The disciple was an ordinary-looking lady who was in a long emerald dress.

“Ling Chang Sword Palace.” The lady replied, looking wary. However, she was not the least bit worried as she was near Holy Sword Mountain. Holy Sword Mountain would be alerted if they were to get into a fight.

“Great! I need your help and I will give you 10,000 Middle-grade Dawn Stones as your reward!” Su Mo said.

“What am I supposed to do?” The lady could not make up her mind. 10,000 Middle-grade Dawn Stones was a large amount but it depended on the task that she had to carry out.

“It is very simple. You simply have to inform Ling Chang Palace Master that Gongcheng Tai Hao is waiting for her here!” Su Mo said with a smile.

As a safety precaution, he did not tell the lady that he was Qin Yun or Su Mo.

He had used the name of Gongcheng Tai Hao as only Ling Chang knew about this name.

“Is that all I have to do?” The lady was surprised. It was a simple task and yet she had been offered 10,000 Middle-grade Dawn Stones!

“Yes, it is that simple. I just need you to help me pa.s.s the message!” Su Mo nodded.

“Alright. I will pa.s.s the message on for you!” The lady nodded without giving much thought to it.

However, she did not ask Su Mo any questions as she knew that she would not get any information out of him. She nodded and said, “I promise not to tell anyone about it!”

The lady caught ahold of the storage ring and after checking on it, she verified that there were 10,000 Water Based Middle-grade Dawn Stones in it.

“I shall leave now!”

The lady cupped her fist and did not stay on. She immediately flew toward Holy Sword Mountain.

Su Mo took a deep breath. He hoped that the lady would carry out her task. After all, all she had to do was to pa.s.s a message.

He was cautious. If the lady had told someone else about him, he could run away at any time.

“Great!” Su Mo heaved a sigh of relief when he heard Ling Chang’s reply. After a while, he smiled and said, “I am here to present a gift to you!”

“Why are you afraid to return to Holy Sword Mountain?” Ling Chang did not ask about the gift but about Su Mo.

She had been in seclusion and had not paid any attention to Su Mo. Thus, she had no idea what had happened to him.

“I have killed a few disciples of the Ultimate Supreme Being Palace and thus I don’t think I will return to Holy Sword Mountain.” Su Mo sighed. He had expected Holy Sword Mountain to learn about Xu Yan’s death.

“Have you killed a few disciples?” Ling Chang frowned when she heard it. For the past few years, nothing had been heard of it in Holy Sword Mountain and everything was peaceful.

“Did you not hear about it?” Su Mo was puzzled. How could Ling Chang not know about it when a few disciples had been killed!

“I had never heard anything about it!” Ling Chang shook her head.

Su Mo found it bewildering. He has killed four disciples but Ling Chang knows nothing about it. Has it been swept under the carpet?
