This Time You Are Mine 46 Additional Task

VINCE's POV

I am on a cloud nine now. Finally, she admitted it. This is not how I thought my prank will end but who cares? The most important thing is that both of us are a.s.sured of each other's feelings. Now, if only everything will fall into place then maybe Yve can have the happy ending she deserves.

Yve and I have already finished our lunch and are now on our way to SkyMu. I am going to drop her off as Ed will come with me back to Gray Group because of the hectic afternoon I have. Yve was fine with it since she didn't have any scheduled meeting as well.

Inside the car, Yve is listening to the songs of the other artists from SkyMu. She said, she's planning to meet all of them and even the trainees, just to give them the boost. She was also holding her tablet on the other hand while the other hand was just there on top of the pa.s.senger seat enjoying the beat of the songs.

I really want to hold her hand, if not only because I need to drive the car as well. Ughh!! I also don't want to have Ed drive this car because we will not have the privacy we need then. I am torn between these two good moments. What should I do? Am I considered evil for wanting so?

As the scenery change from nature to cityscapes I began to realize that our lunch time will be over soon. Like there was a telepathy between the two of us, Yve removed her headphones, so I decided to ask.

"Have you finished listening?"

"No. I just listen to their t.i.tle tracks and just like with Hyacinth, the songs have too much similarities." Then she took a deep sigh, so I began to worry.

"What's wrong? Can't you not compose another song for them?"

"Well, I thought I can but their genre is different from mine and their vocals are not that stable yet to go after drama soundtracks or ballad. They will still need a loud accompaniment."

"Oh, I see."

Then when the traffic allowed me, I peek at her and noticed how worried she is. I can actually help her with the music since we also used to make songs together as G&S, but I am not yet sure about my upcoming schedule after all aside from Gray Group, I still need to investigate Mr. Smith's death and her recent car accident. But I really want to help…..

"When do you plan to release an alb.u.m for them?"

"Well, around one month after Hyacinth releases her mini-alb.u.m. I know there is still a lot of time but since this group still needs to practice, it would be better to have a longer preparation."

"Hmmm… how about I help you compose their songs?" I said as we finally arrive outside the SkyMu building.

"REALLY?" We are now facing each other and heaven knows how happy and excited she looks now.

"But I can only do it at home. Will that be fine?"

"YES, TOTALLY. Thank you very much, KING. See you later."

She said then kissed me on the cheeks and ran as fast as she can inside the building. While I was left astounded by her ambush attack. When did my Queen learned these kind of tricks?

YVE's POV

Gasping for breath, I entered the elevator doors. I was so happy when Vince offered his help about the songs. I know he is very busy but he still find time for me. I need to make it up somehow. I need to make sure that the lyrics are written and the theme of the alb.u.m are well prepared before we have our session.

So now, I am in the office writing the lyrics of the songs when I heard a knock on my door.

"Yes? Come in."

Then I saw a young woman whom I never met before. Well, I haven't had the chance to tour the building yet and meet the local management team of SkyMu.

"Ms. Smith, good afternoon. Mr. Edward sent a message in company office board to approach you if we have anything to report especially during the afternoon, when he's not around."

"Yes, that's correct. And you are?" I asked the young woman while remaining seated.

"I'm from the Training Department."

"Oh yes, please have a seat." I said and pointed to the couch in front while heading that way.

"Thank you, Ms. Smith." Then she gladly sat down.

When she saw me sat down, she gave the papers containing the information I asked.

"Those are the report cards of all the artists and trainees of SkyMu."

"Thank you. I can read these reports later but can you give me a brief overview?" I asked her as I flip through the papers.

"Yes. As of the moment, majority of the groups have individual training which aimed to focus on their strengths as it is their respective roles."

"You mean like if you're the main vocal, you will focus on vocal training?"

"Yes."

"How about their weaknesses and group practices?"

"Uhmm, it was given a minimal time. Improving other skills take up only 8 hours in a week while the group practices have 20 hours in a week. It will increase if the group will be in a show or will have their alb.u.m release."

What was Airis thinking with this kind of training?! I need to change even the training regimen.

"Can you set me a meeting with all the chief trainers per skill tomorrow afternoon?"

"Of course, Ms. Smith. But can I ask for the agenda?"

"Reformulation of the training regimen."

"Okay, Ms." She stood up and I also did the same.

"Thank you very much for this information. You may go now."

With that on cue, the lady went out of my office. I guess I have another task added to my long list of works. I also need to brace for a meeting with them. They may have liked the current training and I have to explain the importance of changing the training. But wait… how about Hyacinth's report card?
