If she remembered things correctly, the bed in the study was…wrecked by them.

“Hungry?” His deep voice rumbled.

“A little, but last night…”

She was the one initiating it and was embarra.s.sed to explain it.

“I’ll take responsibility.”

She got up as she pondered. She coiled the blanket around her while she headed to the bathroom for a shower.

The moment she pushed the bathroom door open, Huo Chen, who was just about to turn off the shower stopped, turned around and looked at her.

Huo Chen took a towel and wrapped around his lower waist.

The jeep had gone on for a distance and after a twenty-odd minute journey, it stopped by a little white mansion.
