Chapter 4155: Fighting Prime I
I see an old man prime with seven cages in front of him. All of them filed with the bound Sky Sovereigns.
I am not looking at them. I am looking at two sovereigns bound in a contraption. Those two Sky Sovereigns belong to the Tor.
It is not the first time, me seeing this, but it is my first time seeing members of tor in such a terrible state.
It filled me with bubbling rage, that left me all shaking.
The rage isn't the only thing I am feeling. There is also a guild; it is a lot more than rage.
People of Tor suffered because of me. Far worse than this and many died. All of their deaths are on me; they died because of me.
I took a deep breath and controlled myself before I began flying. I did not move directly toward the old man, but a few minutes later, his soul sense found me.
'Little Sky Sovereign, come here,' rang the voice in my mind.
A surprise appeared in my eyes before an alarm flashed in there, and I burst in speed.
'You can not run away!' said the old man with a laugh as he stopped torturing those two and shot toward me with incredible speed.
I am taking a ma.s.sive risk here, but I let my people die. The guild will be too much. I won't be able to bear it.
Over a minute and a half pa.s.sed and when he caught up to me and stopped in front of me.
The old man is tall. Nearly seven feet tall, with whitish skin and light blue scales covering him here and there.
He is likely half blood, and I could already guess the one race he belongs to, because of those blue scales.
They are distinctive.
"You are quite fast for the Sky Sovereign," he said.
"You are slightly stronger than me. It would be a waste of time for us to fight," I said, and a surprise appeared in the old man's eyes.
"Hahahaha!"
The surprise disappeared, and he started to laugh loudly. It took him a while to control himself and calm down.
"It seemed like little power you had gone over your head. Let me show the power of a prime," he said, and the next moment, a ma.s.sive ice lance shot toward me at, a really fast speed.
My eyes turned serious, and my thin, long sword appeared in my hand.
I watched the attack, till it appeared in front of me, before swinging my sword.
Rip!
A ripping sound rang out as my sword cleanly cut through the ice lance into two, before the grey fire spread over the two pieces of ice, burning them into nothing.
"I told you, the difference between isn't big. Fighting would be useless," I said, looking at his surprised eyes.
I didn't lie to this old man. He is an Initial Prime and stronger than me, but not by far. I could fight him, but killing him would be a challenge.
I could not use the string as there were eyes on me. There was one Prime, hiding not far from where he was torturing.
"Little b.a.s.t.a.r.d. Let me show you the difference between a Sky Sovereign and the Prime," said the old man, with his cheeks reddening up in embarra.s.sment.
A moment later, a vast icy aura shot out of the old man. Even I am surprised by it.
He had revealed nearly all his strength. It seemed like, I had hurt his prime.
The old ones are like that. Especially the ones, who hadn't made any progress in a long while. They take offense to every action and word.
Burst 90%.
Seeing its power, I didn't hold back either and released my aura visibly. A faint surprise appeared in his eyes, seeing that before he had it.
"Die, you b.a.s.t.a.r.d!"
He roared loudly and came at me with ma.s.sive icy power around him, which seemed to affect the s.p.a.ce itself.
"Be ready to be the first prime to kill by me. You old wretch!" I roared back and short, toward him with grey flames covering every part of me.
These flames are nasty. They are sticky and really hot. It is hard to deal with them.
CLANNNG!
His icy blue spear clashed against my sword. Creating a shockwave powerful enough to form a spatial time.
Though, n.o.body is watching that.
We are watching each other. I have a grin on my face and shock on his.
Every movement I made toward him was calculated. From entering his soul, range to challenging him to keep my aura confusing so he wouldn't predict my power accurately.
I did it all, so he would fight, and now that he started. His huge prime won't let him stop. The challenge in front of me was to kill him, and I don't think I could without my strings, but I have to. I need to save those who are suffering, because of me.
It's been a while since I had fought such a battle.
I didn't even feel such pressure against the shaman, because we were alone, and I knew I had my s.h.i.+elds to save me.
I also had measures prepared that would stall him until I ran and hid. I won't be able to do that here with the second Prime watching my every move.
I have to kill him without using my abilities.
If I did, not only the information about my power would be spread, but people would also know that I have a soft spot for my organization.
They will use them more openly and I can't have that.
So, I can't let this old man leave this battle alive and he won't. I will use every speck of my power and every bit of skill; I have to kill him.
"You have made a grave mistake, you a bone of filth. I will kill and throw your body for monsters to eat!" I said, grinning.
"Die!"
He roared in anger and swung its spear toward me, which was aiming for my head.
I moved my sword, and his sphere tried to dodge and quite skillfully, at that, but I am not some green who wouldn't be able to deal with that.
CLANNNG!
I adjusted my sword, and it clashed against his spear. Stopping it from moving further toward me, before attacking him with my own attack.
