Chapter 4158: Killing Second Prime
"We don't know where Zaar is, and even if we knew, we would not tell you!" said the girl. Hearing that, I grinned angrily, but inside, I felt joy.
They aren't the only ones. I have seen many like them, bound and getting tortured, but not a single one had opened their mouth in front of the enemy.
This is Tor.
"Well, it seemed like. I will have to torture it out of you and let me tell you. I am pretty good at torturing," I said angrily as I took out my kit.
"Do your worst!" challenged the man beside him.
Hun!
"Oh, I will," I replied as I picked up a bottle to remove the solution when I felt something behind.
"Die!" said the soft voice and saw the blade at my neck, with an elvish man appearing with a grin on his face.
A terror appeared on my face as its blade touched my neck.
When suddenly, it vanished, and there was confusion before surprise flashed in the eyes of the prime, followed by recognition and then terror.
Puch!
My blade pierced through his chest before sending a burst of energy inside, killing him.
A moment later, the body vanished, and it disappeared. With it, the pale blueness covering my skin had also vanished, and so was the weak aura.
The old man did give me injuries, but the injuries weren't serious.
It might seem like his energy spread, and it was, but only 1% of it, and the rest of it was mine. Creating the effect of his energy was doing.
It is for this reason I mocked the old man, till he showed his true power before showing weakness.
It may seem easy, but it wasn't. I had let his blades carve me as he wished.
He would have a good chance to kill me with those opportunities. He didn't because he wanted to play with me. Take revenge for all the mocking and insults I had given him. Then come this b.a.s.t.a.r.d. He was a stealthy type and came close when I killed the old man. He was quite cautious, but I gave him the reasons to attack while binding him with my strings. He was alone. I could do that without causing a suspicion.
As these people are in cages, all their powers are sealed.
Even if they weren't, they wouldn't have been able to see much, seeing how fast things had happened.
"Now, it is time to deal with you guys," I said, and the fear was apparent in their eyes.
"Save me. I am from Karis. I and my organization will remember this favor," said the man, and immediately two others followed while the members of Tor remained silent.
"I love favors," I replied, and hope lit up in their eyes, but the next moment appeared.
Syringes reached them before pus.h.i.+ng the liquid inside. It happened with all, including members of the Tor.
These syringes contain the special solution I synthesized. With the seed inside them, it will make them forget what happened in the past hour without leaving any side effects.
It will do such a good job that no method will be able to retrieve it. Including that of the primes.
Killing them all would have been much cheaper and efficient, but I'd rather not do that. Around ten minutes. I am finished dealing with them and wiping every sign of the battle before flying up in the sky and gathering the tide.
Right now, I don't want to do anything other than summon my abode.
I didn't do anything to the old man, but he saw me as Sky Sovereign and called me.
When I didn't, he attacked.
I could avoid him, but next time, I might come across someone who I cannot avoid, but that is not a reason to hide. If I did, I wouldn't be able to leave this realm at all.
Though, after the incident. I had become even more careful, and every time I stopped, I would send extra-long soul waves.
It immediately increased the time of my journey, but it also kept me safe. I was able to avoid a lot of dangers, including the one I am avoiding.
Another prime seemed to be capturing the Sky Sovereigns and scanning them forcefully. However, she didn't seem to have any other intention of doing other than that and letting them. Still, seeing that, I changed the direction and circ.u.mvented around her.
I came across a few other dangers before. Finally, I stopped as the sun began to go down.
I didn't have any plan to move in the night when I would come across even more dangerous primes.
I gently came down, but my feet didn't touch the ground. I looked around, and when my longest soul waves returned and saw the primes far away, I took out my abode and entered inside.
As always, I showered first but didn't eat immediately. Instead, I lay down and entered my
core.
I sat down in the library, and instead of working on my inheritance. I dug through my memory of the battle I had fought earlier.
"The prime is really something else," I said as I looked at the effect of the battle.
Miles and miles of it frozen. Even now, it is frozen. Though not for much longer, by ten or eleven, it will vanish. Whittled by the powerful energy of the world.
I had been very lucky in the battle that there were only two Primes, and their power wasn't
that special.
Suppose I had come across truly powerful ones that I had sensed. I wouldn't have been able to get away from them, no matter the trick I had played.
I watched for a few minutes before I started working on the inheritance.
I need to check it for every mistake. So, I would be able to break through the moment I
completed the first level of the dance of ukasanavor.
The place had become truly dangerous. I need to break through the Sky Sovereign to guarantee my survival.
Soon, it was nine, and I ate before coming back to my abode and working till midnight.
As usual, I stopped right at midnight and got out of my core before walking into the practice
room and starting the dance.
Hun!
The moment I started, it felt different.
