Modesty thought a little longer she did love Su Jin Wei, she had come to terms with it a while ago. But, would that really be the basis of marriage if he didn't love her? Caring for someone and loving them were two different things and she definitely knew that Su Jin Wei cared for her, but love? Modesty thought about for a little while longer, she didn't think that Su Jin Wei would ask her to marry him if he didn't love her
"Why not, you're right we're already a couple" Su Jin Wei gave her a lopsided grin, "let's go."
Modesty just hoped that she didn't later come to regret this. They drove to the civil affairs bureau. Them getting married was a lot more difficult with Modesty being from another country. But, when they found out it was Su JIn Wei from Su corporation. Things started to go a little bit easier for them, they signed their names and took their photos. Then they were both given a red book, Modesty looked at the photo in the book. She couldn't believe that she was married and to Su Jin Wei. As they got into the car to return home, an ugly thought reared itself in Modesty's head.
'What if she regained her memories and found out that she never liked Su Jin Wei? What if she remembered that he was a part of all of this or his father? Could she continue being together with him? She loved Su Jin Wei but what if this was a clever plan by him to keep her from her memories?'
This was a horrible thought for her, what would it mean for her and Su Jin Wei? Modesty couldn't believe that it took her this long and a marriage to start wondering about Su Jin Wei's intentions towards her. She was trying to decide if she wanted to speak to him about it. She was starting to wonder should she do an investigation on Su Jin Wei. She loved him and cared about him, but did she trust what he was saying? What was it about him that made her wait for so long to think he may be involved? If he wasn't involved, was his family? Modesty didn't know who she could trust.
