Chapter 2162 The Celestial Trickster -Part 2
Krishna deflected the magic bolts that were coming towards him, not knowing that those bolts were forms of incantation disguised as mere magical projectiles that were going to be used for the next subsequent attack. However, it was too late when he noticed it as the Celestial Trickster found itself too blinded by the fact that they sent some little girl to fight against him.
He was thinking of the absurdity of the situation and while he had seen a fair share of child prodigies, he never expected that he would be soon surrounded with magical incantation symbols floating all around him. Before Krishna was able to twitch his muscle one more time, the symbols glowed and they immediately blasted him out of this current position.
He was teleported into a barren land where there was nothing much just a few weeds growing around him. Not a single tree in sight nor was there any sunlight. The skies were cloudy and even the ground looked like it had not tasted a single drop of water for ages.
It was pretty obvious that he had been effectively being transferred out of the current battlefield where he could not utilise his magic in manipulating people.
But he a.s.sumed that he was still in Atopia, just another part of the world where it was secluded enough not to be able to interfere with the battle. What Krishna did not know was that he had actually been teleported to a dungeon instance instead.
If he ever tried to teleport back to his initial location, there would be no effect since the link to the outside world had been cut off now that he is in a dungeon instance.
"Gosh, my master makes me fight with some troublesome foe once again. He never learns to give a break or some easy tasks." Peppers complained as she entered the dungeon instance as well. She then looked at the charred land and even picked up the sediments on the ground to inspect. Krishna had no idea what she was doing but Peppers knew what happened here.
This particular dungeon instance was something she bought with her System points. After all, she did rescue Jin's body from the Celestial Plane and the System rewarded her enough that she did not need to care about living for at least a year or two.
But it is precisely because she had such a tremendous amount of System points in her wallet, that Peppers had splurged it until the System found that it was unwise to give her such enormous rewards in the future.
Thus, she bought a dungeon instance that she could truly say that it was her own and the System gave her partial control of it. That means she could reshape it however she wants depending on how much mana she had decided to use in order to change the landscape.
Obviously, judging from the current state of the dungeon instance, she did not give a d.a.m.n about it because she came here to test out her spells, especially her favourite explosion magic.
So, what Krishna was standing on was the acc.u.mulation of all the spells that had been dispensed to this particular wasteland until it was in this state. Being oblivious of this, the Celestial Trickster started to weave Celestial Energy through his flute and throw out a bunch of summons that never existed on the previous battlefield.
Maybe because he liked music tremendously as the summons that came out were all carrying some sort of musical instrument. All of the summons while faceless like a wooden model placed in stores, their dressing looked grand, of high quality, and that included the instruments they wielded.
"Sorry to say, I rather not play with you just like how Mr Kraft will always do.
My objective is to make sure you stay relatively dead enough so that you will cool down to abide by the ceasefire." Peppers said in a calm manner but inside her, the Demon Queen of Lots and Lots of Explosion was dying to throw down as much firepower as she could mainly because of the hate she had acc.u.mulated for surviving in the Celestial Plane.
Without much hesitation after saying her piece, a chain of explosive spells was set off as if she had already prepared them way beforehand.
And considering how she did not need to worry about any other casualties or the usual command from her master to keep things as 'restricted' as possible, her fiery death spells instantly incinerated the summons as well as inflicting damage to The Celestial Trickster.
Naturally, Krishna would not be stupid to be hit twice by the same spell the moment he realised the spell materialised in front of him. However, what he did not know was that he was fighting with a mage who consistently fought in extreme conditions. Jin had pushed her from one boundary to another and it never stopped.
This had made her explosions. .h.i.t hard. Most explosions would spread out its energy as quickly as possible but it was as if she had studied some physics (or at the very least attempted to) and that made the explosions felt like it was imploding from within while still expanding outwards.
And if that was not enough, the chain set of spells that Peppers let go were not based on coordinates. There was actually a small spherical shape of magic incantation following him. So no matter how he tried to escape, the only time he could do so was if he literally phased out from the explosion the moment it activated.
Unfortunately, Krishna was more than shocked when he saw she was able to wield her powers so easily. But what he did not expect was that the explosions had a secondary explosion hidden in the spell. The moment it exploded, the magic within the explosion took shape like a knight in armour and sent its fist running through any other explosions just to hit the Celestial Trickster.
Looks like the person being tricked was Krishna and not Peppers. All she wanted was to have a quick resolution and get on with her snacks.
