In the Hokage's office, an anbu landed by the window before entering. Sarutobi turned to him ready to hear about the daily affairs of the villagers. Unfortunately, Sarutboi received news that was most saddening.
"Hokage-sama, prepare to pull out the sign within your office once more."
The anbu trio on the rooftop quickly went into action as did the anbu with a songbird mask. The room darkened with a dim light s.h.i.+ning on the Hokage and the anbu that entered. Sarutobi was right about to speak when he was interrupted by the songbird anbu who copied his voice to shout.
"NANI!"
The once serious mood set by the trio was ruined by the anbu with the songbird mask. The songbird anbu ran away with the trio of anbu specializing in controlling light chasing after him in fake anger. Sarutobi sighed at the antics of his anbu, but he sympathized with them. The only entertainment he could get was from watching Genin try to capture the beastly cat Tora.
"Hokage-sama, you need to pull out the sign that explicitly states you are a straight male."
Sarutobi groaned and put his hand to his head before getting off the chair. He began to rifle through the drawers while the anbu who had brought the unfortunate news left using the window.

Jiro let out an inaudible groan of disappointment and frustration. His once beautiful idea of creating a natural armor was quickly shot down in all fronts by Tsunade. Orochimaru who had accepted the reality that Jiro's project would be delayed further until he came up with new ideas patted his shoulder in sympathy.
After it was concluded that Jiro would have to try again, the group split up. Orochimaru went straight towards his house to do more jutsu and anbu requirement research while Jiraiya stayed back to chat with Tsunade. Jiro walked back towards his home feeling disappointed and pondering if he should start researching medical Ninjutus.
Jiro dismissed the notion and instead decided to continue to hone his laser like flame release jutsu. The beam still had ways to be improved as it would flicker about. The goal was for the beam to be like a laser without variations in it's temperature, speed, or shape unless it was on purpose. While walking back, Jiro picked up some dango to munch on. The stick was bare within moments and Jiro carried on towards his home.
Jiro arrived at the Uchiha courtyard and he proceeded to the training area. Jiro formed a shadow clone that would practice the jutsu while he would watch with his sharingan to see how the beam would slightly vary while being fired. Jiro spent an hour just staring as his clone fired beam after beam after beam.
At this point, Jiro was already exhausted in terms of chakra. He had used up a lot from staring with his sharingan active at the clone firing beam after beam and he had to form clones multiple times whenever the chakra of one ran out. The target was already blackish in color and about to fall apart.
Jiro finally dismissed the fifteenth clone he had formed throughout the hour before sitting down and finally running through the memories of the clone thoroughly while mentally looking through the memories of the beam captured by his sharingan.
After meditating on it for about an hour, Jiro finally stood up. He didn't bother to fuel his laser with oxygen. He simply channeled his chakra before opening his mouth. A blazing beam of fire streaked across the ground before colliding with a nearby tree which instantly burned through some of it. The gra.s.s on the floor looked to be burned evenly indicating that the beam remained powerful across the thirty feet it was shot.
Satisfied with his laser, Jiro began to walk back to his house with a sense of ease. He figured that it would be fun to use his improved laser in the tournament. Thinking of the tournament, a grin that promised pain slowly split over Jiro's face. He had already thoroughly showed off his prowess without Genjutsu so it would be fine if he used it in the tournament.
The citizens who witnessed Jiro's unhinged grin looked away in fear. The once slightly busy street parted way for Jiro to walk through. As soon as he pa.s.sed by, the citizens let out a breathe they had been holding in fear of p.i.s.sing him off. Jiro naturally noticed that even the Uchiha citizens seemed to fear him, but he didn't care.
Dinner was a quiet affair with everyone having a normal day except Jiro. He spoke about developing a new jutsu, but did not show it off so he could surprise everybody in the tournament. After eating, Jiro went out to meet Kana.
When Jiro arrived by the Forest of Death, Kana naturally sensed his presence and flew over to greet him. He was met with a fireball to the face. Kana really did inherit Jiro's sense of humor. He took it with no problem as Kana didn't make it deadly. He was going to spend the next couple of hours showing to Kana how to form the wind claws he was supposed to teach her, but Kana had advanced past him.
She had a full armor of wind chakra surrounding her and making her slice through the air with ease. Jiro stared in awe with glowing eyes as she cut through the air, sometimes speeding up so fast he could barely catch her. During those speedy moments, she could turn around and maintain the speed making Jiro see a brownish blur speeding about.
His sharingan showed how Kana was moving, but he wasn't able to figure out how the chakra interacted with her to create such a phenomenon. Jiro's mind was blown even further when Kana started to mix in fire attributed chakra into the mix to create a flaming bird that was blowing through the air.
