It was an honor to be granted the t.i.tle of G.o.d. While the players would not gain any additional reward from it, players could only truly become G.o.d by overcoming the G.o.ds, killing, or being acknowledged by the Ruler of G.o.ds as they entered Mount Pantheon.

Party Neo Wing had won their first battle without any trouble!

After the battle, Li Yi and his party members were teleported to Mount Pantheon. They raised their heads and they could see was the big and intimidating palaces.

It started from the Lower G.o.d, Moderate G.o.d, Superior G.o.d, and all the way until the Ruler of G.o.ds’ Great Palace. The palaces built on top of Mount Pantheon looked just like the Saint’s Twelve Golden Palaces.

The Ruler of G.o.ds’ Palace was at the pinnacle of Mount Pantheon. The rainbow light that was beamed out from the palace had completely covered Mount Pantheon.

As the rainbow light bathed every one of Neo Wing’s party members, all of their Attributes were increased.

Li Yi’s END had increased by 100 points whereas Zhang Yan’s STR had increased by 50 points. Everyone in the party had had their stats increased, the only difference was that which attributes and the amount increased was different.

Another party succeeded and was transported where Neo Wing waited.

It was the Fluttering Snow Party led by Fluttering Snow Purple Water Chestnut herself. Her party consisted of Bai Xiaoya and Black Wing.

Five minutes pa.s.sed and another two parties were teleported simultaneously. The first party was Huashan’s party led by The Mountain. The party had shocked everyone as it consisted of Sc.u.mbag w.a.n.g, Lonely Perfume, Sometimes It Gets Sad, and the core members of the Huashan Guild. All they needed was Fengxi and everyone would be present.

The other party was a low-profile party as they only had ten party members. It was led by the Weapon Warrior that looked extremely similar to Tyrant Sword King the Fifth and the party members were all players that everyone was familiar with.

More and more parties were teleported to Mount Pantheon. The first battle had a fifty percent success rate. In other words, out of the hundred parties, only fifty parties were eligible to enter the next phase.

Approximately three hours had pa.s.sed when the first G.o.d Wars battle had finally ended.

Li Yi knew more than half of the players that had successfully cleared the stage. Brother Windcloud Nine and Chen Yang had won but Mad Dragon had lost. Infinite Insanity’s party had advanced through the first battle and Mad Dragon joined his party afterward. Unending Unmatched, Pale Blue Elegance, Fang Jie, Brother Simon, Windcloud Killer, etc had all successfully advanced to the next stage.

Autumn Love’s underground gambling had spread throughout the foot of Mount Pantheon. As G.o.d Wars was the largest event in the King of Pantheon to date, it had attracted countless dealers to partic.i.p.ate. Ghostly Walker had advanced and Li Yi was incredibly surprised with his teammates. There was a total of nine of them and every one of them was dressed in black robes. They even had black masks covering their heads and it was impossible to distinguish their faces at all.

What made Li Yi most curious was that even though he had used the Divine Looking Gla.s.s on all nine players and there was only one result. He could not obtain any information from them…

These fifty promoters had brought their parties along. Hundreds of players gathered before the Pantheon Palace as they discussed among themselves.

No one knew what was going to happen. Not even Li Yi…

In his past life, all of his memories related to the Ruler of G.o.ds stopped after the first match.

“This is the second battle, clear the Seven Demon Palace!”

“The Seven Demon Palace is a dungeon setting and every party is allowed to challenge it at the same time. The duration of the battle is limited to three hours and those who fail will be disqualified. The timer shall begin in ten minutes.”

“Seven Demon Palace Dungeon?”

“Woah, three hours? Isn’t that too short?”

The players were getting riled up as none of them expected the next challenge to be a dungeon.

The Seven Demon Palace? Perhaps they were about to trespa.s.s into the Seven Demon G.o.ds’ territory and challenge them in Mount Pantheon?

Li Yi was excited as he had been bringing Aersith along with him the entire time. He originally thought that he would not be able to put her to good use in the G.o.d Wars, but it looked that there was still some use left for Aersith.

The players were discussing away in Mount Pantheon and the players outside did not idle as well. All major dealers had opened their tables to bets and their dealing styles varied greatly. Instead of betting on which team would advance, they were betting on how many parties would advance. More than 25 parties were considered high and less than that was considered low.

“The odds are 1 to 1 at Dark Wing’s table!”

The dealers were going crazy.

They had to clear a dungeon, a dungeon that they had never challenged before within a very limited time frame of three hours. Anyone would have realized the difficulty of this task.

The ten-minute preparation period flew by in a blink of an eye as Li Yi was the first one to lead his party into the Seven Demon Palace Dungeon.

Black gas was spreading about inside the palace as seven horned Demon G.o.ds could be seen lining up in the center of the palace.

Li Yi tried summoning Aersith, but he received a notification instead. “Your party has reached its maximum limit.”

He had to kick a party member out if he were to summon Aersith.

Li Yi frowned as he turned around and said, “It’s unclear how tough this new dungeon is but I hope everyone here will do the best as they can. We’ll experiment on the first try. Although it doesn’t matter if we win or lose here, I’ll apologize in advance to those who disappoint me.”

Li Yi was very straight forward with them. If they were not skilled enough, they would be kicked out of the party.

“Understood!”

“Alright!”

Everyone should have some self-awareness and should blame themselves for not being good enough. No one can blame the captain as all of them would not be qualified to be here if it isn’t for him.

Everything that needed to be said had been said and every member understood it as well. Li Yi nodded as he signaled for the main tank to charge in.

What was their plan? They had no idea. All they could do was to adapt to the situation.

Ten main tanks rushed in as the Seven Demon G.o.ds surrounded all ten main tanks and started attacking.

Li Yi observed from the rear for about ten seconds before he gave the order to attack.

Based on his initial a.n.a.lysis, the Seven Demon G.o.ds would only use normal physical ATKs in the beginning. Although they dealt very high damage, the main tanks were able to live through it as long as they were healed on time.

Li Yi looked at the status the Seven Demon G.o.ds had and realized that there were no unique buffs at all. There were only three buffs combined into one normal demonic buff which increased their ATK, DEF, and HP.

Zhang Yan stood at the front and screamed, “Guild Master, which one should we kill first?”

Li Yi hesitated as he came to a decision. “Let’s start from the weakest, the Seventh Demon G.o.d!”

Every DPS player started focus firing at the Seventh Demon G.o.d and it only took them two to three minutes before the Seventh Demon G.o.d fell to the ground.

“Kill the Sixth Demon G.o.d now!”

In a blink of an eye, the Sixth Demon G.o.d had fallen as well.

“The fifth!”

“Fourth!”

The Seven Demon G.o.ds fell one after the other under Li Yi’s command.
