Never Forget Me 49 Oh I Don't Drink

Modesty arrived back home from work later than usual. She was glad she grabbed lunch with Sun Xi Zhao because the endless meetings would have never allowed her to take a single bite. Then she had a ton of doc.u.ments on her desk that she had to go through plus her uncle had called her again this was the seventh time in less than a week. He seemed upset and tired, he was going to ask her some questions but then her aunt woke up and hopped on the call. She was so happy to finally get to talk to Modesty and said how she missed her so much. Modesty went straight into the bathroom showered and changed into casual clothes glad it was the weekend.

As Modesty walked out of the bathroom Su Jin Wei was walking into the room.

"I'm glad you're finally home, I want to go out for dinner."

Modesty nodded and was glad that she put on casual clothes instead of her pajamas. They headed out to the restaurant, and Su Jin Wei had Son Lei drive instead of driving them himself. Modesty was going to ask why but as they were being seated in the private dining room she just didn't have the energy. Su Jin Wei smiled, he saw that Modesty was a little more tired than usual and he decided to put his plan into action. They ordered and Su Jin Wei ordered a cup of sake for Modesty. As it was being poured Modesty tried to stop the waiter. "Oh, no I don't drink." The waiter finished pouring the cup then looked at Su Jin Wei who nodded before he walked away.
