed. She nodded. "Yes, your majesty did tell me you had this."

Bian Que saw a gust of phantom, but then burning flames started to form around Youqun, so he carefully backed up. The fairy, however, was still standing in place and kept saying, "Or, your majesty's body language told me you had social anxiety!"

"Pfft—"

The files near Youqun all turned to ashes among the sudden golden flames in his hand.

Inside the flickering firelight, one could see that Youqun had lowered his eyes, and his white jade desk, as well as numerous books and files, had all started to disappear inside the palace.

Bian Que was backing up so much he was almost outside the palace.

Linlin was still standing where she had been, and Bian Que almost wanted to drag her away, reminding her that—

The Heavenly King was angry!

But with Youqun's cold gaze on him, he dropped his hand.

He couldn't afford to offend the Heavenly King.

Youqun walked closer and closer to Linlin.

"Peng—"

Just when Bian Que thought Linlin was going to suffer, there came the sound of knees. .h.i.tting the palace floor.

"Please forgive me, Heavenly King! It's my fault!"

Immediately, the flames on the Heavenly King, as golden as the fires of the Nine-Level Heavens, seemed to be snuffed out by invisible water, and there even appeared to be white smoke emanating from him.

Bian Que rubbed his eyes in disbelief.

The Heavenly King was silent for a while before grabbing his head in frustration. "It's fine. You can get up."

This was when Bian Que realized there was talent above talent, and genius beyond genius.

There was always someone who could control you.

Maybe one day, the Heavenly King would love the outside world and Linlin could finish her mission?

Linlin waved and whispered, "Bian Que, please take a look at the Heavenly King."

"I'm not sick," Youqun said coldly.

Realizing Youqun had heard her words, Linlin's voice lowered to an almost inaudible level. "I think he became sicker."

Bian Que was about to rush over and inspect him, when the Heavenly King announced, "I said I'm not sick. I don't need healing. The doctor should leave."

"Come over." Linlin waved at Bian Que.

. . . Who should he listen to?

In a quandary, Bian Que thought maybe his heavenly life would end today.

"Heavenly King, as a lowly fairy, I beg you to not be so willful," Linlin said with resignation. "How about this? If you let Bian Que take a look today, I won't wake you up tomorrow morning."

Bian Que's face was filled with shock.

Would the Heavenly King agree to such ridiculous conditions?
