Sun Xi Zhao's mother turned the chair around slowly and looked at her son.
"I'm terrible. I'm wondering why you dating a woman and haven't told me about her.I'm wondering why all my friends know you're dating her but not me? I'm wondering why she's with you all over social media and I don't even know this girls name. Also, have you told her about your little issues."
Sun Xi Zhao flinched. His mom saw him and knew that she hit the nail on the head, he hadn't told her. It was difficult for her as a mother to understand why her son was the way he was. But, after so many years she accepted it and still loved him. She just wanted him to be able to find a woman that could accept him as he was and still love him. Then hopefully she would get some grandbabies.
"Mother I will tell her eventually. It's just."
Sun Xi Zhao hesitated a little before continuing.
"I really like her."
Sun Xi Zhao slumped into the chair in front of his desk.
"She is so different, so special, she makes me smile."
Rong Qi Qing came around the desk and slid her hand up Sun Xi Zhao's cheek. He tilted his head up and she saw the sadness with a tinge happiness in his eyes, that same happiness that he always felt when he met someone new. He hadn't met anyone new in a very, very long time, in a way she was happy about this. But, this also made her feel even more gloomy because it always ended the same way.
"If she likes you, then when you tell her she will understand."
Sun Xi Zhao nodded, his mother was right he really needed to talk to Modesty about it. He could only hope and pray that she understood his special situation. If she did then he knew that she was truly the woman for him.
"So, tell me about this potential girl that you like. I hate having to hear things second hand from my friends."
Rong Qi Qing sat down in the chair across from Sun Xi Zhao. He immediately smiled and it lit up his eyes as he began to speak to his mother about Modesty.
