She came here for advice, not to have water poured on her. So when it happened, it surprised Yumeko.

"Woahh? Yumeko-chan, are you okay?" Selia asked.

"Why did you do that?"

"This att.i.tude of yours has always bothered me. Do you think Atsuya doesn't stress out regarding you? Do you think he isn't thinking of ways to make you happy? You're always comparing him to Haruka; obviously, he stresses. And what, because Haruka and you got intimate. Are you actually at a loss? Don't make me laugh." Kanna glared harshly at her.

Once the girl rushed off, Kanna sat back on the chair annoyed.
"Yumeko-chan will not understand if you don't tell her. Just tell her you like Harukkun…" Selia said.

Kanna exhaled deeply, as she lit her cigarette.

"It's not that easy. I know all Haruka wants is a person to sleep with, and also, if he does end up liking someone…"

Selia nodded, "I noticed it too… Will it become a problem?"

"I hope not, as much as I hate to admit it. I enjoy hanging out with your brats." Kanna said.

"I discussed it with Atsuykun earlier, but maybe we ought to book an outing this weekend?" Selia suggested.

"Oooh, that sounds great. Where are we going?"

Kanna stood frozen at the entrance. "Gah, what are we doing here? We're not children!"

"Yumeko and I are 13. Haruka is 15, and so is Atsuykun. And your only 16. You're still a child."

"I'll be meeting with Mikado later. So senpai, that means that leaves you with Harukkun. Use that opportunity." Selia whispered.

"Oh! Now you're talking!" Kanna said with a ma.s.sive grin on her face.

Haruka sighed, what is with this situation? He wondered why he was woken up so early in the morning. His gaze flickered towards the blonde hair girl who stood beside Atsuya.

For the past few days, she's been doing a somewhat annoyingly good job at avoiding him. He wanted to explain to her, but now he sees that there's no need for that. He's sure she's figured out he's a hanyou already.

Most normal people who discover someone they know is a hanyou change their minds about the person. They end up disgusted. That's normal since he isn't entirely human. Disliking the unknown is natural. While in today's society, hanyou's are gradually being accepted and blending in. There are just as many who dislike the situation. Why does it bother him so much, anyway? So what if Yumeko hates him because of this ident.i.ty?

Irritation.
Annoyance.

Since then, his heart hasn't been able to calm down yet either. He grabbed Kanna's hand and pulled her way.

"Haruka?"

"Senpai, I'm pent up."He muttered, "Help me out.."

That's right; this is all he needs. He need not be in a relations.h.i.+p. There are plenty of girls around, plenty who will do this with him. He doesn't need Yumeko.

"I wondered where you two went… Err so.." Atsuya said awkwardly.

"We're not dating," Haruka finished for him.

"Right."

He sighed this guy doesn't learn his lesson, does he?

"Haruka come here for a second."

Huh? Haruka blinked in confusion.

But he walked over to his friend. Just as he does so, however, Atsuya punched him

"Ouch what the..." Atsuyas action stunned Haruka. The punch aside, he glanced over at his friend. Atsuya wore an angry look on his face.

"This my friend is for Yumeko."

"You found out already. ."

Atsuya nodded, "While I understand urges are difficult to control. Please refrain from laying a hand on my girlfriend. Friend or not, I'll beat you to a pulp the next time you try. "

"Yeah…" Haruka said.

"Good, let's get back."

….. As Haruka walked behind him, he couldn't help but think. For Haruka this the first time, the first time he's seen Atsuya angry. So, Yumeko is that special to him. Why is he getting so irritated?

While Atsuya and the others went to line up for food, they left him guarding everyone's belongings with Yumeko. They found a quiet spot to eat and a table too at the edge of where the food stalls were. It was awkward to say so the least. He couldn't sense malice from her, but he couldn't be too sure, being left alone with Yumeko. The last thing he expected was to receive a lunch box from the girl. So when she gave it, it confused him.

"Huh?" Haruka said confused.

Yumeko averted her gaze, "D-don't react like that; I've been wondering since that time what I could do… Oh, but don't eat this in front of him. He might get mad…"

That last part was unnecessary; however, Haruka accepted the box. "I have nothing for dinner, so this helps."

"Ye-yeah."

An awkward silence between them.

"H—Harukkun, um so I thought about it... You're a hanyou?"

"Yeah."

Here it comes, the hate — the look of disgust.
Well, at least she cooked for him this once.

"If—if you need blood. Just tell me." Yumeko suddenly said.

Haruka blinked in confusion, huh? What? What did she say?"

"I don't get how this stuff works... But, I heard from the others you seldom take blood from another person, and your urges are bad. You told me my blood was sweet and seemed to like it, so if it helps…"

Is this girl crazy? Does she not understand what she's doing? She is offering herself so quickly. He walked over and bend down, "Well, I'll take you up on that. However, this isn't quite the place."

"S-sorry!" Yumeko apologized.

"Could you come over tomorrow?"

"Yes?"

How naive. Well, Yumeko is the one who offered herself. As Haruka recalled Atsuya warning though, he paused. Should he allow this to happen?

It's only once. Haruka wants to get a proper taste. Once he does and confirms she isn't unique, these feelings would go away, wouldn't they?
