This Time You Are Mine 324 Investor's Dinner 2

As the car drives farther away, Yve notices that the road seems to be going to the main office of n.o.ble. They're supposed to have a dinner meeting with some of his trusted investors, just to try to get some of her company's own. Confused on what's happening, she asks Vince.

"Why are we going to Mom's? 

"Hmm… to be precise we're going to her boutique to get you a dress." 

"A dress? But I thought we're going to a meeting. Is it cancelled?" 

"No. It's a dinner meeting, yes but it's after office hours. I don't want them to think that you're more of a student." 

"I could use my suit this morning." 

"You'll look stiff with that business attire."

"So you want me to wear a dress instead?" 

"Yup. Since it's after work, it will not be good to act all business. Plus you're an entertainment company president. Showing that you have a good fas.h.i.+on sense will give them a very good impression of you regarding your capability." Vince explains in full details.

"Now I understand. Thank you for enlightening me on subtle details like this." Yve smiles as they finally arrive at the boutique.

Rose instantly stands up and leads the way to the VIP dressing room where Yve can try out some of the dresses Maddie had chosen for her last night. However not seeing Maddie in the boutique got Yve all curious so while changing into one of the dresses, Yve asks Rose.

"Rose, if you don't mind me asking, where is Mom at the moment?"

"Oh, she's meeting a rich teen who's going to have a debut in a certain yacht." 

"Wow! A rich heiress so to say."

"Yes but the kid is a bit special so Miss Maddie had to go all the way to her house."

"I see. So how's the construction going?" 

"Almost done. I'm liking the changes I see in my office." Rose compliments the design as well as Yve's swift and creative decision weeks back.

After trying out some dresses, Yve choses a light green dress with flower patches making it look like a living black flower garden. When the curtain is finally opened once more, Vince can't seem to take his eyes off her. 

"I've never seen you in green before." Vince compliments the new feeling and look of his wife.

"Green isn't really my favorite but I thought why not try something new. It's Mom's design so I know I'll be fine."

"You're more than just fine. You look really beautiful in that dress." Vince smiles as he circles his arm around Yve's waist once more. It became a habit for him and her waist became a very comfortable place for his hand to stay put keeping Yve within his reach. 

"Rose, may I have the perfect pair for this dress?"

Yve's hand is opens up and waits for something to be given as she stares into her husband's face. As an answer, Rose hands over a green and black tie into her hand. Yve gladly receives it and ties it perfectly around Vince's neck. Almost finished with the necktie, Yve notices that Vince's face changes in color.

"Are you doing okay, Vince?" Yve anxiously asks him as she knows how busy Vince has been and his body might be asking for a reimburs.e.m.e.nt. 

"I'm fine. It's just this is the first time you've placed a necktie around me." 

"This is really the first time? I'm not sure about it." The couple just laughs at the idea they aren't sure whether it's really the first time but they love it.

"Thank you very much for all of your help, Rose. Take care." Yve and Vince bids farewell to Maddie's secretary with a smile on their faces as they leave the boutique and drive to the location of their dinner.

"Where is this dinner by the way?" Yve asks as she beautifies inside the car.

"It's in one of Haru's restaurants. They really like it when I treat them with some of his famous dishes."

"So this will be a private room dinner, right?" 

"Of course. Don't be so scared. I'm right beside you and I'll do what I can to support you." Vince places his free hand on top of his woman and squeezes it gently. 

"Thank you so much." 

"Now, just wait for my cue before you begin reporting. This might not be even you're final meeting."

"Meaning, the actual program and presentation might not be needed tonight. It will be just like a verbal agreement."

"Oh but we prepared all those files yet they're not needed?" 

"Not at the moment. But in case they will ask you for it, at least you're prepared." Vince comforts his wife as they are few meters away from the restaurant. 

It's a difficult yet exciting dinner for Yve and Vince but it's definitely a lonely one for Jenny and Steve as they are in different sides of the world. Jenny is eating her dinner in the long dining table in their house. She's very tired from a very long day filled with projects. The good side of it is that she, along with her team, managed to finish one group project and is now moving on their second project. She is doing a pretty good job with her individual projects as well. Meanwhile, Steve is busy working while eating his breakfast. He's working on the bidding project from the email he got. He is willing to give it all of him to win the bid and go home as a winner even if just for only one project. 

'Wait for me, Jenny. Your brother will return soon with an achievement.' Steve thinks as he is munching his light breakfast.

Back at the lovely couple in black and green, they have arrived safely in the restaurant and are welcomed by the manager of the restaurant.

"Good evening, Mr. and Mrs. Gray. Your guests have just arrived a few minutes after you and are waiting inside one of our private rooms." The manager informs them.

"Thank you for the information." Vince thanks the manager but as they are about to walk deeper into the restaurant, Yve stops the manager.

"I would like to request a special menu for tonight's dinner. Will that be alright?" Yve asks.

"As long as it's a creation by Chef Haru we can have it served."

"Perfect! I think it's already included in his cookbook or directory or whatever you called it. The set of dishes he served during our wedding. I want those for tonight's dinner." 

"I see. But Mrs. Gray some of the dishes take a while to prepare which might be difficult."

"I see. Then just make sure the desert is retained and for the dishes just have whatever my husband has pre-ordered for them." Yve instructs the manager politely.

"Glad to be of service, Mrs. Gray." With the meal secured, the couple walks to the private room where their investors are waiting for them.

Just outside the door, Vince asks his wife a very important and decisive question that might change the entire future of SkyMu.

"Are you ready?"

"I'm afraid I'll never be but I have to, right?"
