Chapter 2084: A Message From the King
Just as Kraft thought that he had the whole situation in control, a Rifle Mage suddenly appeared right behind him while attempting to understand the entire situation at hand. Kraft had no choice but to use his chi to calm the Rifle Mage down even as No Mercy went on a rampage against the Dune Sh.e.l.l Orcs.
At the same time, the Star Foxes also took this opportunity to push forward now that the Dune Sh.e.l.l Orcs could feel the pressure being applied to them and their numbers had dwindled considerably.
"What's the message from the comfortable chairs of Bamboo Village?" Kraft asked as he knew that as uncanny as it was, the Star Foxes not only managed to do their job but also went the extra mile and prevented the advance of the Dune Sh.e.l.l Orcs from invading the Bamboo Village. What more does Jin want, when he a.s.sumes that his dear King is finally able to keep things under control?
"There are sightings of another wave of Dune Sh.e.l.l Orcs from the Northern Side of the village. But their colour is different from the usual Dune Sh.e.l.l Orcs that I am seeing right now." The Rifle Mage messenger could not express his relief that this particular portion was under the control of Ress Royal Advisor.
The messenger had heard rumours of how absurdly strong the Royal Advisor was but he never expected that he would be this strong, especially now when he happened to understand the situation the Dune Sh.e.l.l Orcs were in.
"Are they lighter blue in colour? Like erm… this dude?" Kraft looked down on the pile of dead Dune Sh.e.l.l Orcs that he had been sitting on and subsequently pointed at the one who was paler in skin colour compared to the rest.

"Yes. The majority were of that particular skin colour for the Orcs that had been sighted. King Jin had already begun to take the initiative to attack with erm his… erm.. Bamboo Humanoids…?
Erm… sorry the word is …" The Rifle Mage tried to take out the letter that Jin had written although he did attempt to memorise the entire message before coming towards the Royal Advisor especially how rumours had painted him as a monster. (Well, he is considering what he was doing to the Dune Sh.e.l.l Orcs at the side of his battlefield.)
"Mechas, is it? He and his obscene obsession with robots. I swear that he might have infected me with part of his fervour for robots. But hmmm, Bamboo made robots. Did he control the Bamboo G.o.d as planned?"
"I am sorry, Royal Advisor. I am unable to answer that question as it was not in the letter stated but there is a high chance that might have happened," The Rifle Mage turned messenger was relieved that his head was still intact even as Kraft answered on his behalf.
"Hmm, yeah. Judging from the change in mana flow within the bamboo forest, I think that is the case that had happened. That's great for him and perhaps for me too.
Looks like I can rampage however and whatever I want in this place without him knowing what had happened." Kraft said that last line with acuity that it brought s.h.i.+vers to the Rifle Mage who initially thought his head was considered to be intact.
The Rifle Mage immediately bowed and kept quiet while his head was clearly in contact with a dead Dune Sh.e.l.l Orc. Kraft laughed loudly seeing the actions of the Rifle Mage who knew his place even though there were signs of him s.h.i.+vering at the thought of death.
"I am just kidding with you. Do not take it seriously Besides, if you do not return to Jin upon your report, then he might have to send another Rifle Mage to disturb my current entertainment programme, right? So, you are permitted to leave but report as generic as possible.
Is that a clear instruction?" Kraft asked and the Rifle Mage shouted loudly, indicating that he understood his new job set by the Royal Advisor.
"Oh, right. I might get bored watching after my summon killed the High Orc chieftain so it would be boring to watch a one sided mop up operation once it's done." Kraft suddenly thought about it as No Mercy had dealt a blow against the High Orc Chieftain so effortlessly that he had lost an arm as the conversation between Kraft and the Royal Mage was panning out.
"What can this humble one do to a.s.sist in your pursuit of a pleasurable leisure?" The Rifle Mage still had his head on the ground while rendering his services.
"Nothing much to be honest. Just give me access to your Lesser Jewel of Odin so that I have a side show to watch as they control the stuff here." Basically, Kraft wants to see how Jin handles the Northern side of a s.h.i.+tshow just as how Kraft had managed to keep this place under his control.
At first, he was beginning to think that he had to do everything himself and Jin was being a lazy a.s.s for not coming out.
But things had changed now that he understood the situation at hand, he was still a little disappointed that he actually overestimated the orcs' capability, resulting in him to show one of the little tricks he had saved up for emergency uses. "Meh. At least I did give it a try than just keeping this as a theory in my head." Kraft reasoned to himself while the conversation was ongoing.
So, in order to get back at Jin for making him to work quite a fair bit, he wished to at least watch Jin suffer a little despite the fact that he have this so called Bamboo G.o.d aiding him and the village. "Honestly, if it is not for the Pandas, I would think this is really a waste of time. We could have change the portal and placed it at our enemies' kingdoms." Kraft said to himself once more.
"Then see the humans die from the dungeon outbreak. That would had been the most fun part. Am I right?" Kraft asked once more. But this time, it felt like he was talking to 'someone' else.
