Before Teuchi could get to recounting the stories of Fugaku's troubles with marriage meetings, he started flailing and waving his hands at his face screaming. He fell from the chair onto the floor and was struggling on the floor as he experienced a Genjutsu from Fugaku.

"Agh, not again. d.a.m.n fish tails begone. d.a.m.n it Fugaku!"

Said person only chuckled darkly as Teuchi struggled to slap away the imaginary images attacking him. Homura walked over to Teuchi and he immediately got up after she touched his head. She also helped him get up before moving off to the side once more to listen as she was also interested.

"As I was saying before I was so rudely interrupted,"

Fugaku looked away as Teuchi glared at him.

"Fugaku here, got many marriage proposals to deal with. He also got a lot from many healthy young men who acckkk."

Teuchi's petty revenge was stopped as Fugaku began to strangle him from across the table. Duy stepped in and separated the two with a solemn face. He looked at the two before he also began speaking.

"Guys. I have something to confess-"

"Yeah yeah."

"I got a girlfriend."

Even the lazy old man got up from the ground with shock emanating from his eyes. Fugaku and the old man glared at Duy while Teuchi sat back down rubbing his throat while also watching Duy with curiosity.

"What do you mean Duy? You mean that you got a lady friend before that lazy old man? Ha! Old man, you now owe me and no running away."

"Tsk."

Their sensei who had been trying to run off walked back and sat back down before gesturing at Duy to continue his story.

"I met her outside a shop while a couple kids were trying to bother her-"

"Sounds like a typical sappy romance story that civilian ladies like reading.

"You saying you read those stories?"

"Shut up Teuchi. Continue Duy."

"I beat up the kids trying to bother her and helped her bring the bags she was carrying to her house. She was living near the "teahouses" and her mother was sick so she had gotten medicine from the store to try and help her-"

"Fugaku, you trying to confess something here?"

"..."

"Anyways, I helped her and she invited me to stay for dinner. Several minutes into dinner which was very light, there were a bunch of knocks at the door. It turns out that she owed money to these loaners."

At this point, everyone was silent. They all had one thought running through their minds. "How cliche."

"So I beat them up and then she started crying onto my chest saying that she needed someone who was strong to protect her-"

"She's lying."

"Geez Fugaku, stop trying to interrupt the story."

"That wasn't me. It was Homura."

"...sorry."

"I agree. She's lying."

"You too sensei?"

"Hehe. I know women. Hehe. She totally planned all this out. It was probably with her mother. And I'm almost sure that you know her from somewhere earlier Duy."

"Ignoring sensei's pervyness, Homura what made you say that?"

"I bet she was going to use some plan like that-"

As a kunai penetrated the s.p.a.ce between Teuchi's legs, he immediately fell silent. As Homura's intense red eyes glared at him, Teuchi nodded.

"Ok. I understand. What is said in here stays in here."

As Homura slowly nodded, he smiled nervously. Fugaku coughed into his hand before continuing the questioning."

"So Duy, what are you going to do know?"

"I'm still going to be her boyfriend."

"Really?"

In response to Teuchi and Fugaku's doubt, Duy simply nodded.

"Huhu. You youngsters are too inexperienced to know the mental fort.i.tude of a person in love."

"Pshh. Remind us how many marriages you failed sensei?"

In response to Teuchi's instant verbal counterattack, the old man stayed silent. His face was ominous and his eyes showed too much experience.

"That reminds me. Someone in love might be mentally strong, but once their love dies, it's another story."

As the room fell into silence, the sensei walked out as did Duy and Teuchi. Fugaku lingered as his eyes flashed red for a moment before he handed an enclosed scroll over to Homura.

"Give this to Jiro."

Fugaku walked out, but went around to the back where he stood by a tree.

"Come on Jiro. I already spotted you."

Jiro slowly moved upwards and came out of the ground by the tree. He was frowning slightly and deep in though.

"You know how she feels. Do it carefully whatever you decide to do."

Seeing that Jiro was still somewhat distracted by the revelation, Fugaku shook Jiro slightly.

"Jiro, pay attention. I need you to work with me. Listen, Lord Third is your sensei and you might be fond of him, but there is a problem. As the war grows closer, he needs to start making decisions for the village and decisions that most benefit the village. The police force is already starting to shrink and soon it might lose all its non Uchiha members."

"Don't tell him everything. We have already been deployed to near borders of other villages to keep watch of situations and we already got into multiple fights. War is going to happen real soon. Also, you got a lot friendlier. Good for you. Mom and dad want you to watch yourself as they consider you to be very vulnerable to the curse of hatred that runs in our veins."

"Stay safe."

The twins hugged for a brief moment before Fugaku took off. While Fugaku was on a building, Jiro smiled as he shouted a question.

"Do you really read those sappy romance stories?"

In response, Fugaku launched a series of shurikens that Jiro blocked with a kunai. As Jiro waved him away, he slowly put his hand down before staring at the sky and sighing. He was already feeling exhausted thinking of how much things might change and the world felt a lot smaller all of a sudden.

Suddenly taking a look at the kunai, Jiro noticed that it was on the verge of breaking.
