Dream Star 177 Seeing You Again 10

July 2035 (Lila and Kiryu's dimension)

He's a fool. A fool, Lila hits his chest with her hands.

Tears streamed down her eyes.

"Why? Why did you let me go, you, you knew about my feelings?" What hurt her the most was that Kiryu allowed her to go to Haruka's side, the reality of him giving up the fight. In the past, he would have fought for her.

When Kiryu allowed her to go, Lila understood. Even if she's still important to him, something has changed. There are other people more important to him now; she's no longer the most important to him.

Kiryu wrapped his arms around her, "Yeah, Ichinose scolded me the other day. I heard it though, your singing."

"The other day? Sing--" Lila paused in mid-sentence realizing what he meant.

Senpai must have overheard her in the gardens; he ought to have said something to her. But she supposes it's like him to do this.

"I know Lila. Your feelings haven't gone but seeing me now. Do you want me back?"

Seeing Kiryu again after so long, does she want him back? She should.

Lila has missed him so much. It's painful without him by her side. It's hard to breathe since they broke up. Her chest feels suffocated. But why can't she tell him that? Her thoughts broke off when his hands brushed against her cheeks. "Sorry, I have my morals not to touch another man's girlfriend. But I will kiss you, Lila."

Lila looked down, "..." Even though she forgot how gentle Kiryu treats her whenever they kiss. Despite his apparent desire.

"I should meet with Karas.h.i.+ma."

Lila looked at him puzzled, "Eh."

"I used my tongue," Kiryu said.

At that comment, she exclaimed, "Idiot! Don't give the details."

Kiryu smiled, "Well that was nice. Thanks."

'Thanks?' He didn't even wait for her response. So basically he forced her? A forced kiss from Kiryu... She's received plenty from Haruka before, but it wasn't like this. Her heart is beating. Lila understands her feelings though. Even this gentle kiss she shared with Kiryu has changed nothing. She still wants to remain by Haruka's side, still wants to be with him and only him.

The two are silent for a few minutes until a bright light broke it.

"Our gems..." Lila murmured. The light engulfed the two.

"..."

Her thoughts broke off when Kiryu grabbed hold of her hand. Ah— but she recalled Haruka's reaction when it came to Kiryu. She probably shouldn't even if her powers are in

"It will be light; he won't notice," Kiryu a.s.sured her.

"Kiryu.."

Kiryu smiled, "You want to protect him don't you?"

"Yes."

Lila closed her eyes as she felt the power surge through her body. The familiar warmth and sensation of their powers combined together. It has been a long time since she felt this sensation, but even now she recalls it all too well.

A few days later.

... Haruka hid behind the wall and watched the girl sing. She does this a lot, since the incidence a few days ago. Singing the old songs she wrote for Austin Kiryu. He didn't want to think much of it; after all, he doesn't want to hurt her anymore. Maybe she's lonely and misses him? They did start dating barely a week after the incidence.

"Good morning.." Haruka greeted as he entered the kitchen.

"Wahhh--!"

Haruka blinked, puzzled at his girlfriend's reaction. The girl quickly his whatever she was doing behind some draws. Oh, is she preparing for their date? He looked away, "I won't turn around, so you can continue.."

"Ah-huh, give me a few minutes..."

Haruka nodded.

His thoughts broke off though when he felt her bury her face in his back, "You are strange."

"Ah-huh, good morning Haruka.." Lila greeted.

"Yeah. Do you want to kiss?"

His girlfriend shyly nodded.

TV T (Meeting room)

Haruka was hardly paying attention to the meeting. His gaze fell on his hand; as he recalled the girl shyly kissing his hand. A sign of courtesy amongst hanyou couples, huh? He still isn't used to it.

...

"What do you want?" Haruka sighed. He didn't think she would cause a fuss in the meeting like that. Or rather, "Why are you even here?"

"My family is one of the sponsors," Natsuki said.

"I see."

Haruka wasn't listening though; his gaze fell on the building opposite. The reason he even agreed to this meeting was because Lila had work on the opposite side. Natsuki noticed since she angrily said, "Haruka, are you actually leaving me for that girl?"

"We were never in a relations.h.i.+p." Haruka pointed out.

"But we're still engaged."

Haruka shook his head, "I never accepted that I only went along with it because of the boss orders."

Natsuki shot him a glare, "And? Being with that girl is part of the boss orders too, so why are you treating her differently?"

"You're wrong; dating her was never the boss order." The boss only said to sleep with her once. He already did that. He's dating her because he loves her.

He's touching her because he loves her. Haruka knew that he is not doing this because anyone told him too. All his actions regarding her are to do with his own free will. His choice.

Lila laughed, "Um, I could see you."

Haruka nodded, "I wasn't trying to hide."

More laughter escaped from the girl's lips. Why is it that he finds every action of hers so endearing? It makes little sense.."Can I watch for a while? Or will you get in trouble?"

"Ah, no it's fine. The reason we are doing the shoot outside is so bystanders can watch."

Haruka looked at the surroundings, and sure enough, there was a crowd.

He frowned, too many guys were jeering at her from the sidelines. His gaze fell on the outfit Lila wore. He wrapped his jacket around her, "Wear something less revealing."

Lila's cheeks reddened, as she realized what he meant and covers her b.r.e.a.s.t.s, "Oh— I didn't realize."

Haruka sighed, too oblivious. "Who's your director? Let me speak with him." What are they doing make her something that shows her curves too much?

"Yumeko already complained about the costumes," Lila said.

"Yumeko's here?" he murmured.

"Haruka?"

"I'll say something, change into something different. There are other outfits right?"

"Ah yes."

She seems healthy, despite all that happened the other day. Is she all right? Haruka didn't know what happened in that light, but she clung to him tightly once it was all over. If only he worked on training his powers, he would know what happened. Was there somebody else with her in that light? Austin Kiryu? Haruka shook his head, what good does it do being paranoid?

When he saw who the director was, his eyes twitched in annoyance.

"Andrew," Haruka called out.

"Who said--" the English man's face color turned pale seeing him, "Haruka."

"Oh, so you have the guts to mess around hmm? You know that girl is my girlfriend."

Andrew frowned, "Which one?"

Huh? He didn't know. Haruka pointed to Ari, who was giving others instructions.

"H—her?!! I'm sorry. I didn't realize." Andrew apologized.

"Well, that's fine, but why pick her?" Haruka asked. He examined Andrew's reaction; he's telling the truth it seems.

There are girls with better figures than her in this group. Andrew explained the situation and his frown deepened as he stared at the note. "I wasn't sure if it was genuine or not, but I received the money."

This sort of tactic is familiar to him. If it isn't Natsuki nagging, there's another woman. His gaze landed on his girlfriend; it seems like their trip to England won't be so peaceful.
