This Time You Are Mine 308 Mrs. Yvory Smith-Gray 2

Once the couple is already settled inside, Edward and the rest of the security let the media in the mall to take their respective positions as well. Since this is a launching event, ribbon cutting is essential. Per Stones' staff requests, Yve will also cut the ribbon with Vince. Yve has no problem with it as she came as Vince's wife after all. She will be granting the staff's request without giving away her involvement in the project unwantedly. 

As part of the event, Vince gives a speech in front of everyone else and explains why he considered this project essential and a must in a critical period for Stones' Enterprises. The people and media are in awe hearing Vince's speech but in reality it is a speech made by Yve. Last night, Vince asked Yve's help on what to say.

"Yve, can you help me with my speech tomorrow at the event?" Vince asks his wife while rubbing Yve's belly who is lying beside him.

"Sure but wouldn't it sound different from the usual ones that you give?" Yve asks her husband as she sits up on their bed.

"It's fine. The staff will know that it's actually you who's talking and I'm just a representative. To be frank, it should be you who's giving the speech as you thought of this, planned and took action. You're the leader and the brains behind this project." Vince smiles at her wife who grabs the laptop from him and starts to key in the some words.

"Let me make you some hot chocolate while you write down those thoughts into words. Would you like any biscuits or something?"

"Just a sandwich, make it very light please." 

"Roger that, Mam."

As Vince thought it would be, the staff understands the words really well. They also realize that it's Yve's words speaking to them. They all smile as they feel the respect and happiness Yve has for them, especially in the last line of Vince's speech.

"This project is not only mine but it's from all of us. Planning and execution should always go together. I'm thankful to the staff and I'm looking forward to working with you in other projects." 

After the speech, media are given the chance to ask questions regarding the project and Edward is in front to answer all the questions. Each reporter and journalist have only one chance to ask so the section finishes in a blink of an eye.

With the question and answer already in the bucket, the s.p.a.ce is now open to the public for them to see and take pictures of the output. Yve informs Vince that she will visit the team for a short while and with Edward's help, she is successful in sneaking in.

"Ms. Yve!" They all exclaim and look really happy to see her.

"Is everything alright?" Yve asks them.

"Yes. We are nearing the end of the event and so far everything is going as planned." 

"That's great! For the moment, I have heard a lot of good feedback from media and customers who are taking their pictures with the design and background we just made." Yve informs the team.

"Wow!!" They can only gasp in disbelief.

"I'm sorry I can't stay long as I have a matter to attend to this afternoon. However, reserve your Monday lunch with me. I'll treat to a meal. The company will inform you of the details. Okay?" 

"Thank you very much, Mam." They are all smiles in excitement. 

Once she bid farewell to the team, she heads back to where Vince is and whispers to the latter that she needs to go.

"I already instructed Sylvan to go to the office a little after you left earlier. Let's eat lunch together first."

"While looking like this?" Yve curiously asks Vince while holding her skirt a bit higher.

"Yeah. I reserved a private room in a Chinese restaurant within the mall. After eating, I'll drive you to SkyMu before I also do my afternoon schedule." Vince lays out all the afternoon plans he has.

"Okay, then." 

Vince calls Edward to inform his cousin that they're leaving. Edward understands that both have busy schedule that afternoon. So with Chrysthe as Yve's bodyguard and Eybelle with some other men under Team Alpha's tutorage in the shadows, the couple walks around the mall until they reach the restaurant. 

But with the event they just attended coupled with their looks and elegant clothes, people are staring at them as some would even take pictures. Vince allows it so Eybelle and Chrysthe don't stop the people from doing so. 

"If anytime you feel uncomfortable with the attention we are getting, just tell me and we can ask Chrysthe and Eybelle to stop them." Vince gently offers her an option.

"It's fine for now at least. I have to get used to this though so you can say that this is a practice. I'm quite happy and comfortable to be doing it with you." Yve smiles at Vince as they continue to walk while holding each other's hands.

Finally, they arrive at the restaurant and the customers who are eating inside stop eating to stare at them and take pictures.

"That's Mr. Vincent Gray with his wife, right?" 

"I think so. What is her name again?"

"Mrs. Yvory Smith-Gray?"

People are gossiping and confirming their hunches through the online articles released as the couple walks towards their reserve room.

"She's pretty and elegant." 

"That's true but I wonder about her intelligence though. We haven't heard of her educational background or anything."

"She's a business student at St. Michael's Academy." 

"She's late at studying…."

Vince's ears are getting tired of the negative gossips he's hearing and is about to give them a piece of his thoughts but Yve stops him.

"You don't need to stop every one each and every time." Yve whispers at his slightly angered husband and gently pulls him closer to their reserved rom. 

"But they're talking bad things about you."

"They don't know me and it's a bit my fault because of the lack of articles and information on me. Let them give that level of first impression on me. Soon, they will realize they're wrong." 

"You mean once you reveal you're SkyMu's president as well?"

"Yes. Now let's eat. My tummy's a bit hungry." 

The two ignore the customers whispering about them and enters the private room Vince has reserved where they earn their solemn time. The manager of the restaurant personally serves them as the couple enjoys the delicious dishes placed on their table.
