It let out another cry and even denser lightning than before begins to swim across its wings.

It flapped them down.

Shooting the powerful lightning bolts to the ground. They are more powerful than earlier, and it scared me, but I focused on the screen in front of me.

I am tapping across them fast. Seeing the data, of the attack flas.h.i.+ng in front of me.

It took a fraction of a seconds for the lightning bolts to hit the ground again. Pulverize it, sent its power down, melting everything in its path.

Soon, the attack hit my abode, but this time, I was more prepared.

My abode bore it and melted, before getting even deeper into the ground. Under the cloak of its own attack.

Cry!

The monster looked and it didn't sense anything. So, it had attacked again.

This time, I was in a much better position and was able to defend against it well. The attack after that barely touched me due to how deep, I had gone in the ground.

The fifth attack and onward. My abode remained untouched, while the monster raged in fury.

Three more attacks came. Each one was powerful enough to make me shudder at the heart, but not a single one had been able to touch me.

I usually don't like to take my abode so deep.

Since it closes the ways to leave sneakily, but right now, the underground is the safest place for me. Here, the monster couldn't touch me despite all its power.

Crryyyyy!

It let out the loudest cry filled with frustration and anger, with lightning covering its wings densely.

I prepared myself for another attack but didn't come. The monster absorbed the lightning back and let out a loud cry before flying away.

Seeing that, I heaved a sigh of relief and slumped on the porch.

The monster didn't disappear. The b.a.s.t.a.r.d is smart; it only acted of leaving and erased its presence a few seconds later, before flying back.

Well, no matter what it does. It is not going to find me.

I kept an eye on it but stopped caring about it. Instead, I focused on another monster; this one inside me.

The lizard is struggling against its cage hard. attacking it with everything it has, but it is futile. Though, my clone didn't do anything to stop it.

Instead, it is making it even angry to collect more data from it.

I only glance at it, before focusing back on the bird. I did it for a few minutes, before getting up from my spot and walking into the shower.

When I returned fifteen minutes later. It was still looking at me while hiding.

I looked at the sky outside. It is getting darker.

If it hadn't disturbed the battle. I would have done with the monster by now and resumed my journey.

Resting in abode, only after getting out of its territory, but now it wouldn't be possible. I will need to stay here, till tomorrow.

I sighed and shook my head, before laying comfortably on the couch, before closing my eyes.

It was a few hours later when I opened them and walked into the kitchen. A moment later, a delicious steaming dinner was in front of me.

I ate it alone.

When I am done. I washed the dishes and once again laid down on the couch.

I stayed there till midnight, before opening my eyes.

The first thing, I had looked at were the charts in front of me. The monster had left, but it had come back several times, the latest one was forty-three minutes ago.

I will track it till the morning before deciding my next course of action.

I closed the windows and walked toward the practice room. It's time for my practice. My heart begins to move fast in fear with every step, I take toward the practice room. Every session could be my last and I don't want to do it, but the reward is too big to not do it.

Finally, I reached the practice room and all the clothes on my disappeared.

I sat down in the center as I always do and began taking the deep breaths.

When I calmed down enough. I tapped on the window and began the practice as the suppression descended on me.

It took a barely minute before I began to feel the extremeness.

I could feel how, how close, I was to death. Making my body and soul scream at me to stop, but I didn't stop. It is not an option.

At every second, it became worse and worse as I walked closer and closer to the total collapse of my body and soul.

Practicing this method in such a condition is fighting the very instincts one is born with.

It's hard, with every part of part of your body wanting you to stop.

It felt like days had pa.s.sed, when finally, the circle formed and merged with the one, I had in my mind, while I began to fall down.

I could always feel the tide coming at me and in less than a second, it will take me.

As it happened; the nectar appeared in my mouth.

This time, it wasn't just nectar that appeared in my mouth. It's mixed with other things.

I don't want to mix those things with nectar, but I have a limited bottle of it, and I need it to last for at least six months. The maximum of this realm could stay open.

So, I am testing the nectar with different things, to increase, its power, which stabilizes me. This formula is the best one, I devised, but I will keep researching. I need more than best if I want to stretch the nectar for six months.

Now, I am really wis.h.i.+ng. I didn't drink the nectar for the sake of it.

If I hadn't, I wouldn't need to be worried about stretching it. It would have lasted me easily for six months without any problem.

These were the last thoughts in my mind before the tide of the subconscious took me.
