Chapter 3503 Danger

I washed the dishes and put them back into my core before walking to the couch and lying down.

A moment later, I am at my core, beside my clone on a second continent.

My clone is looking at three meta-scans of the three people. It is not just the strings, I had released in the battle, but also the seals. I had sent them into the three, the moment I entered the battle.

It is the first time I have released them since joining Tor.

I had not done that even during the mission, fearing someone might be looking. Here, I do not have to fear; it is Sky-grade ruin and while the Prime could enter, sealing their power, they couldn't hide the presence well.

At least from me.

I am confident that, if Prime is snooping here, I will feel them.

I pushed that thought away and looked at the trove of data in front of me. The meta-scans are filled with the data I need.

It is why, I loved to collect data on those fighting. There, they reveal all their secrets to me.

I have less than a hundred of these samples and I wish to collect them in thousands. It is a challenge, but one I am excited to complete.

The troves of data will help me a lot in the creation of inheritance and make my breakthroughs safer. Which will be dangerous in the long future, but I will use every means to make it as safe as possible.

I studied the data for a couple of minutes before looking at the other two clones on the first continent, both of them are busy doing their jobs.

I would love to join them, but there are more pressing things I have to do.

I appeared at the door of the library and entered inside, before walking to the inheritance. Where I directed my clones for an hour, before coming back to my desk.

I have a lot of work, I have to finish and even with time dilation, it will be a challenge.

I didn't waste any time and opened the books and started studying them to find a way to solve the problem in front of me.

Every day, the lessons are getting harder. I have to really focus and give hours to solve the problem. Three days ago, I had remained for over twenty-four hours and only slept for two and a half hours.

Fourteen and a half hours pa.s.sed when I finally got up from the desk and there was a smile on my face.

I had finished the work, and I did it in less time than I had thought.

Since I had time; I went out and worked with my clone on alchemy, till it was time for me to sleep.

"Let's got going," I said to myself as I looked at the faint rays of dawn.

I plan to reach my destination by tomorrow. It didn't matter to me if I didn't get there on time, as long as I get enough Grimms on the way; I will be happy.

It is why, I had reduced my speed by nearly half for better stealth.

The Grimms begin to travel out of their area. I saw the Earth Sovereign Grimms yesterday, which means there will be Sovereigns and Sky Sovereign Grimm will be travelling out.

I don't want to be caught by the Sky Sovereign Grimms. It was the worst outcome I could hope to have.

I had just thought that when the expressions on my face changed, I stopped in my tracks and many of the stealth formation activated.

I didn't hide in trees or lie on the ground. I remained where I was and I sealed everything and even activated formation for a short moment, which sucked even the tiniest bit of aura, that might have leaked from me.

One and a half seconds later, I felt the powerful soul sense touch me.

It is faint but powerful. It is from the Grimm Sky Sovereign, flying a few miles away from me.

I am freaking scared right now. If it discovered me, it would be game over. I don't want to die so early, I haven't even seen my family and till I do, I will use every means, I have to survive.

The soul sense stayed around my area for a fraction of a second before it moved away.

Seeing that, I wanted to take a sigh of relief, but I didn't let myself do even that.

I stayed frozen in my spots for over two minutes, till all the soul waves confirmed that the Grimms had left. Only then did I unlock my movements and power and took a sigh with relief.

'f.u.c.k, I nearly died,' I thought as I placed my hand on the tree for the support.

For a moment, I thought I would get discovered and die. Unfortunately, my stealth method worked, and I survived.

I calmed myself down for another minute before I resumed my journey.

It will be extremely dangerous going forward and part of my mind wants me to return, but I didn't. Yes, it is extremely risky, but it will also be beneficial for me, and I am willing to accept any risks that come with it.

However, I had reduced my speed even further and activated a few more formations.

It will delay me by a lot, but I do not care. My safety is paramount and a delay of a few hours or even a day, wouldn't affect things much.

A few hours pa.s.sed, and I didn't come across any Grimms, not even Sovereigns, which is quite disappointing.

I wanted to fight Grimms, probably the ones with bloodline, but I will even take even those with bloodline.

They offer the essence roses and also storages.

I have opened the storages of two Grimms and they have quite good things there and I want to collect at least a few hundred of them, while I am in this ruin.
