Defiantly Tyrannical was smiling so much his eyes narrowed into a thin line. There were no main tanks in Three Major Guild Alliance that could hold out against the Arrow Tower’s attacks but Brother Windcloud Nine alone could minimize the losses of the alliance. They would be able to advance at a quicker rate.

Brother Windcloud Nine did not hold up for long. He remained beneath the Arrow Towers for a bit before retreating back.

The Flame Arrows shot by the Arrow Towers had such high Critical Rates that even Brother Windcloud Nine was only able to withstand for a short while.

Invincibility, Damage Reduction likewise skills were all ineffective in the face of the Arrow Towers. Each tower had a debuff that enabled the shooting arrows to disregard all skills with Damage Reduction and Invincibility effect.

It was all about the equipment and levels when faced with these several hundred Arrow Towers.

“Brother Nine, thank you for lending a hand. I will remember this honorable deed,” Defiantly Tyrannical put his hand out to Brother Windcloud Nine.

Brother Windcloud Nine rode on Cerberus to wander around. He did not continue attacking the Arrow Towers. Instead, he ran towards East Gate.

“Brother Nine?” Defiantly Tyrannical was stunned.

With the arrival of the Windcloud clan, 1.3 million players made a grand entrance into Celestial Capital.

All the Resurrection Points outside Celestial Capital were occupied by the Windcloud clan. Defiantly Tyrannical could not wrap his head around this change so he immediately raced on his horse toward Brother Windcloud.

“Brother Nine, if your clan wishes to resurrect here, occupying the Resurrection Points isn’t an issue but you should leave one for us…”

“Kill!”

Defiantly Tyrannical had yet to finish his sentence when Brother Windcloud Nine suddenly turned hostile. He smacked one of Cerberus’ heads and unleashed h.e.l.lfire on Defiantly Tyrannical.

Defiantly Tyrannical was caught off guard, so were his underlings. The ghastly h.e.l.lfire incinerated thousands of those from Three Major Guild Alliance…

“Modify mode, kill all of Three Major Guild Alliance!”

Upon Brother Windcloud Nine’s arrival, Defiantly Tyrannical added Brother Windcloud Nine into the party to avoid any accidental kills between camps. He then gave Brother Windcloud Nine the authority to add people in so that he may reel in everyone from the Windcloud clan into the party.

During the period of Warring Nations, they were all on Party-Attack mode…

It never crossed Defiantly Tyrannical’s Mind that Brother Windcloud Nine would betray him. The same went for his underlings. Even the people from the Windcloud clan did not expect this turn of events, let alone Three Major Guild Alliance.

Seeing Brother Windcloud Nine roast Defiantly Tyrannical to death, the players from both camps were flabbergasted. It took quite a while before they came back to their senses to modify their attack mode in an attempt to retaliate…

“Kill all of them from Three Major Guild Alliance. These bunch of perfidious traitors are not worthy to be part of our Secret Alliance!” Brother Windcloud Nine raised his sword up high and roared.

“Kill!”

“We will follow Brother Nine! Charge!”

“Kill! Kill—”

The screams shattered the earth.

Although Three Major Guild Alliance has a greater number of people than the Windcloud clan, the clan had the element of surprise. They were first to strike and occupied all the Resurrection Points while Three Major Guild Alliance was caught with their pants down. Their leader was already killed and when they finally rallied, most of them were killed.

Their numbers slowly diminished one by one as the three Resurrection Points were taken. Three Major Guild Alliance was in a crisis, all were playing dead on the ground with no one daring to revive…

Ten minutes later, Three Major Guild Alliance was completely wiped out. The only players alive and well outside of Celestial Capital were the Windcloud clan.

“Old Dog, WTH do you think you’re doing?”

Defiantly Tyrannical came back from the dead and returned to Shattered Frost City hundreds of kilometers away. He was burning with rage.

Brother Windcloud Nine coldly smirked as he replied, “What do I think I’m doing? When we were laying siege the last time, why did you play dirty with us? An eye for an eye.”

“You… Great, great, great, what a great Old Dog!” Defiantly Tyrannical was so p.i.s.sed he could not make out the words to describe how he felt.

With five million men scattered, regrouping would take them three to five hours…

Li Yi had already heard about everything that was going on outside of Celestial Capital. He was not the least bit surprised and commended Brother Windcloud Nine on the satisfying cooperation.

“This time only!” Brother Windcloud Nine was quick to reply.

Li Yi smiled and rode his Holy Light Warhorse near Chief Executive to fight with all his might.

He did not just convince Night Moon to form a Secret Alliance the last time he was in the Western Continent. Brother Windcloud Nine too, was persuaded to join in. One could say that the stunt pulled by Brother Windcloud Nine on Defiantly Tyrannical was entirely his idea.

