Zhang Tianyu asked that his aide and the bodyguards wait outside, while he walked into the office of the PR specialist Mao Kaquiang.

Greetings was exchanged by both men, afterwards the company President was shown a seat by a red simple sofa, the manager soon took a seat across from Zhang Tianyu.
"President Zhang, I want to know the outcome you are looking with the press release. Many would doubt your innocence regarding Miss Zhang's sudden demise."

The straight forward way at which Mr Mao addressed the President of Zhang Corporation, made Zhang Tianyu stiffen in annoyance.

"Mi died from complications during surgery, the surgeon a Dr w.a.n.g told me that she bled to death despite efforts taken to preserve her life. If anyone doubts my intentions, the death certificate and medical records will prove otherwise."

The deadpan look on Mao Kaquiang didn't change after listening to what Zhang Tianyu said.

"Tell me what went through your mind when Miss Zhang died and how you are feeling right now."

"Do I really have to?"

"Yes, President Zhang I need you to start talking, that will help my team and I come up with a statement and counterattack what the press will be sending you."

Mao Kaquiang had a no nonsense look, he was now in his elements and fawning over the company President wasn't going to help Zhang Tianyu in any way.

A deep sigh came from Zhang Tianyu before opening up to the company's number one PR support specialist, Mao Kequiang, who wore a corporate black with a silver tie and leather pointed shoes, he had a regular haircut showing grey sideburns. A smart dark watch rested on his left wrist, while sprouting a thin mustache across his mouth.

"The moment the doctor told me that Mi was dead, I felt this unexplainable sense of relief within me, which pa.s.sed as soon as it came. To put my mind at rest, I checked and saw she was in fact no longer alive. I felt choked up on seeing her lifeless body, did I really want her to die? I kept asking myself if that was what I really wanted, but truth be told I felt happy and sad, its difficult to fully put what I felt into words."

"First, you were happy she died and next, you felt guilty for being happy about her death. That shows you had remorse and your conscience is there. I'll use that to build the image of an uncle who treasures his niece and we can set up a foundation to help young women get better healthcare. What do you think?"

"Why must I parade myself as a caring person? She's dead already, what more do the press want?! Blood?!"

"Good question, don't think for once the press are your friends, they have a job just like you and will do anything to provide food on the table. Don't think they will bat an eye when drawing blood from you as they come after you and Zhang Corporation. All sort of conspiracy theories will be aired at every outlet possible!"

The last statement was to call the attention of Zhang Tianyu to the seriousness of Zhang heiress's death, whether or natural causes or not, the press will be seeking answers first from the closest surviving relative, before going enma.s.s to the police.

After an intense rubbing of the mind lasting about twenty minutes, the promise to bring a written statement for the press conference and call the media outlets affiliated with Zhang Corporation to Zhang Tianyu was made by Mao Kequiang. The lesser man curtesied to the President of Zhang Corporation, only to raise his head after Zhang Tianyu left his office.

Duan Mansion

There is one thing the rich always pride themselves on, which is knowing when to draw the line with those they consider inferior to them. In this case Huang Zilin was the perfect scapegoat that Director Duan and his wife were going to make use of, in the light of the charade of a planned dinner with the Duans.

The room she was shown by one of the maids was actually the quarters of the maids and butlers of the Duan family. The first thought that came to Huang Zilin's mind as she walked out of the main house outside, was that there was a separate building for the guests at the Duan mansion, it was when they got to the front of a plain building far away from where she came out from, that was when it clicked to her that something was amiss.

"Where am I? Are you sure that this is the right place? Isn't my room at the guest house?"

Her inquiry was met by laughter of derision, as one of them said, "What are you talking about? Are you not here to "take care" of Master Feng?"

What they meant by take care of, was that Huang Zilin was the plaything of Duan Feng and he only brought her to be put to use as one of the maids of the Duan family.

"Yes, I'm taking care of him already, but this place doesn't seem befitting enough for me to stay in..."

One of the three maids that came with them, the most feisty of them, raised her hand to land a slap across Huang Zilin's face.

"See this idiot thinking that she's a somebody! We've been nice enough already, you better get in before I give you another slap! So stupid!"

The shock of being spoken to rudely and slapped by a common servant girl whose age was close to hers, made Huang Zilin snap, "Are you mad?! How dare you talk to me that way?!"

That was when she her hand raised in retaliation, but the rest of them had already saw what she was about to do, halting her action by grabbing at her hands, followed by rains of beatings that was almost unending. Bruised and dirty all over, Huang Zilin was dragged into the servant quarters to begin her new life as the maid of the Duans.
