"You act like you're the only one in this world that can't have a secret or two? We all have skeleton's in our closet but you were brave enough to bare yours." Gregory said awkwardly as he released his left arm. "No I'm not. I still have one more person to tell, someone really important." Ariana said pathetically. "Well let me help you solve some of your mysteries then." Gregory said as he sat himself down. Ariana looked up as she blinked her tears away. 

"Don't give me that look." Grgeory hissed. Ariana started to look at Gregory closer, keeping her eyes glued to his face as she leaned in. "Why?" Ariana asked. Gregory pulled out his handkerchief and shoved it into her face. "Clean up first." Gregory said as he pushed Ariana back on the bed. "I thought you hated Ariana." Edlyn said as Ariana started to rub the tears from her eyes. 

"I don't hate her... I just had a deep, dislike for her." Grgegory said with a shrug. Ariana peeked from the handkerchief and gave Gregory a doubtful look. "Liar." Edlyn and Ariana said in unison.

"No, I just..." Gregory said as he started to sweat. He then brought both of his hands into his cobalt blue hair and started to rub his head. His perfectly brushed hair now looked wild and messy. "Look! You just reminded me of Penelope and it bothered me. It bothered me a lot so my dislike towards you wasn't your own fault! I never bothered to get to know you and when... When aunt Lidia a.s.signed me to be your personal bodyguard I started to see who you really were and, and you weren't Penelope, not even close." Gregory said as his anger deflated. 

"You aren't in love with me now?" Ariana asked in disgust. "No! Don't be stupid!" Gregory shouted as he blushed. Both girls looked at Gregory with mistrust. "You!" Grgeory hissed as he stood up then cough in embara.s.s.e.m.e.nt. He calmed down and sat back down. "You slightly look like Zula and your eyes could be seen as a type of blue... so I just imabahbdin gyue dahshehys." Gregory said as he covered his mouth with his hand.

"What?" The girls asked in utter confusion. 'Oh he said he imagined you as his real daughter.' Davita said happily as she winked at Gregory. Edlyn and Ariana shot a confused look at Gregory. "In what world could I be your daughter?!" Ariana asked. "You're not even married!" Edlyn shouted. Ariana looked at Edlyn and shook her head. "Not the point." Ariana said flatly. "Oops sorry." Edlyn said as she blushed.

"I KNOW!" Grgeory shouted as he covered his face with his hands. "But I couldn't stop myself. I even thought that Penelope left you to Zula because she was too embara.s.sed to let me know. You acted like her I couldn't stop my thoughts. Your pickiness, your stubbornness, how you want things to change and your love of good food. Soon I couldn't stop my thought then one day I thought maybe there was just a small chance that you were mine... I had to try and approach you but you already had a bad impression of me. So I didn't know what to do but then when you changed into that beast form... Well my hopes shattered." Gregory sighed as he brought his hands down.

"Why?" Ariana asked in utter shock. "That maybe Penelope left me because she found someone else... someone who would believe her and had a child with him." Gregory said pitifully. "So you hated me." Ariana said bluntly. "I'm sorry." Gregory replied listlessly. "But you started to become tolerable." Edlyn said in an attempt to cheer up Gregory.

"Hahaha. Ya just a bit. I really got a good look at Ariana during our stay here. When she urged for my help to rescue the Nahia family... I couldn't ignore my feelings... sigh, but then, well whatever, the next day you didn't remember anything. Even though it wasn't your fault I still felt hurt. I thought you were stronger then what he said but I was dissapointed... I have never been so turned around in my life." Gregory said with a weak smile.

"Oh! Then you had to show up at my job and start telling people that you were my daughter... My heart was really in a mess then. I thought you came to me because you remembered that night but then that happened. I couldn't stop my fantasies, I really wanted you to be my daughter and couldn't stop myself from being, well tolerable. I hoped that we would mend our relations.h.i.+p and Penelope.... Sniff.... That Penelope would come home to us." Gregory said as tears started to pool in his eyes.

"Then we got in to that fight." Ariana said sadly. "I couldn't hold back my rage. My heart broke that night and I said so many stupid things. I'm sorry." Gregory apologized but Ariana couldn't accept it. She stayed silent. "Why did she leave you?" Ariana asked bluntly. "Penelope?" Gregory asked as he brushed his tears away.

"She said somethings I couldn't accept. I laughed at her and she couldn't take it. The next day she was gone." Gregory said with a heavy sigh. "It's also part of the reason why I couldn't ignore you Ariana." Gregory continued as he turned to Ariana. "What?" Ariana asked.

"She told me she was reborn in this world." Gregory said nonchalantly. "I wish I beileved her. She would still be standing next to me, we would have had a family but now... Now I'm pathetically waiting for her." Gregory said as he leaned back into the chair. "So you believed everything I said then." Ariana asked. "No doubt." Gregory replied without hesitation. "But now I have another clue about her." He then continued. 

"The rebellion?" Edlyn asked. "That's right, the rebellion. I would have never known she had someone she needed to report too. So maybe if I stick with you I can finally her and beg forgiveness." Gregory said with a gentle smile. Ariana blushed and averted her gaze.

"My G*d Gregory if you smiled like that more often you would be a major heart throb, even for a father." Ariana teased. "I agree, very handsome." Edlyn said with a wide smile.
