T/N: It’s rather interesting that Yuan Qiao Qiao’s father is someone from Rui Qinw.a.n.g’s faction, it adds more depth to the already complicated web of relations.h.i.+ps, but also it is actually quite realistic, as historically there were plenty of examples of people from the same family on different sides of the court.
