Five days had pa.s.sed since I had left the ruined city with Nero, and many things have happened.

First and most important, I have reached the limit; it happened yesterday. A little quicker than I had thought, but not surprising seeing the sheer number of Grimms I am seeing on the road to the mist valley.

Nero had even seen Earth Sovereign and had asked me to hide.

It moved too fast, that I don't know whether it had sensed me from where it was, or didn't care for a little Sovereign.

I didn't care; all I care about was that I didn't die.

Now that I had reached the limit, I am focusing more on the other things. Like my inheritance, I had even stopped my clone from practicing the artifice and made it work on the inheritance.

With six of them working on inheritance at a time dilution of three times; they will be finished soon.

Soon as two-three days soon, which left only treatments. For which I am taking a mid-day break. The days are here 40% bigger and with little risk, I could use treatments three times a day.

I need them to produce enough of them, that it will last me till I make a breakthrough into the Sovereign stage.

It is why I want to make a breakthrough; with the breakthrough, I will be able to kill the Grimms at a higher level, which means I will get higher-level resources with the growth energy they produce.

He is sensing twenty-nine presences, with nineteen Grimms and twelve natives and they are attacking each other, but something else.

I first thought the natives were traitors, but they were not. They are two different groups, and they seemed to be very cautious of each other. Though, I am not completely sure, since Nero is showing what he is sensing, and it is all blurry.

There are Peak Sovereigns there; three Grimms and two natives, with others being at lower levels.

They are underground and the area they are in wards off soul sense. If not for Nero's abilities, I wouldn't have sensed them. This means others wouldn't have sensed them, but still nearly thirty Sovereigns from both sides have gathered there.

Over fifteen minutes and many dangerous turns, Nero had reached the place where the Grimms and natives gathered.

As I had seen through Nero, they are attacking an energy s.h.i.+eld, which seemed to hold a tree on the other side. I couldn't see what kind of tree is on the other side, but it must be something important to see them attacking together, forgetting their differences.

I didn't waste any time and moved toward it.

It would be dangerous to go there with Peak Grimm and natives who belong to the organization, but the tree had piqued my interest.

Someone seemed to have used the 'Agnors method,' trying to break the dome. They could have used the cla.s.sic one, but one needs to have a deep knowledge of runes for that.

Agnors' method is good, but it needs the aid of brute strength. As how these people are doing and looking at energy, it seemed like they have been doing this for more than a day.

"Humans don't just look. Come and help us," shouted the blue-horned man.

I immediately appeared by the native side and begin hitting the large dome of energy. 

"What is inside?" I asked the purple skin man beside me. "You have come here, and you don't know?" he asked back.

"I only saw the entrance and decided to explore it," I answered sheepishly, and the purple-skinned man rolled his eyes. "A taslkal tree is there, and it is at the Earth Sovereign stage," he said with excitement in his eyes.

For a moment, I was disappointed.

Taslkal tree is rare and if I didn't have something that would give the same benefit as it. I would have been very excited. Still, I am excited when I heard it is an Earth Sovereign tree, which means the fruits will also be at Earth Sovereign.

They will be very useful to me in my Sovereign breakthrough and also as an alchemical ingredient.

It had many uses in alchemy.

It is quite regrettable that it would take a few hours off my journey, but I couldn't just go back now. It had its own risks, especially when Peak Sovereigns were involved.

If I am going back, I might have even better, and they might come at me. It is a risk I couldn't take. Nor, I could reveal; I have a way to solve it, that is. .h.i.tting it primitively.

It is not something one could sense easily. As it is already part of the energy of this world, which makes its detection even harder.
