My sword pierced through his head. Killing him.

I sent the body into my core before turning to the woman. She didn't attack me angrily. Instead, she had stopped and was now looking at me.

"b.a.s.t.a.r.d, I will kill you!"

She didn't roar, but the other man did. He is angry, raging even the way his energy behaves.

'I hope you will hold him back!' I said to Carter, and I truly hope he does. If that man came at me, I would have to use everything I have.

I would rather not do it. Especially when there are two people watching us.

They didn't seem like they were cultists or belonged to this cultist organization. First, they are not wearing robes; second, they didn't produce a reaction one would see their allies die.

They looked before a smile appeared on their faces.

Still, I remain careful because these two are powerful. Especially the one looking from around the waist. That man is as powerful as those two fighting, or even more powerful.

The cultist fighting Carter tried to come toward me, but Carter stopped him.

It made me relieved, but I didn't take my eyes away from the woman in front of me. She might be looking at me, but she had harnessed her full power.

She is like a drawn string. She could come at me at any moment.

"Any intention to attack?" I asked with a smile and had crackling lightning covering my sword for a moment.

She didn't react to provocation and instead kept looking at me.

I looked at her and didn't move my sword forward. Instead, a round s.h.i.+eld appeared in front of me.

It is as big as me and beautiful. It is purple, with murals of nymphs and other spirits drawn on

it.

Seeing that, she appeared behind me and swung her spear at a very fast speed, but I moved my s.h.i.+eld toward it, before it could strike.

CLANNNNG!

The spear clashed with the power of the Law of the Spear. Creating a shockwave that forced the very s.p.a.ce to move it while making me take a step back.

"Law of Spear, interesting," I said, while wiping the blood from the corner of my lips.

The weapon laws are powerful.

Thankfully, she had barely comprehended it.

If her comprehension had been as powerful as Carter's. I wouldn't be making the act of taking a step back and the blood leaking through my lips.

She is powerful, alright, but it is my s.h.i.+eld. I had defended her attacks with.

Her comprehension of the law would need to be much greater than breach my s.h.i.+eld. Right now, her comprehension of her law is the same as mine.

Unfortunately, I can only comprehend them. I could not use their power.

She kept looking at me for three seconds before she moved and appeared in front of me and attacked.

I once again defended with blood leaking out of my lips while taking steps back.

This time. She didn't wait for me. Instead, she appeared behind and attacked with greater power than before.

CLANNNNG CLANNNNG CLANNNNG!

I defended, and she attacked again and appeared on top of me. My s.h.i.+eld moved up and defended before it moved in front of me and defended once more.

It defended with the attack. Moving through the blurring speed.

There are also a few formations. That makes that effect visually better.

s.h.i.+elds are my most powerful moves. It is also a move I use as Micheal Zaar.

Thankfully, half of the people have such defensive methods. The only thing I have to do is make it as different from the old s.h.i.+elds.

I kept it round as before, but I made it more s.h.i.+eld-like. Like a real s.h.i.+eld.

I also stopped with the invisibility and moved it differently. It seemed to be working as I saw the surprise in the eyes of those watching, but not the connection.

It made me relieved.

She continued to attack while I defended with my s.h.i.+eld when she launched another attack.

Hundreds of spears materialized around me. All made of lightning and covered in the power of the law of spear.

It is one dangerous attack. It made me raise my sword up while my s.h.i.+eld continued to defend against her attacks, which hadn't stopped.

As the spears crossed halfway distance, my s.h.i.+eld became twice as big.

CLANNNNG CLANNNNG CLANNNNG!

Finally, they reached, and my sword clashed against the first spear before clas.h.i.+ng against the second and third. While I did that, she continued attacking me.

I defended against her with the s.h.i.+eld, but also used its size to defend against some of the

spears.

I defended myself, but I showed that they were affecting me by taking the steps back and

bleeding.

Even took the risk of letting one graze through my shoulder. As it didn't, it sent all its power into me, including the power of the law, which the strings quickly absorbed.

Finally, my sword clashed against the last spear. Destroying it before turning to the woman,

who is still attacking.

Like always, there was no reply. Instead, she kept attacking her giant form.

I defended, looking at every minute movement. The laws make everything tricky; I need to be

ready to defend against them.

Suddenly, she stopped, and she wasn't the only one who had stopped.

The other Prime stopped a moment before her.

"b.a.s.t.a.r.d, the three-line cult would not forget what you did. We will hunt you down and kill

you," said the man before flying away from Carter.

The woman joined him a second later. I watched flew away before flying toward Carter.

"You have just made a powerful cult your enemy by killing their member," he said, with his

eyes serious.

To be honest, I am surprised.

In Tor, every death of cultists is celebrated. There are no cultists that are off limits, but other

organizations are different.

Especially Prime Grade ones.

They thought deeply before doing anything to the members of cults, especially the powerful

ones.

"It was bound to happen," I replied with a shrug.
