Us.h.i.+ looked down at the pile of flesh that once resembled Kei. He had beaten Kei to a near death state but this still was not enough to satisfy his rage. "W, cough, cough, w-why?" Kei said with great difficulty as bits of blood and teeth were coughed out. Us.h.i.+ squatted down and pulled up Kei's gaze by the roots of his hair. There eyes locked, Us.h.i.+ flashed a wicked smile that showcased his canines.

"Because your name is Kei Su and mine is Us.h.i.+ Kim." Us.h.i.+ said coolly. Kei's partially swollen eyes widened in horror. "U-u-u-u-us.h.i.+?" Kei stuttered as his remaining teeth chattered. "So you do remember me? Kei, my good friend, do you remember the terms in our little agreement?" Us.h.i.+ asked as his face slowly started to shroud in darkness, his golden eyes glowed murderous at Kei. "I-I-I." Kei repeated like a broken record.

"I-I-I." Us.h.i.+ laughed darkly as he openly mocked Kei. "Kei, Kei, Kei, you broke out deal and that makes me sad.... It's to bad you didn't run off when  you had the chance. I would have loved a good hunt." Us.h.i.+ growled causing Kei to tremble violently. "Well Kei, it's been a long time since everything started but I am truly happy to say it's my turn to collect." Us.h.i.+ laughed maniacally.

Kei involuntarily wet himself. A puddle started to form around his body. Us.h.i.+ stopped laughing instantly and looked at Kei with complete disgust. Kei was a pathetic mess and it didn't satisfy Us.h.i.+'s rage instead it made his blood boiled. He wanted to humiliate Kei more, this was not enough to make Kei regret being born.

Us.h.i.+ let Kei's hair go and watched as his mangled and swollen face bounce of the floor after it had impacted. "Waterboard." Us.h.i.+ instructed the other soldiers. The soldiers looked at one another with concern. "Regiment Commander... Apologies sir but if we waterboard this civilian he may very well die." One of the soldiers said as he stepped forward.

Us.h.i.+ looked at the soldier with a deathly glare. "This thing is not a civilian, he is a cold, blooded murderer. With all my personal matters set aside, do you believe I should give this thing a chance to redeem himself after what was found in the reports? Human trafficking of minors, shady business deals, illegal prost.i.tution rings from minors to the elderly, production and distribution of illegal drugs, 

possession and distribution of fire arms and supplying the black market with fresh organs. Go ahead show him mercy because I can't." Us.h.i.+ replied to the soldier.

The male soldier straightened his back. The soldiers resolve returned into his eyes. "No sir!" The soldier shouted. Us.h.i.+ moved his gaze to the other soldiers. "We believe in our Commander." The other shouted in unison. Us.h.i.+ nodded his head. "Make sure he lives we still want him to take my brother's place in jail." Us.h.i.+ instructed before walking out of the room. Us.h.i.+ could hear Kei's m.u.f.fled screams, he smiled to himself and walked out of the secret bas.e.m.e.nt.

Us.h.i.+ spent years learning to be the best of the best. He was know as a starving wolf, always looking for his next prey out in the field. Only if he had the courage to face Kyomi when she needed him the most instead of hiding for two years like a coward.

'I patiently waited to see that b.a.s.t.a.r.d put behind bars. I greeted my brother at the gates when he was released. He joined the army and became an oustanding soldier. Before I knew it 5 years went by. I spent those five years hunting down every sc.u.mbag that was a.s.sociated with Kei and brought every single one to justice. When I was done I went to where my men found.... Kyomi and Nurray.' Duko said calmly. 

Ariana couldn't stop her tears from spilling, she hugged Duko tightly as he continued his story. 'I pulled out my gun, pointed to my temple and wished to see Kyomi again. Then I pulled the trigger and killed myself.' Duko explained without hesitation. Ariana started to scream. Her heart was in so much pain.

The other Lumas rushed out to see what was wrong. They quickly spotted the two embracing on the porch stairs. They noticed that Duko started to glow a golden colour with swirls of pearl white. 'Duko?' Aroha called out. Duko gave Aroha a sad smile then shook his head no. Vasu nodded his head and started to round up the Lumas as Ariana screamed again.

He pushed everyone back inside, giving time for Duko to calm Ariana. "No more..." Ariana whispered after she calmed down. 'I met the G.o.ddess right after that. She said that I could get another chance in life if I accepted a mission. I didn't care, without my love my life was meaningless. She told me that I had done so much good in the world that I could have my wish. I could be reunited with my love, that we both would be reborn with our memories in tact but because I comitted suicide I needed to be punished too. If I was ever to find my love and told her who I was... she would be severely punished. Her pain will be my atonement.' Duko explained.

"This is not right at all. Something is wrong with how the G.o.ddess is doing things!" Ariana said bitterly as she embraced Duko. 'You can never tell her who I am Ariana. I don't know what will happen if you do. I can't risk her getting hurt because of me.' Duko said in a worried tone. "I know... I just hate this. I'm tired and done." Ariana admitted.

'You were right before. I actually feel in love with Aroha, she reminded me so much of Kyomi that I couldn't stop myself. After spending so much time with her I fell for Aroha not the shadow I saw but.... but to find out the truth... It hurts.' Duko said as he started to cry. "I will save you, I will save everyone and once I do, I will drag that G.o.ddess to my feet and slap her." Ariana growled as she released Duko from her embrace.

Duko looked at Ariana and smiled. 'I don't mind giving you pointers in regards to torture.' Ariana looked at Duko with shock. She then started to laugh whole heartedly. "I might take you up on that offer."
