This Time You Are Mine 31 King And The White Knigh

While Yve is getting ready for the board meeting, I also need to do some work. Although I was productive yesterday, there were still some left over work which I need to finish. I signed some papers, then I saw the envelope containing the logo of Stones Enterprises. This must be the materials for today's meeting. I always do my work about Stones in my penthouse. Stones will always have a special place in my heart.

I opened the envelope and read the doc.u.ments. Yve was right! Her family is planning to have the board decide. But sad to say, their plans will fail with Yve showing up.

After reading the details, I decided to dress myself up as this board meeting is a special one among the rest.

I went to my dressing room and opened the cabinet I rarely open. This cabinet contains the limited edition suits which I got from friends, some from business partners but most of them came from my mother who is a famous fas.h.i.+on designer. She would always give me a piece of her most precious suit collection. Most of the suits are so fas.h.i.+onable that I can't afford to wear them on a daily basis.

Among all the suits inside, one piece seems to call my attention. It is my mom's 2018 winter collection piece. It's a 3 piece set that involves a coat, polo and pants. The pants is black in color while the polo was white. I like how simple these colors look but when mixed with the carmine red coat, the whole set looked so elegant.

I looked myself at the mirror as I wear the suit. It looks nice. My mother really knows my size and it seemed like this suit was created for me to wear.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!! Overconfident, aren't we, Vince!!!

The set feels so comfortable but something is missing to make it more different from the other 9 suits which my mother released. Then I remembered the Hermes belt that Edward got me last year.

I went to the accessories cabinet. As I open the first drawer, the missing piece for my look caught my eye. It was a couple pin collar and lapel brooch. They were crown shaped which are comprised of white crystals. They look so elegant and I also want Yve to wear the same brooch as I am. I took the box out of the cabinet as well as the belt. I immediately wore the male brooch and the belt. Now my suit only needs a pair of shoe but I thought my usual pair was fine. Then I looked back at the accessories cabinet.

I approached it again and opened another box. The second box was the family heirloom. When my dad died, my mother gave me the female family heirloom to be given to my future wife. It is a ribbon shaped hair comb. Ruby, which is our family's traditional color is its feature accessorized by diamonds. It has been pa.s.sed on to different female counterparts in our family but its beauty is timeless. You can still compare it to the latest designs of hair pieces. I bet it will also look elegant in Yve's hair.

"Oh, bro. Red for war or red for celebration?"

"What do you mean?"

"You will know later. Anyways, is that the Gray family heirloom I see in your hands?"

"Yup. I was thinking if I should give it to Yve."

"h.e.l.lo!!! The h.e.l.l you're confused!! You should give it to her!

"What if…."

"Bro, it will also prove to the board that you are very serious about her and your relations.h.i.+p."

"But if Yve…."

"She won't be. Trust me on this one." Ed said and moved his two eyebrows in agreement.

"Okay, then. By the way, what are you doing here?"

"Ah, yes, I almost forgot. Can you lend me one of your suits?"

"Sure. Go ahead and pick anything you like, except…"

"Yes, that limited edition cabinet. Aunt will kill me if she saw my picture wearing one of her masterpieces instead of her son."

I nodded in agreement. "I'll leave you here then. I will go and see how Yve's preparation is going."

"Okay."

Holding the 2 boxes with me, the family heirloom and the couple brooch, I left Edward in my dressing room.

EDWARD's POV

This room really amazes me. He has so many clothes and all of them are from top-notch brands. But what I like about him is his kindness. He auctioned his clothes every year and gives the money to different charities. So the abundance of the clothes in this room always amazes me.

I looked at the different suits and most of them are arranged by color. Vince and Yve are the main protagonists so I don't want to overshadow them. I decided to pick one of his dark gray suits.

Why did I pick this suit if it's one of his many dark gray suits?

Simple! It's because of the white polka dots lapel flower pin attached to the suit. Most of my cousin's suits are custom made and came from his own fas.h.i.+on idea so they come as one piece. Without thinking twice, I decided to wear the suit.

Looking myself in the front of the mirror, I can't help but think that sometimes, clothes can make a person. With his dark gray suit on, I look like a different person. Having the same size as him makes me happy as I get to share his clothes. Although, the past few months, I only look fine if I borrow his suit. It seemed like he has been working out, without me knowing about it. His s.h.i.+rts are bigger than usual and some of his suits are even bigger for me.

I think I should also do some work out….

Nahh, no one will still appreciate me even if I do.

But, still, I admit this suit really looks nice. I wonder who gave this to Vince. Enough about me, I need to check Vince's reaction. I can't afford to miss his reaction when he sees Yvory.
