Chapter 2

Unfortunately, as the incident took place downtown, the police arrived just in a few minutes.

He hadn't even had the time to ask the Alpha–who is now, in his eyes, handsome like a G.o.d–for his name.

Fortunately, when the two police officers asked if the pair would spare some time to help write a report at the bureau, the man agreed. Therefore, there was no reason for Rong Yi to express his rollercoaster-like feelings.

The place the thief chose to attack him was really not the best. It was only one intersection away from the nearest Public Security Bureau, which is why the police were able to arrive so quickly.

Rong Yi followed behind the man and sneaked a closer look. He was pleasantly surprised to find that the other party was a little bit taller than him; looking to be 1.9m tall. Not only that, but his shoulders were also very wide, giving a feeling of security and a sense of being strong, but not too strong.

Tall, handsome and talking to him gave a gentle and addictive feeling.

If their destination was actually the Civil Affairs Bureau instead, Rong Yi was willing to sign his name in marriage without hesitation.

After waiting for a while in the bureau, Rong Yi couldn't wait to go outside and swear by his ID card. When he handed it to the police comrades, he deliberately faced the man and walked in front of him. There was no reason for it, other than the fact that his gender was marked on the ID card. He had suffered too many losses on this issue, and it was never a bad thing to let the interested person know early on.

It was a pity that he had only walked through half the police station before he was rejected by the police.

"You don't have to do the report. You can fill out a list instead and I'll collect it."

Rong Yi felt helpless and the hand slowly retracted. Fortunately, the person standing in front of him was actually looking at the small card in his hand.

"Your name is so special," the man smiled as he s.h.i.+fted his gaze from the ID card to his face. 'It's rare to see pictures on someone's ID card look so good."

Rong Yi also smiled but didn't speak.

This wasn't a deliberately rude gesture, but an over-stressed one. He was not a particularly introverted person, but he was inevitably stiff until he wished to harvest goodwill.

Fortunately, the other party didn't mind. He took the form, sat down, and gave him the list.

The list is very simple, and Rong Yi quickly completed it before sneaking into the next room to find the man. Unfortunately, he was discovered by the other party without realising it.

The man took the initiative to move his list in Rong Yi's direction.

"My surname is Chen," he said. "Chen Keyao… Huh, it appears that we were born in the same year."

The characters were written beautifully. Rong Yi's heart was swaying more and more and his whole person was not able to do anything but smile stiffly.

In his heart, he was looking forward to talking more. However, Chen Keyao saw that Rong Yi had gone silent and had stopped talking.

The case itself was simple. The suspect was arrested and the transcript was quickly made. Seeing that Chen Keyao was about to leave,  Rongi Yi began to panic as he had not yet received any contact information.

If I don't take the opportunity, it'll be hard to meet again.

Just as Rong Yi moved to stop him, Chen Keyao, who had already reached the gate, suddenly stopped. Rong Yi followed his line of sight and saw the little girl who had been robbed of her wallet.

The little girl was sitting on the corner of a bench, looking very overwhelmed as she tightly clutched her wallet and sw.a.n.g her two, little legs back and forth. There were only two police officers in the hall, and as both were very busy, the little girl must have been ignored.

"Child, where's your family?" Chen Keyao walked up to her and squatted. "Why don't you go home?"

The little girl was a little awkward. "I… I don't know how to go back."

She was lost.

The bus that stopped at the door of her hobby cla.s.s would take her straight home. However, when she had got onto the platform, she had reached into her pocket to grab her wallet and found that another hand was there.

The little girl was very timid; she hadn't dared to speak out. Due to this, she had foolishly watched the man turn and leave with her wallet. After she had followed him for two more roads, she had eventually gathered up the courage to let out a big scream.

Although she now has her wallet, she can't remember the way back to the station. She wanted to ask a police uncle for help, but it's obvious that they are very busy. She cannot afford the courage needed to speak out, but fortunately, some people had already discovered her distress.

After listening to the little girl, Chen Keyao asked, "Where does your family live?"

The little girl looked very small and hesitant, but she recognised that this was the hero who caught the bad guy for her. Cautiously, she took a card out from her wallet and handed it over.

"Uncle, can you send me to the station?" asked the little girl.

"No," Chen Keyao looked at the address on the card and shook his head. "But if you call me brother, I can send you home."

The little girl was stunned, and Rong Yi who was standing near-by also stumbled.

"It's very late and you're in a hurry to go back to your parents," he said as he stood up and reached out to the little girl. "Let's go. Say goodbye to the police uncle."

It's not safe to follow a stranger.

But Chen Keyao didn't look like he was a bad person. The little girl stared at his face for a while, before carefully putting her hand in his hand and jumping off the bench.

Chen Keyao took her and turned back, looking at the stupid Rong Yi who was still standing in shock.

"My car is parked in the garage of the mall in front," he said.

Rong Yi blinked but still didn't say anything.

"…I'm sorry, I just saw your address," Chen Kezhen spoke awkwardly but didn't give up. "It's on the way to child's home. Would you like me to give you a ride?"

Rong Yi swallowed hard. "I would be very grateful."

Rong Yi felt like he wasn't sitting in the back seat of a car, but was instead sitting in clouds.