Unfortunately, a couple trees caught fire from Kana's showing off. Jiro absentmindedly put them out while mentally continuing to run through the images of Kana moving with the chakra surrounding her. He snapped out of it when he noticed that an anbu was moving in towards them from a scouting point.
It took about a minute before she actually saw Jiro in her eyesight. At this point, Jiro flashed his headband to the anbu indicating that he was a ninja of the leaf.
"I sensed a very large amount of chakra being radiated here just earlier. Do you know the reason for such a phenomenon? I don't mean your partner."
The anbu had noticed Kana, but she knew that the chakra being radiated wasn't from Kana. Jiro thought that the chakra was from Kana so he was confused. The anbu continued to look at Jiro expecting some sort of answer.
"There was nothing else here except for Kana and I."
The anbu contemplated for a moment before taking off. She told Jiro to be careful while she left. Jiro continued to stare at her even though their distance was now too far for regular eyes. The anbu was not shocked as she had read about Jiro Uchiha, the second coming of Madara. She narrowed her eyes at the thought of a second Madara, but continued on her way to the Hokage's office.
When she finally disappeared from Jiro's eyesight, he turned back to Kana who had dismissed her earlier chakra construct before the anbu arrived. Jiro got into a position for a fight while Kana reactivated her wind chakra to surround her. The trees further in the distance began to fall while a familiar face reappeared across Jiro's vision.
The white ape had reappeared to apparently challenge Kana for her throne in that part of the forest. Jiro noted that the ape was covered in even more scars, but the most interesting thing was that it was covered in an earthy brownish aura. Jiro quickly figured out that the ape was also doing something similar to Kana, but instead of speeding it up, the ape was slowed.
The deep footprints showed that in exchange for speed, the ape had both defensive and offensive strength increased. It roared a challenge, before lumbering forward. Kana screeched back in response before bursting into flames and charging towards the ape. The blur of red crashed into the brownish ape resulting in an explosion of flames engulfing the forest.
Jiro put out the flames while intensely observing the two giants clas.h.i.+ng in battle. The more he studied this chakra armor, the better chance he would have in creating his own version of it. The brown giant threw the red giant into the ground crus.h.i.+ng some of the smaller trees while creating a crash that shook the ground.
Kana flew into the sky and continued to gain alt.i.tude before cras.h.i.+ng down towards the ape like a red meteor. The ape braced itself for impact while protecting it's face. The moment before cras.h.i.+ng, Kana pulled her upper body back while letting her talons covered in flames crash into the ape. A roar of agony emerged from the dust as the ape was nursing a giant scar that stretched from the top of its head to its chin.
Droplets of red rain fell over the forest dying it a crimson shade, but the two continued to fight with claws and teeth. This time a screech of anger echoed through the setting sun and sky as Kana flew upwards with a limp leg that looked to be broken. The ape jumped up continuing to pursue Kana, but it was no match for Kana's speed even when she was injured.
She screeched in rage while flying back to edge of the forest near the village in a display of defeat. The ape roared valiantly before beginning to shuffle back with its back to Kana, it didn't notice the cold gleam in her eyes. Suddenly, a giant claw scratched across the ape's back scattering blood all over the leaves of the forest. As the ape roared, Kana fired flames straight into the mouth of the ape.
It immediately closed its mouth to protect itself, but the damage was done. It began to stumble about, flailing its arms everywhere causing more trees to fall. Its face continued to grow bluer and bluer before the ape finally fell with an unwilling expression across its purplish blue face. Jiro watched with interest as Kana dug her beak into the ape and began to devour most of its body. A b.l.o.o.d.y rib cage was left behind with the face and limbs for the animals of the forest.
While they were leaving, Jiro noticed several leeches falling from higher trees down onto the ape's b.l.o.o.d.y corpse. Some tigers began to cautiously stroll over before digging into the body with relish. A bug with a sharp straw like nose silently crawled down from a tree before it began to suck the blood from the ape.
At Kana's nest, a b.l.o.o.d.y Jiro was wrapping a giant piece of cloth around Kana's leg that had several long sticks setting the bone straight. He continued to wrap despite the feeble protests from Kana. After he finished wrapping her leg, Jiro used a large ball of water to clean the blood off of Kana and himself.
Many ruined feathers and bruised skin were exposed across Kana while Jiro cleansed her body. For the ruined feathers, Jiro plucked them clean off of Kana leaving her with some patches of exposed skin. For old time's sake, Jiro let Kana soak in his fire attributed chakra before he left.
