I would hazard a guess that entertainment points are what would be used to trade for gear and cla.s.ses, and I couldn't help but to think of the golden globe that dropped from Zoey. It said that I couldn't have a cla.s.s before using it.

Seeing as these guys had acquired cla.s.ses already, it showed that the globe had to be spectacular to have such a requirement. Their battle strength and abilities would have been provided to them from cla.s.ses, and from their conversation I even found out that cla.s.ses gave attribute points.

They would get 5 extra attribute points per cla.s.s, but they each only had 1 cla.s.s, so this could change when they get more cla.s.ses. I thought I would have an advantage over most people because of the skills and buffs I posses, but it seems that the gap between us wouldn't be that great.

If I really didn't get a cla.s.s until level 20, I don't know if I would even hold the advantage. The pieces of information that they were talking about, put me on guard against other survivors, they wouldn't be as weak as I thought.

Having finished their conversation they decided to grind more zombies before heading back to the town. I followed them from the shadows, as they made their way towards the east. I couldn't kill any zombies because I was following them, but this would give me vital information. I needed to see what they could do.

Watching them battle gave me an even greater shock than their conversation. They were by no means 'a well-oiled machine' that instantly shredded zombies and earned experience, but they were taking them down fast.

I think Ella and me could do it faster though.

The main thing of surprise was the glowing lights that enveloped their blades ever now and then and the glow coming from the bow and the staff. The swords that shouldn't have been able to cut through a tough zombie hide were going through it like b.u.t.ter. It wasn't smooth but the blade wouldn't dull.

It seemed that all the sword wielders had this skill and it helped tremendously when killing.

The bow person was actually pretty accurate with his shots as the fight progressed, out of all of his shots; nearly half of them hit a target. His bow glowed slight and I guessed that it helped him aim; I don't think he would be that good otherwise.

And finally the staff wielder. By using my spirit eyes I could see an aura gus.h.i.+ng down from above and helping her to concentrate a type of energy. Once it was built up to a point in her staff, by shouting the word 'fire ball', a small ball of flame would shoot out at a zombie.

The destructive might was pretty good, as anything it hit head on would start to burn. She must have chosen a magic cla.s.s, and the staff was helping her to use her abilities. It was so much easier than my own ice skill.

Though, I could tell that it took a lot out of the person once the shot was actually fired off. She had to gasp for breath and had a pale demeanor leaning on her staff. If she didn't have it, she might not be able to stand up straight.

It really wasn't a good sign; I would rather not use such abilities if they completely drained me. She had to be protected by her team mates so she wouldn't be picked off in that state. She only recovered after a few minutes, and that was from one shot.

I shook my head at the sight.

They continued to clear zombies for a few hours as I tailed them. I couldn't keep doing this forever and wanted them to lead me to the town. Ella was starting to get hungry and was looking at the group like a buffet on legs. I could tell what she was thinking so we quickly dashed off to kill a zombie.

Letting her eat the zombie while we moved back towards the group, we luckily found them because of the sound of fighting. Ella was only slightly satisfied but I really couldn't go too far from them.

Finally after another 2 hours and when the sun was starting to set did the group leader shouted out for them to return. They had figured out what they were going to do.

They were going to have the girls wait outside while they quickly went in and did their business. Once done they would come back out and find a place to lay low.

In the end they would rather risk fighting zombies all night than get captured by the gang boss.

They would have to give up some of their loot to get into the town, but the rewards outweighed the risks.

Finally they started to move towards the town!

I was getting excited as I was finally going to see a small part of humanity that hadn't been destroyed. Say what you will, a town is a town, a piece of society that is from before the apocalypse. Sure it was being lorded over by a gang boss, and wasn't going to be the safest place, but I still wanted to see it.

I needed to see something of the society I once knew.

Following after them I finally saw huge walls that were indicative of a medieval culture. I was completely gob smacked as I stared at the 10 meter walls. Made out of a brick like material, the remains of buildings were littered on the ground and around the place.

I think I know what caused all that noise from before. Even the group that I had been following was standing still in place, stunned in awe. I could even hear one of their voices.

"When did this get here?"

Yeap this was a new installment, this wasn't here before.

What the h.e.l.l is that G.o.d up to?

Finally after a few minutes the group split, 2 guys made their way towards the huge gate while the other 3 went a different direction. They would meet somewhere else. Well I didn't need to follow them anymore.

I could see the town wall, and I knew I had to go have a look around. I still had the problem of what to do with Ella, so I considered it as I moved.

We moved around a bit, so we wouldn't be seen by the other group and made our way closer. Once we were about 50 meters off, something happen that I wasn't expecting.

*Ting*

A soft sound went out from next to me as Ella was stopped in place. A s.h.i.+mmer of light was blocking in front of her and making it impossible to advance. Ella frowned at the s.h.i.+mmer and tried harder to make her way through.

The s.h.i.+mmer became more prominent at the force and sent a small wave back towards Ella. The wave knocked her off her feet and forced her back. Landing on her backside I rushed over to help her up, while staring at the disappearing s.h.i.+mmer.

As I was staring at it a small blue window popped up in my face.
