I was nervous when the elevator door suddenly opened. Good thing it was only Edward.

"Good thing, you're finally here! Everyone is waiting in the conference room. Guess what, Yve?" Edward said as we get off the elevator.

"What?" I'm still in shock so I can't think of any answer.

"Airis is here."

"Oh. We saw them earlier."

Now that I'm in the same floor as the rest of the board, I really felt the reality that it's now o never. I was beginning to worry.

"Are you okay, Yve?" Vince asked me.

I looked at him and said, "Yeah. I think I can still handle it."

Edward guided us to the meeting room when a familiar voice called Vince's name.

"Vince!"

We halted and Vince turned around first to look who it was.

"Airis?"

I was right. The voice belongs to Airis.

"Vince, who is the young lady beside you? Your new secretary?"

REALLY? What is the coincidence that I'll be judged as his secretary twice in a row.

I turned around and said, "NO! I'm his future wife!"

Her face looked shocked and pale. It was like all the blood was sipped out of her body.

"Y-Y-Yve?! What are you doing here?"

"You don't even remember your sister's face?" What a change in Airis' appearance. I used to remember her as a simple girl but now…..

I look at her from head to toe and back then I said, "Are you also here to attend the meeting? But you look like..." Then I clung to Vince's arm which he readily accepted.

Airis saw it and she looked so mad. This time it looked like too much blood had returned and it will burst out soon. She was wearing a light gray coat paired with pants having the same color. But to other guys' delight, she wore a black lace tube as an inner layer showing her belly b.u.t.ton. She looked like she was there to attract attention from all the male employees not as a business woman.

"Don't you recognize this clothing line, sis?" She responded.

"Of course I do. It's one of the most expensive and fas.h.i.+onable line. But don't you think that what you're wearing isn't appropriate here?"

"Wha….." Airis took a big sigh and asked, "How about you? What do you think you're doing here?"

"If you will attend the meeting you will know. After all, I don't like repeating myself to the same person twice. Ed, please show me the way."

Ed got my idea and followed my instruction. I let Vince handle the rest about Airis. I'll just wait for Vince outside the meeting room.

VINCE's POV

Yve is really feisty today. She can handle herself in front of Airis very well. I guess it only shows how determined she is in getting the company back.

After giving Ed the clue, they left me with Airis. I know that my Queen wants me to handle this issue with Airis on my own.

"Vince, since when have you been talking to my sister? Haven't you seen her real color?" Airis is clinging to my arm.

I pushed her arm aside and answered, "Yes, I have seen another side but it's definitely not Yve's."

"Vince, you're being fooled by my sister!"

I decided to walk away because I know that Yve will be waiting for me and the meeting is about to start.

"VINCE!!!"

I stopped walking but didn't look at her.

"Remember the deal when Stones saved Gray Group. You're bound to me."

After hearing those words, I continued walking.

I was thinking to myself, "Be my guest in implementing that agreement. After all, you're not the real heiress."

AIRIS's POV

Oh my! What should I do?! Yve is here!!!

No words can express how horrified I am. Yve is here when we planned to have her remove from the list of CEO candidates. She even appeared with Vince. I thought that Vince wasn't a.s.sociated with any girls. I need to call Mom.

"h.e.l.lo, Mom?"

"Yes, sweetie? The meeting is about to start. I'm on my way to the meeting room."

"Mom, you should see me first. I have something to tell you."

"What is it? Can't you not tell me over the phone or later during the meeting?"

"I can't. You need to know this before attending the meeting."

"What is it?"

"MOM!!"

"JUST TELL ME ALREADY!!"

"YVE IS HERE!!!"

"What did you just say?"

"Yve will be attending today's meeting!"

"How did.. Where are you?" My mom asked.

After I told my mother my location, I ended the phone call. A few minutes later, she arrived.

"Can you repeat what you said over the phone?" My mom asked.

"Yve is here! She is accompanied by Vince and his cousin, Edward."

"How did she..?"

"I don't know, MOM! I was suppose to ask you that! You said that Yve obeyed your agreement."

"She has been obeying it. But I underestimated her. I didn't know she can think this way. But don't worry my princess, this empire will still be yours." Mom patted back trying to console me.

"But, Mom, Yve was so fierce when we met earlier. She's like a different person."

"She can't last that way forever. I doubt if she even has the fangs to show the board of directors."

My mom hugged me and said, "We should now go to the meeting."

With my mom by my side, I know I can win any battles but I don't know why I feel that something isn't right. It feels like Yve is ready for whatever will happen. Her amazing strategies that saved Gray Group came flas.h.i.+ng back to my mind. And speaking of Gray Group, does Vince knew that it was Yve behind those plans? What is their relations.h.i.+p? Are they back together? Or wait, did they ever really break up?

"My dear, let's come in. Show them an executive side of you. You are attending this meeting as the president of the Sky Music Entertainment. Mommy is here to protect you."

"Okay, mom! Let the games begin!"
