I stepped into the seventh door, entering another ma.s.sive hall.

Till, now I had entered into six halls, housing the six pools. All of them are amazing.

I had not thought I needed those things, till I had entered them. They are helping me so comprehensively; that it has blown my mind.

"This is Pool of Kamid. It will concentrate your physical powers," she informed as usual.

I nodded and walked toward it slowly while making changes inside me. It took me a little over a minute before I stepped into the grey oil pool.

As usual, I sat in the center and closed my eyes.

A few seconds later, I gritted my teeth as pain coursed through my body.

Not every pool offers a spa-like experience. Some pools are painful. Some give small pain, while some like this one provide pain great enough that it makes me want to grit my teeth.

I bore it as seeing how it was pus.h.i.+ng my physical power together, making it more concentrated.

The dance also does that, but its effects are lighter as it does other things too, while this oil is doing only one thing and one thing only.

It's quite painful, but I bore it, seeing the visible changes happening to me.

After going through the six pools, I sensed ma.s.sive changes in me. They are becoming more useful, after the challenges of the castle, that squeezed out the potential in one.

I kept myself calm, while I felt like being squeezed by two hundred-story tall metallic plates. Painful as it may be, I am seeing the changes that are happening to me. There is a meta-scan, that shows every change I am going through.

It is what makes me smile despite bearing such a ma.s.sive pain.

Time pa.s.sed, and I bore everything that was coming at me and doing it with a smile.

Despite the pain, not for a single moment. I thought about getting out. The pain is a temporary thing, while the result the pool will be provided would be permanent.

I have a feeling, that I might need them, sooner than I had thought.

Soon an hour pa.s.sed, and things became painful. The force is going deeper and deeper into me, bringing me more and more pain.

It had even wiped away, that smile on my face, but I don't care. I am not going to leave before I get all the benefits from this pool; it won't matter how much the pain increases.

Two hours pa.s.sed, and I am thinking about changing that statement.

The pain is so great that I want to scream. The only reason, I am not is because I don't want to scream while another person is in the room with me.

I rather, she did not hear them, and the only way to make sure that is not to scream at all.

It was past three and a half hours when suddenly the pressure on me began to lessen and with me, the pain.

Seeing that, I got up and sighed in relief, before walking out of it, with oil sliding down my body. When I got out of the pool, there was not even a drop on me.

Armor appeared on my body, and I turned to Hayat. Seeing her, a surprise couldn't help, but appear on my face.

Every time, I came out of the pool. She had already solved the formation. She would simply push the door away, but now she is still solving it.

I walked toward her, but stopped a safe distance away.

I do not want to be close to her; I have been getting a feeling since I came here. I don't know whether it is from here or this place, but I want to be as careful as possible.

her.

Entering into another ma.s.sive hall.

"This is Pool of Dasor. It will concentrate your soul powers," she stated.

It is like the pool, earlier, which concentrates on physical power. It concentrates the soul's power.

I nodded and looked toward the gate. This is the one, I have to solve, but I will do it after I finish with the pool.

Soon, I reached the pool, which had translucent blood-red water. I stepped inside and nearly froze.

"It's going to be painful," I said and took another step inside and then another, with each getting more painful than the others.

Finally, I reached the center and the real pain began.

I had expected greater pain than physical, but it was more than I had.

In the first minute, I am feeling such pain that I felt in the last minute of an earlier challenge before it started to lessen.

I wanted to scream with everything I had, but I bore it with greeted teeth.

With the force I am gritting, I felt like, I might grit them to the powder.

Minutes pa.s.sed and m.u.f.fled screams began to come out of my mouth. I tried to stay silent, but the pain was too great, and m.u.f.fled screams began to come out of me.

It's hard to stop them, and if the pain is kept increasing. It won't be long before I would need

to scream.

Seconds felt like minutes, but I continued bearing.

An hour pa.s.sed, and I felt like, I had been here for weeks, but it was far from over, and I was at

my limit.

I don't know. If I could even last, till the end.
