She looked at her ribbon and decided to toss in to the locker with her dirty unifrom, she then reactivated the locker and walked out. As she left the bathhouse she noticed that all eyes were following her as people whispered. Some in awe, others with malice. Ariana didn't care, she was on a mission and needed to find her family.
She walked out with her head held up high. She looked around and spotted the way she needed to go. She couldn't control her excitement any longer. With a giant smile Ariana ran towards the admittance building. Adults and teens were happily chatting with one another as they stood around. Ariana's heart was pounding like crazy, she scanned the area with her eyes, standing on her tip toes as she tried her best to locate her family. When she didn't see anyone she decided to start jumping up and down as she weaved in between people. "What are you doing?" She heard a familiar voice say as he spun her around. Gautam looked her over and instantly released her as if just touching her was something disgusting.
Ariana looked into her teacher's disdain filled eyes and held his gaze. "I'm here to see my family." Ariana answered with conviction. "Leave!" Gautam yelled too loudly causing many people to turn and look in their direction. Gautam gritted his teeth and grabbed Ariana's arm. "You're coming with me." He ordered as he tried pulling Ariana away. "No!" Ariana yelled as she tried to jerk away but to her surprise Gautam had more strength then she estimated. "No? You don't have a choice in the matter." Gautam sneered as he pulled her closer towards him. "MOM! MOM! GRANDMA! ROY! RIN! Somebody please!" Ariana screamed. This was all she could do. She didn't dare to harm her teacher with so many witnesses watching. "MOM!" She screamed louder.
Suddenly a fist went flying into Gautam's face, sending him flying to the ground. "What are you doing to my daughter?!" Lady Zula yelled. A gust of wind whirled around her, tossing her hair upwards as her vibrant red dress fluttered around her ankles. Her blues eyes were burning with murderous intent while her fist was raised, ready for another attack. "Mom?" Ariana called out as her knees gave out. "Whoa, I'm here too gorgeous!." Breeze said as he winked at Ariana before he helped her up. Ariana looked up and met his gaze. Breeze instantly blushed as he averted his gaze, pulling Ariana into an embrace. "You look different today." He said awkwardly. Ariana blinked a few times and then tried to stand on her own but Breeze refused to let her go.
"Sweetheart." Lady Zula called out when she saw that Gautam wasn't getting back up. She turned to look at Ariana and her eyes grew wide in horror. Ariana looked at her mother as she tried her best to push Breeze away. "Where is your ribbon?" Lady Zula asked cautiously. "I didn't want to waste time in drying my hair so I didn't put it on." Ariana said as she struggled against Breeze's embrace. Lady Zula jumped at Ariana pulled to two apart. She then wrapped her own arms around Ariana, pulling Ariana's face into her chest as she glared at Breeze.
Breeze instantly let Ariana go and raised his hands up in defense. "We need to leave." Lady Zula said firmly as she kept Ariana against her body. "What's the rush?" A voice called from the crowd. Lady Zula broke up into a cold sweat. The Headmaster was walking up to them with his daughter, son-in-law and two boys in tow. "h.e.l.lo." Lady Zula said cautiously as she tried to look for an escape route.
"Lady Drake, did you perchance find your adoptive daughter." The Headmaster said as he walked up closer, making sure that he said the word adoptive with great emphasis and volume. Ariana could feel panic rising up with in her. She wrapped her own arms around her mother's body, hopping that she would be left alone. "Yes but you know many people would never believe she is adopted as she looks and acts so much like me." Lady Zula said with an awkward laugh. "You don't say." The Headmaster said with a raised eyebrow. "Shula, Erik this is the child I told you about. A very bright girl, wise beyond her years. She actually scored a perfect score on the entrance exam and as her teachers have been informing me, still keeping that perfect score on her tests. I actually think she could be a great addition to our family." The Headmaster said as he gestured for his oldest grandson to step forward.
"Yes, mother, father I am actually," Ariana could hear Flint's voice filling the air, causing her whole body to start to tremble. The Headmaster was setting her up in front of so many people there was no way her mother could deny them.
"WHY ARE YOU HOLDING THIS WRETCHED CHILD?!" An enraged voice drowned out Flints while a suppressive aura surrounding the area. Ariana's eye flew wide open and in the next second was a blur of faces before she felt a burning pain. Ariana had her gaze fixed on the ground as she was hung off the ground from her elbow. She brought up her gaze and met a demonic Gregory. He was fuming, brows were knitted so tightly together that there was no gap while veins covered his forehead. Before Ariana could utter a single sound another slap hit her other cheek. It was too hard, she could hear ringing sound in between her ears as her vision started to blur.
