"There isn't, I love you," she murmured against his ear. She loves him so much, Lila didn't think she could love somebody as much as she does Haruka. It's different than the feelings she had for Kiryu; it's something much more. Something that is difficult to put in words.

"Since you two are having a moment, I'll leave," Miu said, "But we're starting soon, so,"

Lila nodded, "Ah-huh," with those words said she watched as Miu left the room and turned to Haruka. He didn't respond to her 'I love you comment,' but Lila a.s.sumed it was merely because Miu was around. Lila waited for him to say something, but even after a few minutes, he said nothing, "Haruka?"

"Hmm?"

"No reply?"

Haruka lips grazed her neck, as he started to place kisses there, "Nnnnngh, unngh," he will not say anything? How come? Is it like she thought, did something go wrong? But, she likes this, "Haruka, this feels nice."

"As it should do, I'm glad I please you."

But she doesn't want to be pleased right now, Lila wanted a response to her 'I love you,' she understood that such topics are scary for men. However, Haruka has not had a problem telling her those words before. What changed, what — Lila recalls how Haruka is always on the phone these days, and sometimes he has 'work' elsewhere.

"Haruka, wait, stop a moment."

"What is it?"

Lila looked at him with a serious gaze, "Lately, where do you keep disappearing too?"

"I said I had work, didn't I?"

"Where exactly?"

Why doesn't he just tell her, does she have to resort to spying on him? When Lila got this bad feeling a few days back, she considered hiring somebody and spying - but she decided against it and didn't go through with her plan. Lila wanted to believe in him, "I'm sorry for nagging about it, I'm just worried when you're not beside me. I want to be with you all the time."

A tender look appeared on Haruka's face; the indifferent look had vanished as he gently caressed her cheeks, "I know you do, and I'd like the same. But right now we have our own share of duties and responsibilities."

"Senpai, senpai, are you being serious? Why are you here, too?" Lila couldn't believe it when they were introducing the contestants for the show, "I know you want to stalk me, but you are taking things too far."

Oujiro flushed red, "I am not stalking you! It's just Ameno couldn't appear on the show, so I replaced him."

"Ah-huh," Lila paused. But if Ameno-senpai felt the need to attend this show, then maybe he knows that something terrible would happen? So far, things had been going reasonably well. Aside from when she lost her footing and tripped earlier during the opening, but she regained her balance.

"Huh, you can cook," Kiryu commented.

"Of course. I've been practicing for the future."

Hearing that, Kiryu shudders. This girl is scary as h.e.l.l...

The fact that he got paired with Selia wasn't surprising. He's been in the entertainment industry for so long to know what sorts of tricks people pull on programs like this. Since its not a music-based program, the people in charge are easily bribed. If it was a musical one, the ones in charge, usually give it more thought since they could risk offending the artist.

A deep sigh escapes his lips. The standard set up with these sorts of shows is the male representative of the G.o.d5 and the female representative of the G.o.ddess4 together. But nope… His gaze fell on the other table.

"Waaahh! Senpai, your not supposed to mix that together --"

"What …your not?"

"Uh, why are you putting in strange spices?"

Lila was about to take the spice from him and put it back. But --- Hearing a crash sound. Kiryu turned around and saw the disaster, Lila had fallen on the ground.

Kiryu almost made his way over, but he stopped himself in his tracks since Oujiro had already made his way over to help Lila.

"Are you hurt?"

Lila laughs, "Etto, I fell on my b.u.t.t. Are you okay, senpai?"

. . . . . . . What's with that flirting atmosphere? Then again, he supposes this is one of the purposes of the program. Rather Ichinose, what is he doing taking on a program with a cooking segment if he can't even cook? Kiryu deeply sighed, 'd.a.m.n,' when he gets jealous he says such unreasonable things.

"Wait, Kiryu-kun? What are you doing?"

He glanced over at his own work and noticed…

"Quickly give it to me. For now, focus on the side dishes."

He obediently hands over the batter to Mio and starts doing as she instructed. A deep sigh escaping his lips. What is he doing? He's in the middle of work. There's no need to get jealous too.

Since he was way too distracted, Selia made him fetch the ingredients. He's thankful since it was slightly away from the camera. He really needs to learn how to control his jealousy; he can't always trouble Lila.

As he was thinking this, he feels pretty hands on his. Since he was so distracted, he hadn't noticed Lila until their hands were inter-winded with each other.

. . . . What is she doing?

He looks at her expression saw her concerned look, "Kiryu, you look pale. Do you need help?"

What sort of help is she offering while looking at with those cute eyes of hers? Dear Lila, if they weren't on TV. Does she know what sorts of things he would be doing to her right now?

. ..Then again, it's not like the cameras are paying much attention to the ingredients corner. Kiryu shook his head, don't do anything unreasonable. Still, Kiryu bends down, so their faces were only a few inches away from each other. He didn't kiss her, and simply got close to her but that didn't stop his girlfriend from blus.h.i.+ng like crazy; leading to the audience who was sitting near the ingredients corner to squeal.

"KYAHHH.!"

"Ah, they are so cute! I need more of this couple."

"Quick someone get me some paper, I must draw some fan art…. "

The cameraman must have noticed and turned the cameras over here…But more importantly..

He blinks, listening to the content coming from the audience. While nowadays it's not unusual for idols to be in relations.h.i.+ps. There are still this who are against it. He didn't think him and Lila had these many people who like them together. Especially considering how Lila is Karas.h.i.+ma's girlfriend now.

"Kiryu, they think we're a couple."

Kiryu chuckled, "Is that good?"

"According to Haruka, it's fine if we look like were flirting. Since it's for work, he said it would help improve my image if we look like were subtly flirting," Lila hinted the words subtly before she deeply sighed, "But a boyfriend who lets his girlfriend go on a show like this, what is he thinking?"

Kiryu doesn't reply, actually he spoke with Karas.h.i.+ma about this beforehand. They had a rather long talk about it. According to Karas.h.i.+ma, Lila's reputation as Kiku Ari is damaged because she started to date him. And that's also the reason why people are insulting her as Lila. 'The only solution is to make people think there is still something between you two; you don't need to act much for that correct?' True, on his side, Kiryu didn't mind acting like a couple with Lila since he genuinely had feelings for her. But, it's probably hard on her.

He reached over and gently knocked her forehead with his hands, "Look up, he's watching you," Kiryu said.

"Up?"

Kiryu turned Lila around and looked at the right-hand side on the second-floor balcony area.

"Ah," Lila exclaimed.

There stood Karas.h.i.+ma Haruka leaning over the railing, a troubled look on his face. Kiryu smiled, "It isn't easy for him either, you see?"

Lila grabbed hold of his arm suddenly, and his sweat fell. Uh, "I'll make him jealous; it's his punishment for proposing such a ridiculous plan!" Lila exclaimed.

Well, Kiryu had to admit that when he first heard it. He thought the same thing. But after he thought about it as a long-term thing. Karas.h.i.+ma makes a point. People aren't furious at Lila because she went on her journey. No, the main reason is to do with him. It's because she left him behind. It's hard to believe that, so many people took his and Lila's relations.h.i.+p seriously. After all, most relations.h.i.+ps their age is considered a fling.

"You know, your b.r.e.a.s.t.s have grown," Kiryu commented.

Lila stepped on his foot, "Just play along, and quit being a pervert."

Even if she said that if she keeps clinging to his arm like this, she's practically pressing her b.r.e.a.s.t.s against his arm, a deep sigh pa.s.sed his lips. Then again, he's never been able to argue against her. It was like that back then and even now. Some things never seem to change, no matter how much time pa.s.ses by, huh?
