This Time You Are Mine 318 Hardworking Nights 2

Vince and Yve are eating their breakfast quietly and this has been bugging Yve ever since. She keeps on asking herself whether Vince is angry at her for waking up early and doing her school works. After eating their breakfast, Yve finally asks Vince.

"Are you mad at me?" 

This question causes Vince to stop was.h.i.+ng the dishes and to look at her. 

"No, of course not! What makes you think I'm angry at you?" Vince wipes his hands and approaches Yve who's standing near the dining table.

"You were quiet during breakfast and I don't really know, maybe because I woke up early and did my homework instead of sleeping… I don't, I don't really know. I just have this feeling." Yve's explanation turns into a mess.

Vince puts his hands on Yve's shoulders causing her to look at him. Vince can see a mixture of emotions like fear and sadness from Yve's eyes. 

"I'm not angry. When I woke up, I got a little scared but I decided to search around first, then I found you, making your projects. I asked Chrysthe since when. So to make the story short, you remembered to eat when you're hungry and you weren't sleepless that's all that matters." Vince hugs his wife as comfort.

"Are you sure about that?"

"Yes. I understand with your very schedule, lack of sleep is inevitable. But I hope that when you're not busy, you'll catch with your sleep. Just never forget to eat meals on time and when you feel hungry." 

After hearing Vince's rules which a.s.sure her that he isn't mad, Yve smiles and wraps her arms around her husband tighter.

"Thank you. Now why don't you let me finish around here and you can go ready for work. I just need to change my clothes so I'll be fine." 

"Okay." 

So Yve cleans everything up while Vince walks back to their room to get ready for work. Soon after that, both of them are ready to go to their respective offices. 

Inside the car, Yve receives a message from Vince.

"I forgot to tell you this morning. I made a draft of your potential presentation for the investors tomorrow. I based it on your video statement you sent for editing. Sylvan informed me you haven't started it yet. Just don't forget the meeting will be tomorrow night."

She smiles and sends a simple "Okay" reply to her husband. 

Yve looks inside her bag to check the papers that Vince made last night. She reads the contents and realizes how good her husband is. He was able to deduce her plans just from the video presentation and her latest projects. 

'I'll just edit some of these details to make the approach mine and not his.' Yve thinks it through and marks the paper as for editing. 

"Sylvan, what's my schedule for this morning?" 

"Nothing, Young Madam. I left your schedule free."

"I see. Then call the creative director for a meeting at my office first thing."

"Roger that." 

After her meeting with the creative director, both of them agreed with the design and the invitations, tickets and posters are ready for print-out. All morning, Yve is busy with the meetings for the concert and awards night. She even checks on the details with the final music video and drama finale.

She decides to have working lunch for the day and reads the profile of the investors while going over the media presentation his husband made. Her lunch is made of steamed pork chop cut into thin strips and Caesar salad with sauce. Vince even packed grapes for her. 

'I think he already took into consideration that I will eat while working. He's really sweet.' Yve thinks as she enjoys her meal. 

By the time she finishes her lunch, she types into details and focuses more on editing. Given a few more minutes, Yve sends the file to Sylvan for printing and coincidentally, Sylvan comes knocking at her door.

"It's time, Young Madam."

"I understand. By the way, I sent you the file for the investor's meeting tomorrow night. Please have it printed and put it on my desk."

"I understand." 

Soon after giving the final instructions, Yve finds herself at the school premises. As she gets off the car, Lester and the rest of her groupmates are already there waiting for her.

"Uhh… are we supposed to meet at an earlier time?" Yve asks them with a hint of doubt in her face.

"No! We accidentally met some at the cafeteria while the rest just after the campus gate." Lester answers. 

"Ohh, I see. By the way, I have sent the final output for our first group project. Have you seen it?" 

"Just this morning though. I will print it tonight and we can submit it tomorrow." 

"Okay." With that short conversation they walk towards their cla.s.sroom waiting for their first period professor. 

"By the way Yve, have you asked about our Sunday meeting?" 

Yve exclaims and immediately bows to her group mates. "I forgot to ask him last night. Don't worry. I'll give him a call now." 

Yve runs outside their room and walks towards the end of the hallway where she finally calls her husband.

"Vince, are you busy?"

"No, it's fine. What's wrong?" 

Vince casually answers his wife but contrary to what he replied, he's actually in a meeting with the managers of one of the companies under Gray Group. One manager is actually in front reporting when Vince's phone rang earlier. Their president picks up his phone and smiles when he hears the other person. 

'It must be Mrs. Gray.' They all thought and thank her for a brief moment of relaxation. 

"I would like to ask you something." Yve's sweet voice is clear to Vince's ears.

"Hmm… What is it?" 

"You know our Sunday promise, right?" 

"Hmm…" Vince turns around with his back facing the managers as he stares at the beautiful skysc.r.a.per's view from the gla.s.s window wall.

"Can I have this Sunday as an exception?" Yve's voice is shaking a bit while waiting for Vince's answer.
