Chapter 7 The European Cuisine

Seeing Shen Mo busy with the staff in her own working area, Jiang Hao wrinkled his eyebrows . Though it was not easy for her to be familiar with all the staff, she made everything a mess . Even answering a phone call could lead to the falling of all the folders . Finally, Jiang Hao couldn’t bear it and he stood up to joke around with her, saying, “I see that you are busier than me, the president . ”Without us, how could you be so comfortable? But she dared not speak aloud this sentence and only curved her lips and lowered her head . “Let’s go . ” Before Shen Mo could understand what was happening, Jiang Hao had already taken her to the door .

Jiang Hao felt the difference in her question, but he didn’t answer her directly . “Why? Are you unhappy I invited you?”She didn’t know what to say . I could make you lose face . ” She didn't want to be the cause of embarra.s.sment for not knowing how to dine among the rich and powerful company he kept . She knew he would be curious about her familiarity with Western foods . Anyway, her younger sister was in a hospital, and she was short of money . Jiang Hao kept on looking into her eyes, trying to find an answer . When Shen Mo felt a little nervous, he stopped and said, “Buy an evening dress after work today . ”Were there many dresses in the villa? Shen Mo wondered this in her heart . After careful thought, she replied in a low voice, “President, I think that I should avoid these kinds of circ.u.mstances if I can . ”“Why?” he asked . “Give me a reason . ”She was choked by a bite of steak, so she drank some juice . He waited for her with his eyebrows locked in a slight scowl . “President, I think our relations.h.i.+p should not be exposed to the public . ”He laughed, and said, “I don’t care . Why are you so nervous? Just remember to be prepared . ”Watching him leave, Shen Mo was a little confused . This was the one who had been her companion for a year? His heart was like an iron wall, with no way to break in . But today, he had opened the door himself for her to enter . However, she turned out to be prudent . Should she hurry up?
