My Stubborn Mistress 384 Somewhere, Trapped In Time: What Is Happening To Him?

In this life, Ca.s.sie and Quinn don't have any idea that they already found each other. However, it is not the perfect time for them to be together, but in three years from now on, everything will take place.

So I wonder how Quinn would tell Shun about her? I also wonder when that day happens, if I already turned back to my actual body. How if I stuck around here? What am I going to do then?

No. I should not trouble about these matters but cherish this moment instead, while Quinn was here with me. I should not waste these chances we have just to worry unnecessarily about the forthcoming. I shook my head. Tightly, I clasp Quinn's palm with mine.

Wandering around the Kyoto District, we visited all the nearby temples and museums as what plans we made. Using Quinn's phone, we took a lot of photos being together, but we can't keep them as we are not in our original bodies and Shun would be in confusion to have the pictures of Ca.s.sie saved in his Gallery.

"I will get us coffee!" I tell Quinn when we take a rest under a cherry tree. It held me a while before I turned back.

And on my way back, my eyes longing to find Quinn's silhouette. He's gone under the Sakura tree. But then I spotted him leaning on the temple, pressing his back on the wall, he is occupied on typing something on his phone. 

I paused and suited myself to stare at him for a little longer. Facing his left front view on me, I can't help but fall in love with him. The way my heart pounding, it engulfs me to the point I can't breathe. Strangely, my chest beating like this.

I was about to approach him when he reached his head, and he seems in pain… then slowly; he collapses on the ground.

"Quinn! What happened? Are you okay?" I ran toward him throwing the two cups of coffee in my hands.

He lost consciousness. Should I take him to the hospital? I don't know what is happening to him but I panicked. I have the fear, speculating that Quinn switches back to his real body and the one here now is Shun. 

What am I going to do? In my experiences in the past, I always felt like losing consciousness when I switched bodies with her from a different dimension.

Quinn! Don't go! I haven't bid goodbye for the last time, neither kissed you one time... I cried.

Letting my tears filled my eyes. I just watched them take him away from me and carried him toward an ambulance and brought to the nearby hospital.

"Quinn..." I debated inside my head whether to follow him in the hospital.

When he opens his eyes, and it was Shun, he should not see me and learn that Ca.s.sie is alive. If Shun will contact me, then it means Quinn still here. Now all I could do is wait until he woke up. Besides, I don't know if Quinn already left him clues about Ca.s.sie.

I heaved a long sighed. I felt too hopeless right now.

I followed Quinn in the hospital. I held up my hoodie and place it on a face mask. I inquired at the Information Station to ask which room they arranged for Quinn.

"Excuse me. Did a patient name Quinn take in this hospital?"

"Quinn?"

"Um. He lost consciousness that is why he brought in here. Um, Shun Crow is his real name."

"Ah, yes. We have a patient brought here an hour ago."

"Did he wake up already? Which room is he?"

"Can we know what is your relation to the patient?"

"Um. We are together before he lost consciousness. I was just away to buy something, but someone told me a foreign man brought to the hospital."

Finally, the information desk gave me the room number and the direction of the room. And first, I glanced around if anyone related to Shun was here. I found Brother Meisha outside the room, speaking to his phone. I guess, either sister Blaire or someone else that close to him in this life.

Not long after later, I see Quinn walked out of the room and Sister Riley follows him. I quickly hide. Walking away to this floor, my eyes caught the exit door. I rushed toward it while my tears ran down my cheeks.

He's gone, without me saying goodbye.

When I signed in the stairs, I sat on the steps and sobbed. I am alone again. I will be lonely once again. Quinn. Why you can't take me away from here?

Long past and my tears had stopped. I settled down and ready to go back to the hotel. I sat up when Shun's phone slipped from the pocket of my hoodie.

I picked it up and became curious. Debating, I open Shun's phone. Tears flooded my eyes once more. I see our photos. Confused, I am not sure if I should delete them. Shun shouldn't see them. It is not yet the right time. But I want to keep the photos.

I moved toward the first floor of this hospital and lingered around to see Shun check out. I hid again when I noticed them going out of the main door.

Shun... I need to find a way to give back his phone. Quinn leaves a lengthy message for Shun saved in his Notes. If ever he discovered this note, he then finally learned about Ca.s.sie being alive. Maybe I will add something to it?

I looked at the car leaving the hospital. It is time for me to head back. If Quinn still here, he memorized my phone number, he could contact me with any phone.

Staring at the phone, I think hard how I could hide the pictures. I have to do something. Using Shun's phone, I created a Google account and saved the photos. Making sure it successfully stored in backup storage online, I deleted all the photos where Quinn and I in it... but it splits my heart to delete them one by one, like slitting my chest open.

Deleted them, I left behind one photo. It took under the Cherry tree and the photo was taken from the angle of my left front view, but my face could distinctly recognize. This is enough clues for Shun.

To know she is alive.

Enough to inspire him and stop mourning after three long years. However, Ca.s.sandra's name is Ca.s.sie Castillo. I know it will take him long to find her, but by then, he has all the power and strength to protect her.

Hilton Tokyo Bay Hotel

"Shun, someone texted that someone found your phone and left it at the hospital."

"Hum..." his plain reaction. He ignores everything that Meisha is telling him. He could recall nothing since yesterday but the other night when he drowns himself with alcohol, again. 

How did he arrive in j.a.pan? And according to Meisha, he requested to take a commercial plane instead of the Crow Corporation private plane; booking the first-cla.s.s seat. But also said, he requested to swap his seat toward the economy cabin.

What is going on here? He could really can't remember anything.

Aside from this, he also checks in to another hotel around Chiba central and ignored all Meisha's calls. 

What he did last night? Why he is found unconscious at Kyoto?

"What is happening here, Meisha?"

"I should be the one asking you that Shun. What is happening to you? Does your illness bothering you?"

"Did I have a post-amnesia for one day?" he returned a question instead.

Meisha shrugged a shoulder. Even he also got confused if what was going on with Shun. He even shaves his face like, he appears a different person. 

Meisha is pondering something when his phone receives a message from Riley. After reading it, he shares with Shun.

"Your phone has now picked up and handed to Riley. She will be here soon."

"All right."

"Are you okay, for tonight's meeting with our j.a.panese business a.s.sociates?" Meisha asked him. He could tell that Shun hadn't with himself yet. 

"If you don't feel fine, Riley and I could attend instead."

"I will go. This is an important meeting."

"Then don't just disappear, would you?"

"Like what I am telling you, I remember nothing," Shun insisted.

"All right, then. If you say so, then let us wait for Riley. She ran a quick investigation."

Shun nodded. What is happening to him? He still can't get over, but keep asking himself.
