Fugaku made his way out of the cla.s.sroom with a stoic face. While his face was stoic, his eyes revealed to all the contemptuous feelings he had towards his cla.s.smates. Jiro fell into step with him after making sure to crank up his killing intent. As they made their way home with the afternoon beating down on them, Fugaku finally let his inner feelings loose.

"Our cla.s.smates are idiots. Not one person knows how to fight properly except for some of the clan kids. Although some of them seem serious, their lack of ability just makes them a hindrance."

As Jiro listened to Fugaku rant about the lack of ability his cla.s.s possessed, he looked at Fugaku with a hint of pity on his face, but amus.e.m.e.nt was leaking from his eyes.

"You know that I can technically just take the test and leave the academy right? I'll be going onto join the police force with father while you will have to stay and make some connections as the future clan head."

When Fugaku turned his head towards Jiro, a grin slowly stretched across Jiro's face. Fugaku had a face was filled with despair. Streams of horror just leaked from his eyes at the thought of having to deal with his cla.s.smates on a daily basis. Unbeknownst to Fugaku, a couple ninjas happened to overhear their conversation and were reminiscing of their academy days.

At the household of the Uchiha, Fugaku had a relieved look on his face. Junichiro and Akane had specifically agreed to make sure that Jiro attended for a year along with Fugaku. In the middle of their lecture towards Jiro for trying to leave his twin, Akane burst into coughs which came back with a vengeance and they had to let her rest in bed.

Jiro was wondering. Now that he and Fugaku were going to be in the academy for over a year, Jiro wondered if he should also make a friend of some sort. Jiro never felt the need for a friend because he had always been with Fugaku. Although brothers can be friends, Jiro knew that his father and mother wanted for him to gain some sort of friend that was not his brother.

Jiro began to walk towards the training grounds within the Uchiha compound to see if he could find anyone who interested him. If they were interesting, he might be willing to become friends with them. After he arrived, Jiro's walk within the training grounds was interrupted by what seemed to be a chase.

A teenager with spiky white hair and red lines going down from his eyes was chasing after a brown tabby, complemented by light brown stripes. The cat was also sporting a red ribbon tied around one ear. The white haired teen was dressed in a light gray robe with red sleeves and a green collar complemented by orange spirals.

The cat jumped into Jiro's arms with a distressed screech. The teenager in question looked to be about thirteen and he was spiraling towards Jiro. Jiro, not wanting to get dirty let loose a burst of concentrated killing intent at the level of being an actual threat. The white haired teen quickly rolled backwards in a burst of motion and Jiro found himself surrounded by three teens.

There was one teen that had purple eyeliner that went strangely well with his slitted eyes and yellow pupils. The last teen was a blonde haired girl with a pony tail. She was dressed in an olive colored s.h.i.+rt with a dull pink collar. Naturally, all of them also had ninja mesh on their underneath. The three ninjas slowly circled around Jiro with caution, but they were also relaxing as Jiro was beginning to let off on his killing intent.

Jiro noticed the man approaching them. Still holding the cat, Jiro bent his head down into a bow and greeted the man.

"Hokage-sama."

The three teens quickly jumped back to create some distance between Jiro and themselves before greeting the man.

"Sensei."

Sarutobi Hiruzen lifted up his hand to acknowledge the greeting before chuckling and indicating for his students to let their guards down.

"Jiraya, Tsunade, Orochimaru, there is no need for you all to be so cautious against Jiro."

The ninjas in question quickly recovered before badgering their sensei with all sorts of question about who Jiro is, how he met Jiro, and how to go to the women's bath, courtesy of Jiraiya. After smacking Jiraiya for asking such a bad question, Sarutobi revealed Jiro's position as the son of the Uchiha clan head as well as being the main creator to the body refining technique.

The three teamates quickly turned to ask Jiro question, but all they saw was an empty s.p.a.ce where he was just moments earlier. They turned to their sensei on hopes of receiving some hint, but he answered cryptically about finding a cat. The teens were b.u.mmed about missing out on meeting the infamous reclusive genius of the Uchiha clan about they quickly figured out what their sensei was hinting at so they quickly split off to find the cat.

Sarutobi looked at where Jiro was standing at earlier and a grin broke out across his weathered face.

"That is an impressive Genjutsu Jiro."

The Genjutsu faded to reveal that Jiro was standing in the same spot he was earlier while still holding onto the cat. Jiro broke into a small smile as the cat began to purr in response to his gentle petting.

Sarutobi allowed a huge look of shock to fill his face as the cat began to purr. The previous image of the cat fighting tooth and nail to avoid capture did not overlap with the current image of it being content. Sarutobi remembered how terribly amusing it was to watch other people struggling to catch the cat when he suddenly gaped in shock. Jiro was successfully putting the cat under a Genjutsu. A feat which is normally very difficult because a cat has a completely different nervous system from a human.

As Sarutobi and Jiro began to get into a talk about applying Genjutsu as well as the current limitations behind it, Jiraiya and the other ninja arrived. They had figured out that Tora, the cat, was still with Jiro.

After getting to know Tsunade, Orochimaru, and Jiraiya, Jiro found them to be very likable as a group. As he began to leave the courtyard, he mouthed a couple words to Jiraiya. Jiraiya let a small giggle escape his mouth in response to the words as he began to get ready to visit the woman's baths. Tsunade and Orochimaru let out sighs in response to Jiraiya while Sarutobi wondered how and why Jiro would know information about the women's baths.
