Rahz looked at his father who was now telling him to not waste much time and nodded in acknowledgment.

The Third opponent was actually a fire mage specialized on offensive magic but how could a Level 10 compare to his mothers ability to cast spells. Even though the element was different there were still offensive spells.

As soon as the fight started Rahz burst forward with explosive power startling the mage into spending his defensive card, Fade. Before Rahz even got within striking distance the mage faded away and reappeared 5 ft to the right of his previous position but the inexperienced and the information from the previous 2 fights play a key role on taking the mage out of the mental portion of the fight.

Rahz stopped for a second but the moment he saw the mage materializing once more, he performed an evasive roll forward and swung diagonally from right to left and then the Axe came down the middle.

The timing was exquisite, a little early and Rahz would have hit air and a little late and maybe the mage had a chance to do something else. After the 2 swings, Rahz put his Axe over his shoulder and waited for the fourth line of his evolution rune to materialize. The swings were so swift that it took a couple seconds for the mage to crumble like a jigsaw puzzle.

Once again, there was no reaction from the public but this time they were absolutely confused. They were confused because the Kobold Man had won by luck on his first 2 matches and now it was a complete slaughter.

" Helgahvall in the HOUSE!!! you showed them RAHZ"

"WOOT WOOT WOOT"

The excitement this time was contagious specially for the winners that double their money by taking a chance. Unlike the group of Helgahvall that knew Rahz's ident.i.ty, a wave of chants started to spread across the arena.

KOBOLD... KOBOLD...KOBOLD!!

They just couldn't get enough, was he strong, was he weak, was he lucky, it couldn't be determined and for the fans it was magically refres.h.i.+ng.

"Well done kid!!! would you be fighting again?"

"I am not suppose to fight more than 3 times today but ill be back tomorrow"

The announcer was disappointed but there was nothing he could do to force anybody to continue. The announcer always saw the positive side of things and this set up was actually a lot better for the arena as they could do a bit of advertising and get stronger fighters to stop the winning streak. A sinister light pa.s.sed across the announcers' eyes and he sneered at the smiling face standing in front of him.

With a round of applause Rahz left the arena and joined his father in the stands. They decided to collect their winnings and leave the arena to have a good night rest. As fate would have it, had they stayed for the final match of the night perhaps they would have recognized the a.s.sa.s.sin in the match as the Dark Elf whose brother was killed by Rhaen four years before.

In just 4 years he had manage to reach his second evolution and was getting stronger, who knew what the future held for that unfinished business.

The next morning, Rahz's group had a sumptuous breakfast and left to explore the city. This time Rahz didn't carry any of the money and left it to his father. They were now pretty well off with 267 gold coins to their name and not much to spend it on.

The group decided to head to the central plaza to look at what it had to offer in terms of items and to check the place were the slave auction was going to be held. The team made their way through the streets of Willowdale town but something had change when people looked at them.

There were whispers all over town saying "Look is the Kobold Man, I heard last night he tore a guy to pieces in the arena and ate his face. That is nothing, I heard he cut someone's tongue and lick his b.a.l.l.s with it!! Person over there is wrong it wasn't his opponent tongue they were his lips and then he kiss his a.s.s with them!! Savage!! ". Every story was more ridiculous than the last but there was one thing that every one could agree on and that was making sure to arrive early at the arena to see the new matches.

Only one person seemed to be oblivious to what people were talking about on the streets and that was a middle age man in a priest attire that was actually making a beeline towards the group in quite a hurry.

Cras.h.!.+

"I am sorry son... I didn't mean to b.u.mp into you ... I beg your pardon"

This time before the priest could leave, his hand was caught by Rahz and a purple tooth encase in copper ribbons dangle from it.

"I believe that is mine"

The priest threw his robes into the air and in that split second when Rahz was distracted by the robe, the middle age man move his hands in a weird way and manage to release his hand from Rahz's grip.

Rahz was surprised at the style used by the priest which didn't conformed to the outfit he was wearing. Rahz was no slouch and reacted with a kick to the abdomen but the priest spun around in a very fluid way and push Rahz with his shoulder.

Rahz was amazed by his opponent's skill and the attire that he was wearing underneath the priest robe. There was no s.h.i.+rt and just a pair of very lose yellow pants that allowed very comfortable movement. Around both wrist there were leather wristband with copper plates that provided a form of defense vs slicing weapons.

"What cla.s.s Are you?" asked Rahz while trying this time to grab the opponent in a hold.

Sigh...

" I am a monk from the Temple of the Rising Sun but I couldn't take it anymore... you can't drink, you can't eat meat, h.e.l.l all they do is pray all day long...I am too young you see and more than anything else I can't die a virgin".

" As you can see, this necklace is a great contribution to the Stop Being a Virgin fund, Amithaba!!!"

Rahz didn't have any words to describe his opponent but he was having fun in this sparring match.

n.o.body else in the group wanted to step in and just let them have some fun. Move after move, the monk's disguise was starting to come off and the face of a 15 year old teenager of the human race appeared in front of everyone.

"How come a Pre-Evolve warrior can keep up with my speed... What are you? "

The monk couldn't stay around anymore as people were coming around and if his disguise was discovered he would have to leave the city. No matter how fun the sparring was he had to go, lowering his center of gravity he activated the combat art Charging Tiger. Rahz was. .h.i.t in his stomach by the monks shoulder and knock of his feet. The monk was prepared to made a run for it but before he could get some distance he was lifted from the floor by a powerful force.

"You can leave but that necklace needs to stay" Naturally the person that step in to get the necklace was Rhaen. After taking the necklace from the monk, he toss a gold coin at the kid and turn around to see how Rahz was doing.

The monk didn't know what to say so he gave Rhaen the same respectful bow he would give a senior priest from his sect and left.

Rhaen help his son up and returned the necklace. Rahz looked around to see were the monk was but he was gone.

"Don't worry if fates wills it you will see each other again".

Rahz stood up and placed the tooth around his neck once more but he couldn't stop thinking about the previous fight.

"The movement skills of that guy were superb it was like fighting the ocean ever changing and adaptable".

Rhaen heard his son's statement and agreed 100% with it, he knew that the Fighters from the Temple of the Rising Sun had a secret mission that n.o.body knew about and only those about to have their third evolution could leave the sect and tour the world to get experience.

The group continued walking and arrived at the tent set up by the slave trader and to their pleasant surprise they were greeted very cordially and showed inside.

"How can I help you gentleman this wonderful morning"

Rhaen took the lead and told the slave trader that they were interested in the dark elf girl from the previous day and asked for a background story.

It was very common for buyers to investigate the background of an item before investing money into it. They need it to know if what they were getting was a hot potato that could bring ruin to their family.

"The dark elf girl was the only survivor of an old clan that was destroyed recently by the joined effort of a couple of troll and ogre tribes lead by third evolution cla.s.ses. She actually found us in another region and requested to be sold in the last stop of our trading route as payment for our help. Her starting price will be 100 gold coins but I am confident the final price would be in the 1000s. She is a first evolution defiler and her apt.i.tude towards the cla.s.s is like nothing I ever seen".
