The lucky adventurers that took Sigfrid's body to the nearest town thought they were going to be rewarded for their n.o.ble deed. In their minds not only was money coming their way but they had stashed away some pieces of armor including the Sword and s.h.i.+eld of the deceased making their little trip extremely profitable.

Sigfrid's body was wrapped in a white cloth and was inside a coffin made out of wood that was being transported by a Warrior like one would carry a sack of potatoes, over the shoulder.

The warrior carrying the coffin was part of a team of five mercenaries that had been hired to protect a caravan on their trip to s.h.i.+njuku but they quickly jumped s.h.i.+p at the chance of an easier and more profitable job.

"We need to see the person in charge, we bring the corpse of the great Sigfrid"

The guard of that particular Auction House looked at the group in front of him and frowned, He had never heard of the name Sigfrid in his life but some of the people standing in front of him were third tiers and deserve due respect.

"I am not sure why you came to our auction house with a corpse but I think you got the wrong place, the cemetery is down the street and to the right".

The faces of the five mercenaries changed immediately as their dreams of riches were crushed and quickly turned angry at the Guard.

"You think we are Joking?"

The Guard saw the change in att.i.tude and didn't like it at all, he might be a second tier but n.o.body in the 15 years he had been serving the establishment had the b.a.l.l.s to cause a scene at the Auction. In the guards opinion, he had been really nice instructing them where the cemetery was despite the group being nuts.

"MOVE A L O N G!!"

The screamed called the attention of the other guards including the leader incharge that rush to the scene and saw the coffin.

"This is the Silverwing Auction House, if you know what is best for you move along"

"We ain't moving until we see your director and get our reward, we gave up a big job to delivered this corpse and we are not leaving until we get our compensation!!".

The commotion started to attract the people in the street and the tension was high, a fight with level 30's was no joke and it would destroy the buildings. The scene got so loud that it finally reached the ears of the manager who personally delivered the news to the director.

The director was a level 38 mage who dreamed of serving the Echelon's of the G.o.d of Justice organization and knew the biographies of everyone at the top and this included the name of the right hand of Ivan Pendragon, The Immortal Sigfrid. The moment the mage heard that the corpse of one of the most powerful was being delivered by a bunch of Third Tiers made him mad with Rage, "How dare they insult our Lord Sigfrid in front of me, blasphemy!!"

BOOM!

A Fireball destroyed the walls of the highest office building causing the commotion in the streets to quiet down while the powerful mage levitated down looking at the people on the ground with a deranged face.

The Director was about to incinerate the offenders but the coffin on the shoulders of the Warrior made him hesitate. Mage's were pretty intelligent fighters and they tried to make rational decisions every time, and what was more rational than to see what was inside.

"I don't know what gave you the courage to show up here and talk all that nonsense about Lord Sigfrid but that is a crime punishable by death".

The group of mercenaries started to sweat but their profession lived by one moto, nothing venture...nothing gain. The leader and highest level in the group step forward and very respectfully said, "Esteemed Director, we walked many miles so that Lord Sigfrid could have a proper burial. He was killed by his Arch Nemesis Nightmare before he could make it to the Abyss portal but there is no need to believe my words, the proof is right here".

The mercenary pointed to the coffin that was now laying on the floor and signal the warrior to opened it up and let them inspect it.

The latch was opened and the mummy wrapped Sigfrid was lying peacefully inside as if he was sleeping. The mage looked at the corpse and his face lost all color and made him staggered backwards a little bit, He had seen the pictures of all the top echelons of the church since he was a kid and there was no way he wouldn't recognize the face of one of his idols and he was grateful that if it was in fact the real Sigfrid the people in front had taken proper care of the body.

The mage quickly check for illusion enchantments and frowned when he found none, it was a very delicate issue and he needed to communicate with the people in Silverwing to receive further instruction.

The mercenary team smiled when they were shown to a VIP room and were treated very well while they waited for the investigation team to arrive and confirm the situation.

The Winged Lions had arrived and informed Ivan about the situation a day before but there was no news about the outcome. There was a lot of tension in the tallest tower of Silverwing but it was nothing they had not seen before and they had been surprise by Sigfrid time and time again. According to the Lion, Sigfrid had manage to kill 3 enemies while his team had only lost 2 but they were still in a 5v2 situation but it was a lot more manageable.

Ivan contemplated on the information at hand and didn't know what to think, there was no way to get anything out of Harbinger because the leader of Blackrock Port did not give a f.u.c.k and lived for war.

The news came and Sigfrid's butler was dispatched to inspect the body and if the news were true to bring it back.

The butler and confidant of Sigfrid was a level 46 rogue that had being trained to serve the one with the t.i.tle of Sigfrid since he was a little boy. He was trained by the previous butler to the and now it was his job to train his replacement.

Alfred and his pupil arrived at the Auction house and proceeded immediately to the room where the coffin was held. They were both like undetectable ghost and it wasn't until they spoke that the mercenary team took notice of the other people in the room.

"Did you see who killed him?" ask Alfred.

"We didn't see the killing blow but when we arrived at the scene there were only two people, one was Lord Sigfrid and the other was a Dark Knight that was being burned alive. The Gnome Warrior told us to take the corpse of Lord Sigfrid that had been killed by his Arch Nemesis Nightmare and that the G.o.d of Justice followers would reward us for our deed".

Alfred didn't say anything else and continued to inspect the body and when they found that the armor was gone he trembled with rage and before anybody could say anything he used the Skill Snap of the Wrist sending 5 kunai into the foreheads of each and everyone of the mercenaries.

"Go check their pouches" The apprentice nodded and with very easy movements he collected them and checked them.

"Lord Sigfrid's armor is all here".

"Let's Go"

Back at Mount Doom…

Rahz was on his quest to a.n.a.lyze the blood and characteristics of the elders of the council. It was very important to acquired samples of blood from the high level races so he could create his own Demonic Avatar.

Ever since he acquired the Belt of the t.i.tan and discovered the might of a Dragonkin he felt in love with the skill and now that he was level 31 it was a lot easier to create something extremely powerful.

Rahz was not able to obtained the blood of the elders but that didn't mean that there were not youngsters of the same bloodline in their clans.

Rahz was in the middle of obtaining his fifth blood sample via sparring with one of the nephews of Barash when he saw that Thug'Dromog arrived into the arena. It was very rare to see the headmaster of the Havoc Chamber come visit due to the fact that he was not a pure Bloodline Demon and usually was seen with disdained by all the pompous n.o.bles.

It had been very easy for Rahz so far to collect the samples as the Demon race was similar to the spartans in that they were taught to fight at a young age and were expected to engage in a match everyday. Rahz and Ridd.i.c.k were a novelty since they had just arrived and it was good to fight different fighters than the usual suspects.

Rahz finished his fight and quietly collected the samples before heading towards Thug'Dromog who tossed a pyramid looking object at him.

Rahz grabbed the object and while inspecting it said, "What is this?"

"Congratulations Rahz, you are the new Headmaster of the Vengeance Chamber"
