My Stubborn Mistress 331 Somewhere, Trapped In Time: She Felt Jealous

Quinn guided Ca.s.sandra inside were Levi and Madison waited for them. Her heart stopped upon having sight of a person who truly resembles her a lot.

And Madison feels the same way. She cannot explain, but her heart throbbed merrily.

"Finally, I meet you!" Ca.s.sie expresses happily.

"Honestly, I am anxious to meet you too!" Madison retorted, and they both cried. She and Ca.s.sandra hugged each other while their eyes flooded with tears.

"I'm so glad you were back," uttered Madison after they stopped crying.

"I heard from Quinn, you are bringing them into time-traveling to look for me. Thank you."

"Nah. It is the least I could do to help everyone," she replied then squeezes Ca.s.sie's hand before she continues. "But before you keep disappearing, Levi and I did already traveling time. It does surprise me seeing him. I did wonder how did he follow me. We concluded, that if someone holds on my hand, I can bring them with me."

That's right. Madison is wearing gloves now to avoid holding any hand to not lead unnecessary time traveling.

"Then, it surprised me when Levi brought Papa. By that time, I still have no idea how I brought someone with me. Now that I know, I have to be cautious." She added.

"However, I have to learn more about my capability. I am still clueless about it."

"Quinn mentioned Lady Isabella. She's the one who knew everything, right?"

"Yes. Lady Isabella who raises me. I witnessed the time she'd full asleep during a few events of her time traveling. But still, she told me that there are things she has no knowledge about. That is why she travels to Brazil to seek Shamans' guidance."

"Brazil? And she lives in Hungary, right?"

Madison nodded and peered at Ca.s.sie who stays silent for a long moment. "Are you thinking, that there is a possibility that you will disappear again?" her tones are troubled.

"I don't know. It's just a hunch. Or maybe because I am scared to wake up into another life once more."

Ca.s.sie's hold on her hand is tightening. She could feel her apprehension. And so, she hugged Ca.s.sie once again.

"I will find you no matter what," she promised.

"Please, watch for yourself as well. Quinn told me that your health is at stick when you travel farther time."

Madison shook her head. "No. I will do everything I could to learn how to use and handle this gift I have. I began to believe, this is a gift to help the people dear to me."

Tears trail down her cheeks. "Thank you."

While the two girls talking to themselves, Quinn already made a phone call to Hannah and share the wonderful news. Instantly, they drove back to the Montfort Mansion. Ca.s.sandra runs toward her parents and hugs them so tight.

"Mama! Papa!" she cried.

"Honey, we missed you so much!" Landon did not let go of his daughter. "I am sorry if Papa were bad before."

"I missed you both so much too, Papa! You and Mama. Also, you need not apologize. I am sorry if I am such a hard-headed person."

"Of course not, honey. We just wanted you to come back home." Hannah told her daughter.

That day, a merry celebration held at Montfort Mansion. Blaire and Meisha canceled their flight to stay another day and join the joyous gathering. The poolside filled with laughter and happy faces. She watches each of these faces and makes it sure to remember them.

"Hey, what's the matter?" asked Quinn, while handed her a gla.s.s of fresh orange juice.

Ca.s.sie shook her head then smiled. "Nothing. I was just glad I am here again with almost everyone." She's missing the others. Joanna, brother Daichi, and the people that become dear to her.

Quinn grasps both of her hand then brought them close to his chin. "I was happy too. I don't know what am I going to do if you disappeared once again."

"If that happens, I will wait for you."

"Ca.s.sandra?" fear and sadness flashes into his eyes. He prayed that it won't happen once more.

"You will look for me, right?"

"I will turn upside this world— no. I will turn upside down this entire universe just to find you and bring you back to me."

She was just holding her tears. "And I will wait... No matter what, I will wait for you."

Quinn kissed her forehead and said. "Let us not talk about this, okay? Stay here, I'll get you something to eat."

Ca.s.sie nodded. She watches Quinn striding toward the table. Almost there's nothing different to the Quinn from that lifetime. But the one from there was living in loneliness, almost lifeless. She shook her head. Thinking the Quinn from that life; it throbs her heart strangely.

She picked up her phone to distract herself. She checks out what is happening to this world from days she was gone. Ca.s.sie first browses the world news, then she notices the headlines in show business are she and Quinn. So, they truly went on a date last night?

In these pa.s.sing days, that she is in someone's body, she feels like; she does not recognize her anymore. It is her body, but at that moment the consciousness belongs to someone else. Truly it was her from the life that does not exist anymore but it will always feel strange.

She felt jealous. A funny thing, she was jealous of herself. Looking at the photos, it feels likely Quinn was with somebody else because she has no memories of those occasions. She wonders what other things they do during the times she disappears. Ah, what she's thinking? She shouldn't bother about these things.

Quinn caught when her face frowning. He glances at her phone and saw the article about the last night's dinner date. He smirked amusingly at her expression. Although it was her own body, to think she was not the one inside, and she felt jealous.

Quinn steps closer and sits next to her. Ca.s.sandra closes the app and opens her Instagram. She receives hundreds of messages from Joanna. This time, she was smiling. Quinn cherishes these rare chances he could witness her random expression through her emotion.

And one thing that he'd notice is that she seems to become a lot maturer than before. This body s.h.i.+fting or soul switching; molded her into a more interesting lady... She looks tougher, and the aura that spilling out her body is das.h.i.+ng. Somehow, she's brought up as an independent, already... but she was also pampered by the luxury her parents provided her. However, he had witnessed that she did not spoil herself but still living simply. She will be more happy with too simple things that you give her. Something that unique about her. And he cannot help falling in love with her simplicity.

There is no one in this world he will cherish this way. Quinn's thoughts.

Ca.s.sandra turns head to his direction and caught him staring at her lovingly. She gives him a puzzled look, which he answered with a quick kiss on her cheek. She giggles.

"Hmm... you were laughing at me," he pouted.

This time, Ca.s.sie laugh soundly. She sees how adorable Quinn acting like a teenager which last night... ah, last night. Suddenly, her cheeks burning.

"Ah, you're seducing me this time, aren't you?"

"Seducing?" her eyes grow wider that makes her look so charming.

"You tempt me to kiss you right here," Quinn whispered that make her blush overmuch. Then he caught that silly smile flashes on her lips.

Ca.s.sandra leans and pulls him by his right shoulder. She then whispered... "I love you."

Quinn froze to his seat. Desires burning on his eyes, but he immediately calms himself and heaves a deep sighed. Ca.s.sandra daringly bit his ear that sent him to the edge of the couch. She's even a naughty one!

"Silly girl should punish. Now you dare to torture me?" he flirts at her.

Ca.s.sie keeps giggling. Occasionally, the people around them keep glancing toward their direction. They began having a feeling that they were not needed in the first place, and these two want alone time together.

Landon wanted to separate these two. But he already swears that he will stop treating Quinn poorly. And let her daughter becomes completely happy.
