Never Forget Me 13 Memories Continued

Su Jin Wei's parents grabbed him and hugged him close. It took everything in him to not want to wiggle out of their embrace, he hated being touched. He tolerated it from very few people, his mother, father, grandparents, and Modesty.

"Oh, Su Jin Wei, Modesty, and her parents have been in a car accident."

Su Jin Wei's young heart seized.

"Her parents have died, but Modesty is in a coma. They don't know if she will make it."

Su Jin Wei sat down in one of the living room chairs. A lone tear slid down his young face, fear that the one he loved would die. 'This can't be' He thought to himself 'they were supposed to be meeting up tonight. She was supposed to be practicing her Mandarin with him.'

He loved practicing Mandarin with Modesty because it allowed him to spend at least two hours of every day with her. Su Jin loved being around Modesty and would use any excuse he could to do so. Sometimes they would skip the lesson and go do something fun, just seeing the smile on her face was worth it to him.

Now to think that he may never see that smile again was like a punch to his gut. The temperature in the room dropped thirty degrees, it was freezing and mother Su started to rub her arms against the sudden chill. She turned to look at her husband who was staring at there son, with sudden understanding in his eyes.

"What happened?"
