The old man moved his sphere and defended against my attack, striking me with his spear.

The moment he launched it. I knew the attack was different, and it was different.

A fraction of a second later, a beam of energy came out of its tip and moved toward me.

The beam is powerful and fast but in reality. It is far more powerful than it is showing. It contains ma.s.sive icy energies, which, even with his power, should have taken him at least a second to gather.

I moved my sword toward it while the grey fire burst out of it. Covering it.

Seeing that, his lips curved slightly unknowingly.

My sword clashed against the beam, and a loud bang rang out, with ma.s.sive ice-blue frost energy coming toward me like a blizzard with the power to freeze anything in its path.

Though before it could reach me. The grey flames moved toward it and spread over the blizzard.

They were not strong enough to stop it, but they did what I had expected them to do while I turned back and swung my sword again.

I defended the attack coming at me from above before moving my sword left and then right before launching my own attack, which it had defended.

He is silent, but I could feel the old man's anger through his attacks.

He wants to kill me and use every tactic, every type of attack he has, not using his full power.

'He likely knows about the one who was keeping his eyes on him,' I thought. I first thought he didn't, but his behavior is pointing toward him knowing.

If not, he would have used his full power to finish me off already, but till now, he has refrained from doing that.

Which is quite a dilemma for him. If he didn't use his full power, he would seem weak, the very thing he was trying to avoid.

From what I could see, the other Prime is more powerful than him. Not by much, but the other party is a stealth powerhouse. Dealing with them is always tricky.

I didn't say anything. Instead, I fought while all twelve of my clones watched and studied.

I am taking all the help I can get.

Though, I am not using what they are learning. It is not the time yet. I cannot let him know, I am learning about him far more than usual.

That will reduce my already low chances of killing him.

A minute pa.s.sed, and then another, and then another. When I sensed the new prime, it didn't take him long to sense us, but she wasn't much interested in our battle.

After watching for a few seconds, she flew away.

"See, the way you are fighting. Even the Prime wasn't interested in watching," I said right after a flash of relief appeared in his eyes, seeing her leave.

"Shut up!" he said with gritted teeth.

I didn't say anything further other than grinning, which made him even angrier.

I could feel he was at his limit. It won't be long; he will use his full power. I want him to wait for it longer, but I also want the old man angrier.

Ten minutes pa.s.sed, and we were still fighting.

The old man was using every trick under his sleeve, but not a single one was able to penetrate through my defenses.

I know very well it's not because of my skills and abilities but because he hasn't used his power yet. The moment he does, the real challenge will begin.

So powerful that it shook my very heart before it started beating wildly in excitement. The stakes were never so high for me.

everything they had.

I could escape from him if things become hard, but escaping from two Prims would be really

hard.

Not only to save those two but also to save me because I have pushed the old man so far that,