With the hostile situation between Brother Windcloud Nine and him, who would have thought they would team up? Defiantly Tyrannical would never thought in a million years that… he would be fooled.

Of course, Li Yi really did have to put in the effort to bring Brother Windcloud Nine on board. Brother Windcloud Nine had already declared that this was a one-time thing. They were still enemies the next time they would meet.

Whatever. Everything was fine and dandy as long as Brother Windcloud was not stirring up trouble now.

Chief Executive’s HP was now around 10 million. Different from Great Lord Knight, the lesser Chief Executive’s HP, the stronger her DEF became. The earlier thousands and thousands deduction in damages were now only in the double-digits.

The battle was prolonging as it went on and growing harder!

With Sea of Fire unleashed, members of Iron Alliance were scattered about. Although the Imperial Palace gates were huge, not everyone could escape in that short span of time. Those who made it out were unscathed but those who did not were burning up in flames. This move took down thousands of men in seconds.

Almost everyone had knocked at death’s door, and Li Yi was no exception. He himself has died twice but luckily, the equipment drop rate upon death during the warring period was not high, only a tenth chance from the norm. Even if one were to die ten times and above, the chances of dropping their equipment were pretty slim. Of course, there were still those with terrible luck.

Li Yi’s two special tools, Sacramental Stone Fragment, and Fire Devil’s Emblem prevented him from losing any EXP. The most he lost was the durability of his equipment.

He was not bothered about the durability of his regular equipment, but the durability of his orange bow was a different story. One death would cost him 300 points. If this were to continue on, his ten thousand durability points would be lost quickly.

Li Yi placed the orange bow into Pearl s.p.a.ce so that his orange bow’s durability would not be lost. He switched it up with Murloc Crossbow. This way, he would have nothing to fear when dying.

Li Yi noticed a blind spot upon the release of Sea of Fire. He had just positioned himself when Jiaojiao came riding on Deathcharger over. She obviously spotted the same blind spot.

The coverage of Sea of Fire was huge. This blind spot was enough for just one person to stand in. Li Yi let Jiaojiao have the spot while he quickly took off his equipment before running into the Sea of Fire…

He would not lose any EXP from death and his equipment would not lose any durability from being in Pearl s.p.a.ce anyway. He had nothing to lose. All he had to do was resurrect.

“Now this is a man.” Jiaojiao was pleased with Li Yi’s gesture.

Li Yi switched back to his orange bow. With Chief Executive’s HP dropping to the 3 million range, she may drop dead any moment. He needed to make sure he landed the last hit.

Jiaojiao too, grew anxious as she re-casted her Double Curse and flung her Greatsword non-stop. It looked like she was prepared to make the last strike.

Li Yi ran to the feet of Chief Executive to set up a Poisonous Spiky Vine Trap before ordering Lightning Leopard to release a Finis.h.i.+ng Blow. He himself locked in G.o.d Mode to hit Chief Executive with chain attacks.

It was not only Li Yi and Jiaojiao but the entire Iron Alliance were on pins and needles. Everybody knew the rewards that came with the last blow. Li Yi and Jiaojiao wanted to score it, and so did the rest.

Wizards cast Blizzard Spell, Violent Warriors went Berserk, Paladins unleashed Light of Glory while Vagabonds released Whirlwind spells…

Everyone was casting their skills at full blast!

“Hahaha, it’ll be mine this time.”

“Dream on, it’s going to be mine!”

“I have just unleashed Flaming Meteor Rain. Everyone step back!”

Members of Iron Alliance who has died countless time were filled with vigor. This was where it got interesting. The process was not important, the last strike was the most significant.

For a million of them to s.n.a.t.c.h that one chance, its chance of success could only be imagined.

Finally, under the relentless attacks of the Iron Alliance members, Chief Executive was down. The System announcement in red made the screen.

With the Imperial Palace Hall accessible, 500 spirit knights on spirit horses came das.h.i.+ng out and formed a line in front of the Imperial Palace gates.

The Holy Word of a Light Priest was a spirit knight’s weakness!

Cheers roared behind Fire Ice.

Another spirit knight came running from the Imperial Palace Hall, joining in the spirit knight troop.

Nothing more, nothing less, maintaining their numbers at 500.

“Charge!”

The 500 spirit knights formed one straight line, lifting their spears horizontally to initiate a charge.

With a strong gust of wind in their faces, the spirit knights charged from the hall to the gates, their presence filling the entire scene. Those players standing inside the Imperial Palace was down on their luck as each of them was penetrated by the spears, taking in [-100,000] in damage!

The charges were coming in from all directions…

It was only when the Imperial Palace was left with no survivors that the 500 spirit knights halted their charging. They stood in a neat line in front of the Imperial Palace gates, holding their spears in tandem.

Not a single Iron Alliance member was left standing in the Imperial Palace. It was total annihilation…
