Ryu was sitting in the living room in Arya's house and watching business news at the television when it reported about the much awaited 21st birthday of the only daughter of their country's Field Marshall and business tyc.o.o.n, construction magnate Mr. Chan. It was Keira's father, his clever and helpful blind date before.

The Ken Family was also invited there. Mrs. and Mr. Chan were an a.s.sociate of his parents so it was expected that they will attend the said celebration.

"Let's see if you're confident enough to show your face in there," he hissed as he smirked.

"Who's your enemy there in the TV Big Bro?" It was Reese who was eating chocolates. She sat beside Ryu and watched the screen.

Then she added, "It's the news channel… I thought you're watching a good movie or something and reacting like mom and dad. Whenever they hate what the leads are doing or whenever they are so much into the movie they will hiss or comment as if they were the one inside the television. You look also like that... Talking alone while watching."

Reese commented blankly as she continued to ponder on her chocolates.

Ryu creased his forehead seeing Reese has so many chocolate smudges on her mouth. She either ate many or was merely a clumsy eater.

"How many chocolates did you eat already? Did you know that eating too many chocolate will make you toothless?" He said with an arched eyebrow.

Reese eyes widened in disbelief and said, "Are you the nagging type of person like my dad? I won't marry someone like you in the future then. I hate people who nag..."

Ryu laughed and said teasingly, "You're so cute, come here and give me some chocolates. It's not nagging; I'm just concerned because you look pretty with nice teeth. What will happen if you lost some? How will you look then without those pretty white teeth of yours?"

The thought of her face without teeth made her panic…

"Ssshhh… I will only eat one. Here, take it…" Reese said while she pouted her lips.

Ryu laughed and pinched her nose, "Okay just finish that one and don't get more chocolate to eat. That's enough already for the day." He said smiling.

"Big Bro, we will go at the beach tomorrow for a picnic and swim. Are you coming with us?" asked Reese suddenly while Ryu was wiping out her chocolate smudges on her mouth with a tissue.

"Of course I am going with you guys," Ryu said smiling.

"By the way, where's your big sis?" Ryu asked since he did not see Arya inside the house ever since he walked out of their room after taking a bath.

"She's outside at the backyard; she's probably talking and looking after her babies right now." Reese answered plainly then she got the remote from the table.

"Babies?" Ryu asked with a confused face.

Reese pouted her lips and said, "Her plants and flowers. She called them babies.

"Big Bro, can I watch animated movies? Are you still watching?" Reese asked smiling.

"Nope, I'll go check your big sis and her babies. Go on and watch," Ryu answered as he stood up and walked outside to look for Arya.

Arya was at the backyard garden and like Reese said, she was watering the plants while talking to them.

"Did you miss me guys? Wow you look good. Mom is taking care of my babies so well," Ryu heard Arya's cheerful voice and he laughed quietly as he watched her with amus.e.m.e.nt.

He saw her smell some of the blooming flowers…

She looked so messed-up. Her hair was tied in a loose bun with strands of hair flanking the couture of her face…. she looked stinky with droplets of sweat all over her face. In short she hadn't taken a bath yet.

As Ryu watched Arya from a distance, he could not help but still be mesmerized by her raw looks and her love towards her plants. In Ryu's eyes she looked stunning and he just wanted to rush to her and scoop her in his embrace.

He quietly walked towards her and suddenly hugged her tightly from behind.

"Hmm…"

"Hey, I'm stinking and sticky… Get away. Shoo…" said Arya who quickly tried to escape from Ryu's embrace since she was sweating because of the sun while watering her babies.

However, Ryu held her tighter as he buried his face on her neck and inhaled her scent.

"You smell good to me. No perfume in the world can compare and beat the body scent don't you know," Ryu murmured as he rested his chin on her shoulder.

"So these are your beautiful colorful babies? Hmm, grandpa will be very happy with you if you can take good care of my grandma's garden in the mansion. By the way after our honeymoon, we will stay at the ancestral mansion for two months. It's our family's tradition for every Ken after their marriage."

"Well, if you enjoy staying there, we can settle there for good like mom and dad." Ryu explained while he gently swayed Arya as they circled around the garden still stuck with each other.

"Alright, it's a good custom to get acquainted with the family and vice versa…and I really hope they like me." Arya muttered as she felt the sudden nervousness thinking about the day when she will meet Ryu's family.

"I'm sure they will like you. You are a very caring and considerate girl with strong personality, they will love you a lot infact. Hmmm. Alright… tell me…. Do you have a particular favorite from your babies?" Ryu asked while he sniffed Arya and showered her neck with kisses.

"That tickles stop! I won't tell if you don't stop that, it tickles… luv!!!" Arya was in high pitch combined with giggling as she spoke.

When Ryu stopped, she walked towards the star-like blooms that added splashes of purple, pink and violet and said, "These Asters are my favorite because they represent love and patience."

"Hmm so these flowers are like me full of love and patience don't you think?" Ryu whispered in Arya's ear.

Arya sigh before she turned around to look at Ryu and said, "Hmm yeah you can say that and I'm so grateful for that love that you have given me and for the patience with which you waited for me and kept me in your heart."