Immediately after becoming more familiar with Chen Keyao, the little girl seemed as though she had come alive. Her mouth had not shut once in the car, but fortunately for Rong Yi, he was able to collect some information about Chen Keyao because of it.

On the fourth floor of the mall, there's a children's martial arts cla.s.s. Chen Keyao worked there and taught the children how to defend themselves. He even gave the little girl named Lolo a business card, saying, "if you are interested, you're welcome to join the cla.s.s to study. The price is fair and the teaching content is real and reliable."

After Lolo carefully took the business card, Chen Keyao was in a good mood, so he suddenly launched into a critical and educational lecture; saying that she shouldn't just follow strangers in the future. After all, the bad guy wouldn't mind hurting her.

Lolo shook her head. "Big brother is a good guy who catches the bad guys! You can always just catch the thief!"

"Only thanks to the brother sitting behind you," Chen Keyao said, looking at Rong Yi through the mirror. "If he didn't catch up and stop the person, I wouldn't have been able to catch him."

Suddenly mentioned, Rong Yi's posture becomes a bit stiff.

To Lolo, the brother behind her seemed a little. However, after turning her head, she returned to her previous and sweet appearance. "Thank you, brother."

Rong Yi laughed. "You're welcome."

Rong Yi's residence was closer than Lolo's family. However, Chen Keyao accidentally went down the wrong road, so he sent Lolo back first.

While waiting for Chen Keyao to come back, Rong Yi once again fell into a state of tension.

How can we naturally get into contact with each other? He leaned back into his seat, his cogs turning rapidly. Suddenly, a lightbulb flashed above his head.

Mr Chen, would you please hand me a business card," Rong Yi asked voluntarily. "I have a relative's child who is interested in martial arts."

"Of course."

Chen Keyao's hand had just reached a business card when it suddenly stopped. At a red light, he simply turned and looked at Rong Yi.

"It's better to add me to WeChat. If you have any questions, just try me."

When he spoke, he looked straight into the eyes of Rong Yi and smiled, looking sincere and full of charm. Rong Yi who had a clear view of this died internally.

Pulling his phone out from his pocket, Rong Yi's excited mind was already thinking about how gentle Chen Keyao was and how he would surely be a good father in the future. The surname Chen is quite easy to add on to. What should their future children be called? If he can, he wants to have a son first, so that the brother can protect his sister. But before having any children, they must have a wedding. For the dress, Rong Yi wanted to wear a white suit.

Rong Yi quickly added him as a friend and after five minutes the car door opened to the entrance of Rong Yi's home community.

After Rong Yi had stepped out of the car, Chen Keyao rolled down the window and waved his hand. "Feel free to contact me anytime."

Rong Yi nodded.

He desperately needed this gentleman to hurry up and start a romantic love story with him. He decided to text him immediately after he returned home.

However, before messaging him, he took some time to look at Chen Keyao's circle of friends.

Rong Yi had set up to only display recent content, but the amount of content shown looked like it could span over several months. It should have been quick and easy to scroll through, but as Chen Keyao posted his photos in two of his friends' circles, it took a long time.

One was just a big headshot, with 80% of the image being hair. The text read, "Brother Tony simply can't understand what is meant by just a short cut."

Rong Yi wanted to reply, but even after a while, he couldn't think of a sentence that allowed him to both acknowledge the hairstyle and at the same time be humorous. So in the end, he just looked at the photo quietly and liked it.

The other photo was a lot more exciting. It was Chen Keyao standing in front of a mirror at the gym.

Rong Yi tightly held the phone and stared at the six-pack abs in the picture, feeling his temperature rise.

There was nothing more ideal than this. Chen Keyao seemed to have stepped right out of his dreams.

Moreover, he had even noticed Rong Yi's address on his ID card meaning that he must have noticed the gender label on his card as well. Chen Keyao had not shown any surprise but had instead sent Rong Yi home and even actively exchanged contact information.

An Alpha, taking the initiative to send an Omega home and also exchanging contact information before stressing to keep in touch.

What does this show?

Should he flip through the calendar to see what day would be the most suitable for marriage?

After rolling around on his bed several times, Rong Yi sat up and took deep breaths as he tried to calm himself. He then opened Chen Keyao's message box.

"Thank you for sending me home."

Deleted.

"Thank you for today."

Deleted.

While he was still tangled up in what to send, Rong Yi's phone suddenly vibrated.

A message. But unfortunately, not from today's sweetheart.

"I'm really embarra.s.sed about today. I'm a bit slow and often spout nonsense. I hope you don't mind. If you can, I hope that we will be able to get along as before?"

The sender was Liu Yuan.

It took Rong Yi a few moments to understand what he was talking about.

The Alpha, who was at the top of his ideal marriage targets this morning, was now a yellow flower.

Rong Yi didn't hesitate to reply.

"Don't worry about it, I've forgotten!"

Liu Yuan, who? Can you compare with my future husband, Chen Keyao?

The author has something to say:

I have a question about ABO that I've always been concerned about. How many toilets should the world set up?

[T/N: Does anyone know how to copy the text from the raws? That would really speed up my process and would allow me to look up words and phrases that don't make sense to me. I'm not even sure if the little girl's name is Lolo :((. Also, does this seem as all over the place to me as it does to u? anyway, have good day <>
